I got the Beats Fit Pro for fitness because the APP with activity would cause thumping sounds. I’m sure it’s because of the extended tips rubbing on the side of my face.
I love how even though Unbox Therapy is always late with videos due to shipping and the border, is everyone still watches the videos because Lew is so engaging.
When Lew drops a video, I watch. I don’t really keep up with the latest tech unless Lew’s video pops up to tell me about it or I’m already in the market looking for it.
3's have longer battery life, better ambient sound for awareness, less ear discomfort, faster charge, and smaller case. I prefer them over the pros, they aren't bad at all. Amazing sound quality for an open back design.
@@sp8zz139 I think it all comes down to this. If you spend most of your days alone, get the Pros. If you spend most of your days communicating with others around you, get the 3rd gen.
Having noise cancellation protects your ears from noise induced hearing loss. You should never listen to music past the halfway volume. If you’re on a noisy train without noise cancelling, you’re more likely to turn up your volume so you can’t hear the background noise - this will result in hearing loss over time. Protect your hearing!
I loved the originals. Upgraded to the Pros and haven’t been happy. The Pros were easier to drop due to the shape & smaller stem. Putting them in requires two hands and (because of the tips) they tend to work themselves loose in my ear. I find myself constantly pushing them back into my ear. I’ve also found that I can never use the noise cancellation feature. If I’m out on a walk, run, cycling (need to hear what’s around), at work need to hear the phone or people talk to me, at home… small kids. The 3rd gen feels like the happy marriage between the originals and the Pros.
I have the same thing, I tried my friends AirPods Pro and they were falling out the whole time. Also I want so know what’s happening around me too so anc is just not something I would really use. For me my ears are small my canal is too. The original ones fit really good. I don’t know wether the 3rd gen will fit tho, did u try? Because I think we have the same kind of ears
Apple totally missed the opportunity to have removable silicone tips so you can either opt to have ANC or not any time of the day. I would love to have the airpods pro but I use headphones all the time now especially due to online classes so those silicone tips will definitely hurt. On the other hand using the airpods 3 doesnt feel immersive when I want to listen to music or watch a movie and you can still hear noise. The airpods 3 design is basically just a pro without the silicone tips.
idk what you're going on about. You can remove the tips of the AirPods pros and they're essentially exactly the same as the 3rd Gen AirPods. Not only that, but you can turn off the ANC anytime you want. Nobody is stopping you from just wearing the Pros without the tips. Also, you can buy memory foam tips that are more comfortable than the silicon ones.
@@brandongonzales3785 it gets loose if I remove the tips and I'm not talking about ANC as just the feature but True ANC because half of the ANC is in the silicone tips otherwise you'll only be blocking out half of the noise (thats why samsung's buds live isnt true anc but still has anc) I'm fine with tips when im watching a movie or listen to music immersively but when i'm just using the music when im studying or doing laundry, etc. it stays for a long time and you would definitely feel that strain. And without the tips I wouldnt be able move around freely since they would fall so easily. If you managed to keep it on even without the tips then good for you, but it doesnt work for me and if its as easy as you say then apple should find a way to use the billions they spend on R&D to engineer it to work.
Honestly. The tip in the pros is pretty comfortable and I have small ears. I’ve worn mine for a 6 hour flight all the way through, I took them off only to go to the bathroom (maybe 10 minutes).
" airpods 3 or airpods pro? " yeah like we all gonna spend $200 + on earpods, still rocking my propulse pods since they dropped the 3d gen, couldn't be more satisfied to this day
After buying the 3rd gen (because I lost my second gen), I feel like the 2nd gen fit my ears better. The third feels a tad too big, but I didn't want to get the pros cause I've had a bad experience with the rubber part every time (falls outta my ear). Wish there was a second gen design with the quality of the third gen
Same here. I bought the 3rd gen hoping it would be a better than the pros, ( I bought pros a while back and sold them off because none of the soft tips fit my ear) but I had the same problem with it being too big and falling out of my ears
@@matthewloma1215 you should’ve just bought foam tips. Lots of high quality foam tips sold that isolate sound even more and they don’t slip out like rubber
For your problem with the rubber ears tips falling out of your ear with the pros, there exist 3rd party memory foam tips that mold to your ear and are stickier that work much better. I had the same issue until i got them and have loved them ever since!
