Years ago, James said that the song was inspired by the late 70’s/early 80’s movie with Anthony Hopkins called “Magic”. The film portrayed Hopkins as a ventriloquist and the lines between his personality and his dummy’s personality were becoming blurred. I especially loved Steph’s more succinct take in it, though! 🍻

I dont think a lot of ppl realize how hard it is to play ALL the chords for an entire song,, all the way thru,,, and literally not mess up 1 chord,,,, or u have to start the song all over again..... Yeah i like some rap but playing multiple guitars at the same time,, and drums, and bass, OH AND GREAT LYRICS,, is like 1000x more talent than pressing 2 buttons for a rap beat........ Sorry not sorry. Not to mention most modern day rap is just auto-tuned bullshit cause they are fucking talentless and dont even have a fucking voice they can even sing or rap LOLLLL.
