- One of the Evil-Dog Productions & SickDeathFiend's masterpiece creations. The game is fun when you are the one who actually play it, I don't think it is fun to watch someone else play this game though. So, that's why I shift my focus on other games but since a lot of people have been requesting me to play this, then I'll do it.
Ultimately, this is a good sequel to the previous games. SickDeathFiend's animations are on point though. Great soundtracks, interesting characters and extremely good voice actors. Yeah, I think that's it, I completed Saga of The Dead series for now. I will make another gameplay for this series when the Streets of the Dead come out.

I love the musics are different depending on zombie's feelings
Passive: peaceful and relaxing
Neutral: sinister and ominous
Aggresive: hardcore death metal music
Without the musics, I wouldn't know if the specimen's reactions is angry, passive or neutral.

Honestly, I wish that they did an end cut scene. After he says about leaving as soon as possible, there is an option to leave and a cut scene plays. But you don't have to leave so you can stay as long as you want.
That cut scene should go like this:
He goes upstairs and leaves the lab. He brings some weapons from the lab with him. He walks away from the lab and away from the city. After some time, his brother John Creasman from the first game finds him and picks him up in his mustang. They talk a bit about what happened to them both. They drive away. Credits.
What do you think?
Interesting idea, but Evildogs already made a sequel to this game, Range of the Dead. In my opinion, that end cutscene probably would create major deviation from the dev team's intended plot :)
@@MrNoob-wc3hv oh, then maybe they should put that cutscenes in the end of that game. But after they drive away the helocopter picks them up later.
(I don't think they'll know who John is. They only know is name, not his face.)
Or maybe it could keep the camera in the facility. Once you leave, the zombie breaths a sigh of relief. It grabs the stick from the table of item and tries to break the chain. No luck. It uses the stick to pull over the gun, hoping, praying that it's the loaded one. It picks it up, brings the barrel to the chain and BLAM! One of the chains shatter, and one gunshot later, the other chain has followed suit. The zombie actually walks for the first time in what feels like ages. It slips the handgun into its left pocket and the knife into its other. It has a kebab before it leaves the room and explores the facility only to find... everyone is dead. All the soldiers now corpses in their beds. The zombie doesn't mind, It always hated those guys. It takes one of the soldiers nametags. Huh. 'Quinn'. It likes that name and sticks the nametag on its shirt. It is now Quinn. Quinn puts on a backpack and sticks the fork and bucket of meat in it. Quinn slings an assault rifle over its shoulder. Quinn puts on a hazmat suit from the armory and leaves the building. Quinn's a free zombie now. This is Quinns new life. Quinn ventures into the wasteland.

Damn, the "Advanced" results show the zombie being human, attempting to put dead animals down without 'disrespecting' the corpse via dropping it.
Very cool, good game.
It's was emotional when the main specimen started having emotions. That soldier had to goddamn ruin it.

You know, come to think of it, I just realised that these research workloads were not waste of time at all. Tyler was sooo close to discover on how to control the zombies. However, due to low moral, lack of equipments and after killing all the soldiers in the compound, he became too emotional and thus perceived this research as pointless. At least, he knew about the conspiracy between the S14 virus and the armies. You're all welcome to make your own stand :)
This is basically a rather fitting specimen that embodies the ideals of Day of the Dead by George A. Romero. In his stories, the undead are far from the greatest threat that humanity must face off against, and that they seem fully capable of learning... even growing to adapt to whatever challenges oppose them. The military tends to be rather incompetent, easily being consumed by their own inner conflicts and turmoil, ultimately perishing by their own devices or at the very least being the instrument of their own downfall. Any hope of salvation for humanity tends to be shattered by the incompetence of higher-ups and lack of support.
Zahnweh Zombie Interesting, it shows they have similar essences between this game and Day of the Dead when the authorities do not provide sufficient support. Power is considered everything to them which lead them to become very arrogant shown by Captain J. Walker and his squad. In the end, their arrogant and selfishness paid the price. Therefore, I agree with you, zombies are not the biggest threat in this context, they are :)
You both make good points. This game is old but it was sure interesting & I enjoyed the story.
And why is the government always trying to make a zombie virus? It's never worked out for ANYONE. EVER. It always goes wrong & starts the Apocalypse. Unless that was their intentions in which case they succeded in damning the human race.

There was nothing more sad or tragic than when a zombie realizes an animal is dead and actually seems legitimately sad by it.

It's kind of crazy how we spend so many days with the specimen, founding so many new reactions and findings, and that asshole just goes in and BAM! The show just became uninteresting anymore!
Speaking of which, I wonder how Walker would react if we show how the zombie can hold guns and listen to orders... Though I feel that isn't a great idea anyway.
Personally i would say “So it’ll follow our orders and kill if needed? Can we train it to loathe human mean too?” I’d show genuine interest, after all it’s a zombie that can weild a gun and follow basic orders, soon you could let it free roam the compound just patrolling.

I actually got fairly attached to the butcher zombie woman who takes up the middle hour or so of the playthrough, enough that I got concerned when the fan took off her jaw and cognizant of the stakes going forward when Woods came in to do the deed.
Always great to see what quality and creativity can come out of a flash game!

@@MrNoob-wc3hv A tad bit of skipping during the "grindy" sections but yeah, pretty much all the way through. Timestamps could be useful but I dunno, with the chaotic nature of the research simply skipping five seconds or so does the trick.
@@oaknacht6176 People actually hate it when I skip reactions. They have no idea how boring it is to watch same reactions that already been discovered over and over again. They also don't know that the skip option is only available for reactions that are already been discovered. If you just found a new reaction, you just can't skip. If I don't skip, this video would take 5 hours long to finish. 3 hours are already suffering enough for me let alone a 5 hours long.

I recommend anyone who enjoys this to watch the film Day Of The Dead 1985. It's my favorite zombie movie and this game is much a homage to it.

If nobody knows who Captain Jerome Walker is, i'll explain
Captain Jerome Walker or Walker for short is the leader of Project Flatline, basically he leads a short team of soldiers that wear the same uniform as the soldiers from Road Of The Dead 2, meaning that Jerome Walker was sent by either by his superiors or General Sherman (Not General Shepherd, General Sherman, Sherman and Shepherd aren't related as General Sherman is a 4-Star General while General Shepherd is a 3-Star Officer, they both are the main commanders of the US Army but they don't share the same gaming universe despite them being old, Sherman has a white beard while Shepherd just has a mustache, Sherman doesn't wear a cap nor a beret to represent his rank while Shepherd does, having over 3 Stars plated on his beret, either way it's either known that General Shepherd is almost based off General Sherman) on one of Dr. Tyler's documents, Jerome Walker has killed Dr. Lori for unknown reasons but he said that he had to shoot her because she was apart of treason rights, complaining that Dr. Lori herself was acting in a way of treason infront of Captain Jerome Walker, meaning that Dr. Lori was either teasing him or making fun of him

To be honest in terms of morale if the researcher where happy and open with his research the others would notice and receive a bit of his enthusiasm because they are relying on him to get something out of his research and if the soldiers werent all dickheads and barbaric he wouldnt have thought of that about them in the first place and killed them