I have a pair of each and I enjoy the pros for some things(work, loud areas, etc), but I like the 3's probably 70% of the time outdoors and casual places because it hangs in your ear and you can hear around you and also comfort.
Yep I just ordered 3rd gen yesterday not arrived yet but my son has 3rd gen since they came out and he loves them. He cycles everywhere so probably safer because he can hear what’s happening around him plus like me he isn’t keen to have a silicone plug stuffed in ear canal. I was dithering a bit when it came to choice but hopefully I made the right call for me. If I commuted on a train/tube everyday to London then might make sense to have pro and cancel out all the noise around. Anyway they £60 cheaper so thats a factor for me especially as I am keen to get an imac 24……only got so much cash in kitty 😊
I’ve had my pros for 2 years & still I haven’t used a product that’s come close to these, when it comes to wireless pods. & honestly I don’t use the noise cancellation that often, there just super comfortable & the sound is incredible. They need to make another Pro model if anything.
From personal experience. The pros constantly fall out of my ear. The bud slowly slips out and I have to constantly adjust them. So the 3rd gen AirPods would be great for people who have this issue.
THANK YOU! I thought I was alone with this issue (and yes, @OgnjenJosipovic, I clean my ears too, lmao). I’m just going to repost my lengthy comment here about the same thing: Do you think the Pros will fall out of my ears if every other rubber-tipped earbud I’ve ever tried fell out? Usually, rubber tips push themselves out of my ears EVEN WITH EAR HOOKS 🤦♂️ (and yes, I’ve used small, medium, and large rubber tips, hell, even foam ear plugs slip out of my ears). I had the original AirPods before, and they were so much more comfortable than any rubber-tipped earbuds I’ve tried. They never fell out or even moved, and I even forgot I was wearing them sometimes. I couldn’t get them to fall out, even if I shook my head so hard it hurt. It felt like Apple made the earbuds specifically for my ears and ignored everyone else lol, and I loved being able to hear my environment. I love it when it sounds like the music is coming from around me in real life. I get this from open-back headphones, and I dislike closed-back headphones like the popular Bose, Sony, and Beats noise-cancelling headphones (although I use the Bose when travelling in a loud vehicle). Do the Pros sound like the music is coming from around you, or does it instead sound like you’re hearing sounds coming from earbuds, in your own little bubble? I know there’s transparency mode, but the battery life on that mode would bother me. Would the 3s be a better option? (One thing I couldn’t care less about is clout, even if I were to use some off-brand, goofy-clown-looking Chinese earbuds in public that fit & sound well, that’s all that matters to me. I still like the convenience of using Apple products with my iPhone though, until I switch phones. I don’t care if the Pros are “cooler”, I need the better comfort & sound between the Pros and 3s.)
I have the Airpod 3s and I love em! I am not fond of in-ear headphones which is why I was excited when Apple announced another one-size (OS) design. Coming from the original Airpods, the 3s are well worth it. Pros are cool but my ears are uncomfortable after some time of using them. Ima stick with the 3s.
@@Seems12345 Ya man, go and try em. Apple has a 14-day return policy so if it doesn't fit your standards, you can just return em. (Another note: I like to run and these haven't fallen off my ears once!)
I would recommending waiting because soon AirPods Pro 2 would be released which is definitely going to have amazing new features, why would you pay 190 dollars for a 2 year old product
I got the AirPods Pro previously and tried them for almost a full 30 days before return period was over. I just never could get them to feel ok in my ears. They hurt my ears so bad no matter which tips I used. I wish they were more comfortable for those of us with small ears, because the features are so cool! I ultimately went with the Jaybirds for comfort. Maybe one day Apple will make more comfortable earbuds.
If you’d like you can buy a different ear tips which is called comply. It’s a ear tips that you put on the AirPods but it’s different. It’s for the people who is having trouble with having their AirPods Pro stay in their ears. This ear tips will help the AirPods stay in your ears and way more comfortable than the stock silicone tips that comes with the AirPods Pro.
I went from the originals to pros and have recently bought the 3s. Personally prefer the 3s as it has the same sound quality as the pros without the annoying silicon tips. Also prefer the noise cancellation on my Bose QC35s compared to the pros.
