Thank you too the fullest for these videos, I've been suffering through some of the worst anxiety. I constantly repeat phrases in my to resolve the idea/emotion, but the thought never leaves. I'm going to start practicing these method’s instead of suppressing these thoughts with lies.

ACT can help with GAD by teaching us to midfuy accept anxious thoughts and feelings rather than trying to control them. We commit to values-based action even if it makes us anxious, shifting the focus from symptom reduction to living meaningfully despite anxiety
This is somewhat misleading, the aim of ACT is not emotional control of feelings, and not the elimination of anxiety/depression. But this maybe be an outcome... in a given situation.
You are right, the title is misleading and I'll edit it. The video was originally called something like "What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy?" and it was getting fewer views than I usually get. People watch videos based on thumbnails and titles so I added depression and anxiety to the title to encourage people to watch who don't know what ACT is.

Been seeing people for over 10 years and I am only 26 , trying to get better, A&C therapy has made a huge change in my life.
