What a beautiful practice! I am a yoga teacher myself but have never resonated very much with Yin Yoga until I found you. It deeply changes my way of how I perceive the Yin side of Yoga... thank you so much!!
Lovely to hear that! You're so welcome!
Your voice is so SOOTHING! It is so difficult to find yoga teachers with a slower paced voice that is so therapeutic at the same time. You remind me of Sarah Powers!!
Aw so sweet of you Jen!
Thank you Jennifer, just what I needed today to make me feel like a human being.
Yay! Yoga sure does help us feel more human sometimes :))
You are amazing. Please please put some more yin yoga practice videos. I love your voice, your kindness and your professionalism. I will bring all my community here to your videos if you will be updated :)

This is my favourite yin video ever! Your voice and the overall flow is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much,
Thank you for practicing!
Your voice is so soothing! I really like your yin yoga videos. I am absolutely in love with yin yoga. I just recently learned about fascia and how important a role this very underrated tissue is. Not to mention also learning the meridians and how they work as well. I think it's pretty amazing and I have noticed that since I have been doing yin yoga, I am so much more in touch with my body...and my emotions. I can't go a day without my yin yoga. It has become such an important part of my practice and my favorite out of every other style of yoga. Thank you so much for posting these videos! They are a nice complement to my very yang power yoga sessions as well as days that I feel so just overwhelmed by my life and need to slow down, breathe, and find peace within.
That's great Jessica! You're right, the yin practice is such a powerful tool to remain calm when we're feeling overwhelmed! Plus it's a great compliment to our more active practice. I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos! Keep it up!!
I really appreciate your practice the outdoors, the pace, and the focus on an organ. Thank you

Just lovely, Jennifer, such a lovely practice, thank you, I feel so peaceful.
Wonderful to hear!
Jennifer, I absolutely love all of your work! But I have a question. Which one is better for flexibility: to practice yin yoga everyday, or to alternate between yin yoga and a more yang-style of yoga (e.g. monday: yin, tuesday: yang, wednesday: yin, thursday: yang... and so on)?
Hi there! It really depends on the person, so there isn't a formula I suggest. I usually recommend a mix of strength based and flexibility work. So I suggest asking yourself if you tend to be more flexible or strong? If you tend to be more flexible, you probably could benefit from some standing poses, weights, or strength based movement at least half the time. You'll also probably notice that some areas of your body could use more flexibility and others could use more strength. Hope that helps!

How many people do you think can just flop back into saddle like that? Even the modification is very advanced.
Hi Lora, You're right - saddle is a pretty deep backbend! I mentioned in the video that you could start stacking bolsters to support your body if its too deep. Another option is to just go back a bit and support yourself with your hands. You could also swap out saddle with a "belly down" backbend or do another pose that opens the quads/hip flexors. Hope that helps! :)