@@zureai yeah and they still didn’t fit well. I literally can’t feel the 3s in my ears whereas I used to get earache from the pros. The ideal scenario is that you have a pair of noise cancelling headphones and then normal earbuds as the noise cancellation by Bose is really in a league of its own
i’m thinking i need the airpods 3 because i often wear these while working in a office space so not being able to hear people around me would be annoying
Had the original airpods for a very long time. Used the pros after that, and the pros were really good too, but for me personally the 3rd gen works better.
@@brandonjoseph1489 its personal preference at the end of the day. I dont like the airpods pro airtips inside my ear. Makes me feel uncomfortable. As if my ear cant breath anymore, i mean if that even makes sense. But with the 3rd gen since it has no silicon eartips, i like it better. So at the end of the day its all personal preference like i said
It’s about fit more than sound (pro vs 3’s) they sound very close to the pro’s with less bass and that’s because of isolation (rubber tips). The 3’s are more comfortable because it doesn’t feel like your ears are plugged. Transparency mode is good on the pros but still sounds artificial (amplified) sometimes where the 3’s the environment around you still sounds very natural almost like your not wearing ear buds.
Everyone who is saying “I’m sticking with my pros” duh! Why would you downgrade? The 3’s are an option for people who don’t already have AirPods. Such as myself. I have the galaxy bud lives, but I want to switch to apple however I know I won’t like the rubber tip on the pros and the 3’s will stay in my ear better. On top of that they are slightly cheaper and will get the job done. I had no complaints about apple earbuds so I know the AirPod 3’s will do me just fine. Nice review Lew!
Though the retails aren't that expensive to be honest, I still wouldn't bother buying them. I bought Navapods some time ago (for 50$ or so) and they work great. I'm not an audiophile or anything but they sound pretty decent to me. But nowadays there are quite a lot of knock offs out there so you might get them even cheaper (I just can't recommend any since Navapods are the only ones I tried).
I went with both. AirPods Pro definitely have better audio quality and I love the noise cancellation, but they’re surprisingly less stable in my ears when I’m exercising because the silicone tips slide in my ear canals and also make the body stick out of my ear more than the 3rd Gen. Also, the silicone tips can be uncomfortable when laying down and can make my ears itch after long periods of use. So I use the 3rd Gen while exercising, laying down, or if the Pros cause my ears to itch. The Pros are great when I’m at work, at my computer, or just sitting and listening or watching something.
Hi, i use airpods pro 1, i have just been gifted by apple airpods gen 3 do you think keeping both is necessary. i dont like selling stuff cheap just because, so i might keep both. but would i ever find myself reaching for the 3's after using pros
Personally, I enjoy the overall quality of the Pros. But Ive never liked earbud tips in my ear. Its never worked for me sadly, they slowly slip out of my ear regardless of what size bud I use. The Gen 2 was perfect for me and super comfortable. Im still considering the Gen 3 solely for the similar design to the Gen 2 airpods. I really cant do earbuds😭
was looking to upgrade my gen ones think ill stick with them for now the fact that these have tips is mayor to me ill lose them for sure next to the fact that it seems super unconfortable hope theyll make airpods pro 2 without them
@Julia Mathiasen You should try the Sony Linkbud S or 1000XM4 buds. I almost couldn’t use the AirPods first gen without the wingtips I bought. The XM4 are big, but they somehow fit perfectly. Their memory foam kind of ear tips helped. Linkbuds S are apparently similar but 20$ more than the 3rd gen, with noise cancellation. Just thought I’d make a suggestion because I literally had the same issue and they turned out great for me.
I have both and use them for different things. AirPods Pro definitely have better audio quality and I love the noise cancellation, but they’re surprisingly less stable in my ears when I’m exercising or being active because the silicone tips slide in my ear canals and also make the body stick out of my ear more than the 3rd Gen. Also, the silicone tips can be uncomfortable when laying down and can make my ears itch after long periods of use. So I use the 3rd Gen while exercising, doing yard work, laying down, or if the Pros cause my ears to itch. The Pros are great when I’m at work, at my computer, on a plane, or otherwise just sitting and listening.
I love the pros, but apparently mine were part of an early “bad batch” and they have constant sound drop out and connectivity issues. The worst part is the ear buds losing connectivity with each other and thus disabling ANC while I’m performing loud tasks. Hard to swallow buying another pair.
I’m looking to buy new Airpods as well because mine do the same, with some additional issues. Not sure if I’d trust going with Pros again, especially at such a price.
