I gave you a thumbs up because not only did you upload a video that most want to see, you also used words and talked about mechanical leverage in terms that the majority of the people watching this video won’t understand. I understood what you said and I appreciate someone who “gets it” where suspension comes into play.

You can even start with an 11/2" pvc pressure coupling they are about a 1/2" longer and if you get a slip coupling they do not have a stop in them so the pipe can be a solid piece.

Hey just a heads up. I love the video and thank you for the info it sounds like you worked on ATVs or have been trained well on this and I'm gonna take your advice and try this out. With that being said, I work with PVC & they do have Schedule 80 PVC which is made for pressurized water in pools, spas, etc. So it will fit just as tight around the shock and just Be thicker and stronger. Also there's something called a " slipped coupling" for when there's NO play or give in a pipe so it doesn't have a stopper in the middle so if you used that it will be even stronger With less joints. Also it's IMPERATIVE That PVC Primer/ cleaner is used this melts the plastic and when glued it's practically 1 piece after that and WAY Stronger than just glue ( for those who didn't know)

Hey Christian. Thanks for the cheap lift tip.
Just picked up a new 2016 500 Rubicon (exact same quad - manual shift and all - what I prefer in any machine). Was considering a High Lifter lift kit, but for $100 +, I am going to try your trick first. Only want a slight lift, so, I am going to try a 3/4 inch spacer and see where the bike will sit. Not looking for a super lift as I am only running 26" Slingshot tires, plus, I still would like to have a bit of a softer ride.
Thanks again, will let you know how it works out.
All the best, and keep up the excellent videos. You are the best promoter for Honda I have see so far. They should be paying you a commission.

Never tried it yet as with the 26" Slingshot Tires, the bike has adequate ride height for the riding I have been doing thus far. However, I will be keeping this in mind for if my riding changes. Have the bike set at the 2nd softest setting on the spring pre-loading as I find this the best setting for the tires.

With the gear on it dropped bout 2.5 inches it I'm going up in 2 weekends so next weekend is the only time I got time to do it

No idea. Some of the old Hondas don't use an upper spring keeper you have to actually unscrew the upper bushing kind of a pain
