Kate i just enrolled to your yin course because since i started my journey in yoga this is the type of yoga that has impacted me in a more complete way. Yin has literally change my life, reduced my stress levels, increased my flexivility and rooted my soul.
❤ Kate, great information. I love the fact that you shared your personal experience. I am enrolled in the yoga renew course and loved your explanation. Holding a pose for 3 to 5 minutes is no joke. The emotional aspect of Yin is such a plus! Too much rush, rush in our hectic lives.
Yin has evolved, i like the older style with long holds and mentally challenging silence. Today people seem to expect gentle, cosy, with slow movements. Yin is not easy it´s hardcore. Nothing wrong with other styles but call it gentle yin or yin flow or something.
Thank you, Kate! This was very helpful. I completed your Yin course and really enjoyed it but was not sure where to start with teaching. I will be attending some Yin classes to get a 'feel' for how to teach as I am anxious to share this with others.
Thank you. ❤ I completed your beautiful Yin yoga program and loved it. I teach privately as well as classes at a martial arts dojo and tested out teaching a couple yin classes. It has been successful and is currently my students favorite class. I've also completed the restorative yoga course. But I would love any insight on how to delve deeper into yin and the like, or any further reading you could recommend 🙏. Thank you for bringing this amazing practice into my life 😊