@@cooperwilliams69420 I got one of the later batches (around 5 months ago) and they work perfectly, I would recommend getting a new pair of the pros unless you need to save money
So I have AirPods in my ears about 3/4 of my waking day..I’m a pleb and only had the Airpods2. I was so excited to get these (gen 3) and finally experience better audio quality, to my disappointment they did not fit my right ear and kept falling out whenever I would smile, laugh, yawn, eat. I was pretty disappointed because the audio quality was a big step up from the gen 2. I watched this video from Lew and realized I couldn’t settle by continuing using the gen 2, I went out and bought the Pro model AirPods and wow…not only do they sound better then the gen 3 they also fit better! Thanks Lew for bringing Pros into this video and giving me the confidence I needed in them to pull the trigger..so glad I did!
I upgraded from the AirPods 2 to the 3. I've tried the Pro and I didn't like the tips. To me, all of them have the same sound quality. I couldn't differentiate any of them. What I love about the upgrade is using the stems as your controls instead of tapping and the battery life is better.
I own the pros and the third Gen buds and if you cannot find tips that sit in your ears on the pros I highly recommend the generation 3 buds they stay in a lot better than the pros especially if you have sweaty ears. The pros are great but they don’t sit in my ear any longer than 15 mins before they start easing their way out.
I have this issue with the pros. They don’t stay in. My ear canals are small. No buds sit in my ears. I was hoping the pro’s would because of the silicon 😏 Considering purchasing the 3rd gen 🤔 but what would I do with ma pros 😐
@@tvance3491 good tip (scuse the pun). I only use my pros at home anyway as they kept falling out. I actually took the tips off my pros to mimic the 3rd gen and they felt more comfy 😊 I’ll wait until the noise cancelling version comes out.
The AirPods gen 3 are great for general listening during activities such as exercising, relaxing in a living room, or having phone calls. The AirPods Pro can do what the gen 3 can but with noise cancellation as an added bonus. They are both great in my opinion, and I've used the AirPods Pro for a long time and just got the gen 3. If you're low on money, get the pros only. If you want a variety and great benefits from each AirPods type, then get both. I own both, I prefer the gen 3 for general listening than the pros because the rubber tips irritate me after a little while.
@@frieza2235 Yeah I know this, thanks for the update. My point was that investing $180 or more dollars for either the Gen 3 or the AirPods Pro would make the AirPods Pro worth the extra investment than settling for the Gen 3 if you only want to spend money on one pair. Try reading my comment again, you might get it this time, buddy.
@@zacharydacosta911 I agree with your sentiments but I think you're in the VERY small minority of people who would spend 100+ on 2 similar pairs of earbuds used for the same purpose but it's a interesting perspective!
Personally, I love big watches. And the fact that it's a G-Shock means that you don't have to have a heart attack if you bump or slam your smart watch against something.
Personally I like more slim smartwatches, which is why I bought a Garmin watch instead. And because it's stainless steel with a sapphire display, I'm not worried about bumping it either.
I couldn’t get use to the pros. Thru many attempts at getting a fit that didn’t bother my ears, I returned them. Really enjoyed the Beats studio buds, and still use them, but I was happy to pick up the AirPods 3. The perfect middle of the road solution.
It seems more of a convenience from Apple to give to their customers a pro look in a sweet spot price wise for the ones who can’t afford the pro (majority)
The pro is either the same price or 10 dollars more than the 3rd gen airpods. As soon as I learned this I cancelled my 3rd gen order and bought the pros for the same price
As someone who has control issues i could never go for a walk without hearing my enviroment, i need to know if someone or something is coming up behind me. Edit: And yes, having stuff in my earcanal makes it itch after a couple of minutes. The gen 3 are for me.
Returned my Pro’s after 1 week of use. Didn’t like in-ear feeling. Felt dizziness and pressure on my ears after using NC, especially in noisy environments. Even without NC active, they still block sounds from the outside. Felt overall unnatural. Got the 3’s and love them! They fit so perfectly that often I forget that I still have them in my ears. Sound is amazing. Don’t get the Pro’s, try both and decide for yourself.
dont tell people to get the 3s just cause u had a problem nobody has😂 pros are so much better, your ears just werent used to it. u gotta use them more than a week. plus u can turn noise cancellation off, plus u get different sized earbuds. boom
@@itsmehydraaa no I have the same exact problem which is why I came here to see if anyone else did and this guy is speaking fax. Just got my airpod pros as a gift this christmas and notice that they slip out alot, cancels too mich outside sound as if I have my ears in water. The regular airpods are much more comfortable and always stay in my ear(never slips out)
Had similar experience with sony xm4 headphones. When I put it on, I just couldn’t bear it on my head and NC literally made me dizzy. Then I ordered one plus in-ear buds and that gave me a headache after listening to couple of minutes. It seems that for some people, NC and in ear buds is not suitable. They should stick with the traditional earphones similar to earpods or AirPods 2 or 3
If it has the Unbox Therapy picture, always check the account and make sure it has more than one subscriber and that it's not a day or a week old... (AKA those are fake unbox Therapy accounts)
I had to get rid of my Pro’s unfortunately, they kept slipping off of my ears no matter what tips I got so I ended up getting the Powerbeats Pro and they’re perfect.
I’ve got the 3rd gen as well as the pros and i definitely think the 3rd gen sound better than the pros. The pros seem to lack the highs and lows of the 3rd gen, they almost sound muddy in comparison. I do like the noise cancellation on the pros though & the ease of switching to transparency. I also had the Sony wf-xm4 for a couple of weeks but they didn’t fit my ears very well. They actually spanked both models of the AirPods with ease. Only went back to apple as they fit my ears really well. If you’re looking for a top quality pair in in-ears though, go for the Sonys. If they’ll fit your ears, they’re better by a long way!
@@phonkaddict2119 don’t think it’s an opinion it’s more like a proven fact, the Sony XM4s are the best overall wireless earbuds they stomp airpods to the ground
I knew already that the 3’s might not be it but after this review, SO GLAD I’m sticking with my pro’s. I don’t know if I could say goodbye to noise cancellation 😩. “Get the pro’s” 😂
Unfortunately in canal buds always pop out of my ear during workouts. Ive been using Gen 1s with a silicon wing to hold them in place which is perfect. Bought the Gen 3s to replace those since they barely hold an hour charge anymore. Love my Pros for Office/Coffee shop work 100% though.
I really like the 3rd gen airpods. The only thing I don’t like is the sound leak on them and how people around me have to tell me to turn my music down because it’s too loud.
Lew has evolved beyond human weaknesses and limits in the art of videomaking. The guy is just so seamless, smooth, unpredictable, seemingly flawless and so daring. Comes out so clean with humour and creativity in a blend of appropriateness all coming together to give you all the information you'd want to know about an item
I bought the pro's but the shape hurt my ear after a while, whereas I can wear the regular airpods without problem - so I prefer them. The audio in the pro's is obviously much better.
I’ve used all AirPods I loved the AirPods 3 the most in terms of comfort apart from when I’m sleeping while I use them that’s where the original AirPods win but the pro 2 have all of this amazing technology and the case is also helping me not to lose them so easily😂. Battery life goes to EarPods 3 for sure. All in all airpids pro 2 take the win. Best quality comfortable when I sleep with them amazing noise cancellation lots of volume transparency mode is great too spatial audio. Worth every penny
Just got brand new 1st gen AirPod pros for a Christmas present today and they are incredible. Then I tried my cousins 3rd gen AirPods and just not as good.
I think they should keep the older models (3rd generation AirPods) around. I for one am not always into the newer generation of anything. I look at being comfortable and being able to use this specific thing everyday without having a problem with it or losing a part. But I will try the AirPods pro 😁
Love my airpods pro specially using it in the gym. When airpods first came out I never liked it because it doesn’t have the tip. When I got pro as a gift, i was so happy to see the tip. It doesn’t fall off, sounds are amazing, it feels very premium.
The reason I bought AirPods 3 today is because I just do not like the idea of those silicone tips … I was debating with my self for about a minute but then decide to go with AirPods 3 . So far so good, I like the way they are sitting in my ears .
After resisting buying apple products for so long (die-hard Android guy), I finally got fed up with the bad options for silicone tipless ear buds. I caved and bought the gen 3 from Costco when they were on sale and hate how much I love them. They're comfy for long periods of time, great sound quality considering there's no silicone tip, and honestly I like that I can still hear most things around me while using them. I'm also not bothered by the lack of ANC. 10/10, probably won't buy anything else from Apple until they break
Bought the AirPods 3 and love them. They’re a huge upgrade from the old wired headphones. I didn’t want in ears and these made more sense. Also just received the Latercase AirPods 3 case based on this video and am impressed with the product and the company. You get what you pay for. No regrets.
As I like the pros they hurt my ears tremendously I would rather have them yes do they work for me no so therefore I have to use either 2’s or the 3’s which I did at this point in time I use both thank you for the video very informational
i’m not a fan of how the pros have the rubber tips. I still have the 1st gen airpods and i’ve used everyday since purchasing and they are starting to have some battery life issues. these might be the perfect upgrade
You should refer to the type/model you’re holding when referring to it instead of “this” or “these”. It’ll help in knowing which model ur talking about throughout the video.
I think it's important to understand that the new AirPods 3 are not meant to compete with the Pros. They are an upgrade to the AirPods 2, even if the 3s have some design and software cues from the Pros. I bought the 3s and I love them. They sound really good and I like that there is nothing sticking in my ear canals. But that's just me. No sense in thinking you are getting all the benefits of the Pro for a little more money if you can't wear them.
The top of the original AirPods ended up rubbing against my ear so much that I was bleeding and, therefore, causing scabs and overall discomfort, which is why I basically had to switch to the Pros, solely for the silicone tips. So, as much as I want the new pods, I don’t think I can partake ):
Very much considering buying the 3rd gen over the pro’s. The pro’s are insanely uncomfortable in my ears and constantly fall out regardless of which buds I attach to the headphone.
Love this video and the way Lewis speaks in calm and engaging manner. This experience throughout the video was like a meditation guidance process to me. Truth.
I just ordered the AirPods 3 , I got them because the 2nd gen one fit great but wanted more new feel and I didn’t get the pro ones because I hate the ear piece inside my ear . Plus they were the same price all three in Best Buy So yeah 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I wouldn't say I like the plastic piece fitting on the pros. I continue to purchase the first generation because it goes right into my ear. The pro version is similar to the millions of brands that use different silicone rubber fittings to jam into your ear. It looks like I will purchase the third gen AirPods.
so personal experience for the pros ive been using them since they came out and i have to say after around a 2 months after i realised i made a mistake buying them the charging for the buds hardly work for me and after a while the buds hurt my ears to the point its painful to put them in i will be making the change to the gen 3s due to liking the old design mixed in with the new design
Get the Pro. The problem with getting the Pro is that the Pro 2 might be releasing sometime this year. So I would say wait on the Pro 2 and stick with what you already have.
Ok good, I’m glad I have the pro and they didn’t improve it with the third generation. As an all apple environment consumer, it gets a little frustrating having your devices become obsolete every year. It usually takes me 2 years to pay for my phone, watch, or iPad and I can’t just upgrade all 3 of them every year when apple comes out with the new models. Generally the improvements are so minor that you don’t really notice the difference. I purchased every model of the iPad from the time it came out and I love iPad, I kept upgrading each year because they said there was so many speed enhancements and it just got crazy. Not only do you have to upgrade your device and pay that price, but you are also looking at premium screen protectors and cases, and I get all my cases from pad and quill for the finest leather case you can get. So needless to say the last thing I want to have to upgrade is my AirPods, at least they don’t need a leather case.
Loved the pros, if they would just stay sealed in my ears lol. Had to sell them. In-ear headphones were never made for my ears, so the 3rd gen is definitely for me.
100% agree I’ve tried so many headphones with the warriors and no matter how small the tip is it hurts my ears and end up falling out and I have to mash them in
I have the AirPods Pro and need an update. I don’t know if I want to get the new ones just because I love the noise cancellation and the transparency mode. So is the sound quality etc worth?
If you absolutely HATE ear tips like me, not in a lot of noisy areas, or work out a lot such as running or weightlifting, the Airpods 3 are for you. When I had pros, they would always start to wiggle out every 5 minutes or so of running
@@williamnewland4706 Not really, they actually have better sound. I don't care enough for anc bc of the eartips. I suppose if you just sit around all day they'd work

I’m sorry but the pros come with different size tips if people can’t find a size that fits they must have strange shape ears
Great video! I got the airpods 3 because i have had 9 surgeries in my ear canal, so trying to find earbuds is really difficult because any silicone tip causes my ear to get infected because of how frail my ear canals are. I was rocking the 1st gen until the pros and i picked up the pros hoping they would be good but they were the same as all the other silicone tipped earbuds.

This goes both ways! Cause i have noise cancellation BOSE buds, they damaged my ears cause they keep noise in better + the sound too pure.
I still use the 2nd gen pods - no issues whatsoever
Airpod pros have transparent hearing though, you can switch between noise cancelling and hearing crisper than with earphones, in one second.
the 3rd gens fall while I workouts its awful
well said
Apple totally missed the opportunity to have removable silicone tips so you can either opt to have ANC or not any time of the day.
Silicon tips don’t hurt
Honestly. The tip in the pros is pretty comfortable and I have small ears. I’ve worn mine for a 6 hour flight all the way through, I took them off only to go to the bathroom (maybe 10 minutes).

You don’t find that the 3s fall out? I’m torn, I’d use them mostly for running but I’m afraid to drop guap on something unusable lol

Do you think the Pros will fall out of my ears if every other rubber-tipped earbud I’ve ever tried fell out?

It’s about fit more than sound (pro vs 3’s) they sound very close to the pro’s with less bass and that’s because of isolation (rubber tips).

So overall AirPods Pro?
@@gamingproknight yes but the new ones the 2
So do u like EarPod, airpid or airpod?
I'm so glad they made these, i've been through so many pairs of the original. I cannot STAND the rubber kind.
Yup that’s the same sentiment I have in my review, get the pros, not the 3s
depends on your ears!
@@danishpuffpastry sure! Though 3’s and pros have basically the same shape, excluding the ear tips on the pro. AirPods 2 ofc are the OG shape.
Just got brand new 1st gen AirPod pros for a Christmas present today and they are incredible. Then I tried my cousins 3rd gen AirPods and just not as good.
I got the Gen 1 for my birthday about 4 years ago. I got the Gen 3 yesterday. A little bigger and different to get used to.
Beats Fit Pro FTW. The most comfortable. Fit awesome. Will never ever fall off. All plus beside the no option on wireless charging case.
Need Lew to review these next
I think they should keep the older models (3rd generation AirPods) around. I for one am not always into the newer generation of anything. I look at being comfortable and being able to use this specific thing everyday without having a problem with it or losing a part. But I will try the AirPods pro 😁
I was gonna buy the 3’s… but I kept hearing your voice…. “Get the Pro”🤣🤣

Love my airpods pro specially using it in the gym. When airpods first came out I never liked it because it doesn’t have the tip. When I got pro as a gift, i was so happy to see the tip. It doesn’t fall off, sounds are amazing, it feels very premium.
this is my first air pods 3 unboxing experience , ,literally I've been waiting for unboxtherapy's unboxing I'm excited
I’m 11 and I’m saving up for a phone or AirPods 1st gen for my birthday

I have the AirPods Pro, and I absolutely love them. I’ve never had any problems or issues with them, they work great! 😊👌🏾
0:01 the quality of the video is impressive with natural skin tones and not much editing
Bought the AirPods 3 and love them. They’re a huge upgrade from the old wired headphones. I didn’t want in ears and these made more sense. Also just received the Latercase AirPods 3 case based on this video and am impressed with the product and the company. You get what you pay for. No regrets.
Are you referring to the Apple wired headphones that came included with the phones? What’s the sound/bass difference like?
@@Steve01091988 no comparison. Those old ones sucked
Awesome thanks for the reply. I’ll give the 3s a try at the Apple Store this weekend
@@Steve01091988 For sure. I like mine a lot.
Thanks Brian. I’m just use to the wired ear phones but definitely sounds like pods 3 will be better and more bass
The comments are more informative than the video. 🤷🏻♀️
I love my Gen3! Easier to keep clean than the inner ear bud.
Personally loving the 3rd gens, I cannot stand silicon tip earbuds.
As a gen 2 user, I can confirm that the AirPods 2 are pretty good regardless of noise canceling but the gen 2 work just as fine for me
I feel like I need both AirPod Pros and AirPod 3 for different uses!
You are the first reviewer that so honest. You don’t get that a lot. Thank you for the honesty. Great review. Get the PRO

The studio looks like the damn bat cave from the dark night 😂
just got airpods 3 yesterday and bro they sound amazing and don't slip out my ear at all and the quality sound is unbelievable
worth the money over the 2nd gen?
@@itsmondays7235 yes u pay a little more but its worth I played 1 60 because I got a discount in my best buy
Am so glad that I already got the pros😂 I was so down to get the gen 3s but Lew came to the rescue and saved me from a huge loss
Same i ordered mine coming Tuesday
Same here I was convinced that the 3rd gen was for me but the when lew uploaded this video I cancelled the order and got the pro 👍
How’s the spatial audio from Netflix
Are the airpods good for surround sound? For example games like pubg, codm, etc?
@@04mason yea. If you they sound great 👍
As I like the pros they hurt my ears tremendously I would rather have them yes do they work for me no so therefore I have to use either 2’s or the 3’s which I did at this point in time I use both thank you for the video very informational
Get the 3s, I moved to them from the pros and they’re amazing!
For me personally ive never had a comfort issue or the falling out problem with the pros the sound quality is miles ahead of the 2 and the 3 imo
Facts don’t know how it falls out ears but yea
With this being so close to the airpods pro in features and sound, I'm curious to see what they have in store for the new airpods pro
When do the new i pod pros come come?
@@MarS-dc2qx Later on near the holiday
i’m not a fan of how the pros have the rubber tips.

YOUR STUDIO CEILING IS FIRE 😍🔥🔥🔥🔥

Try comply eartips. They are great
Fr I regret getting the pros THEY KEEP FALLING OUT MY FREAKING EAR‼️‼️😭
Yeah I just brought them and man my ear hurts
That dancing was as good as Elons 🤣🤣The foot work was better though. Top notch.
Love my airpod pros! The noise cancellation is amazing, and when At work the transparency mode is great!
@TheEditor107 mine fit fine and don’t hurt, wear them for hours
@TheEditor107 Let me correct you. * “They hurt my ears and fall out”
take a shot every time he says “get the pro”
"Get the pro" 😂
I’m already drunk and I didn’t even get the bottle to pour out the shots.
so personal experience for the pros ive been using them since they came out and i have to say after around a 2 months after i realised i made a mistake buying them the charging for the buds hardly work for me and after a while the buds hurt my ears to the point its painful to put them in i will be making the change to the gen 3s due to liking the old design mixed in with the new design
Does it hurt because of the design or the sound?
Get the Pro. The problem with getting the Pro is that the Pro 2 might be releasing sometime this year. So I would say wait on the Pro 2 and stick with what you already have.
Good advice

100% agree I’ve tried so many headphones with the warriors and no matter how small the tip is it hurts my ears and end up falling out and I have to mash them in
The only thing I don’t like about the pros is the fact that they build up too much earwax and easily slips out of ears, no matter the ear piece size.
I have the AirPods Pro and need an update. I don’t know if I want to get the new ones just because I love the noise cancellation and the transparency mode. So is the sound quality etc worth?
Giving up noise cancellation and transparency mode is a lot to me. Even if the sound quality is there, it’s hard to lose that
If you absolutely HATE ear tips like me, not in a lot of noisy areas, or work out a lot such as running or weightlifting, the Airpods 3 are for you. When I had pros, they would always start to wiggle out every 5 minutes or so of running
3 will be a massive step back from the pros
@@williamnewland4706 Not really, they actually have better sound. I don't care enough for anc bc of the eartips. I suppose if you just sit around all day they'd work
@@BigBoss549 pros are a million times better. And no I don’t sit around all day I own a camping site and do a lot of maintenance work almost every day and work tools I use are loud. And the pros block out the sounds and tips fit in my ears perfect and comfortable. I’m sorry but the pros come with different size tips if people can’t find a size that fits they must have strange shape ears
I hate rubber tip earbuds so the 3s would probably be best. I also still only have the AirPod 1s, so either one would be an improvement

I like how this guy goes straight to the point “ get the pro”
I still love my airpods pro. Love the noise cancellation and how the silicon tips sits right in my ear. 😍❤️☺️

Bonus round 💀💀 god I love when he really gets going, reminds me of the old days, keurig cold Coca Cola 😂😂😂
I got the 3s about 2 months ago and i couldnt be happier, its a great upgrade to the 1st gen and it doesnt hurt my ears.
