Great video. I went with the 'lesser' Airpods 3 over the 2nd gen pros precisely for comfort reasons, as in-ear buds just aren't comfortable for me, and you also have to deal with more ear wax with it inserted in your ear (yuck). For me, the lower maintenance and better long term comfort of the AirPod 3's fit my needs a lot more. If I need noise cancelling, I have some over-ear headphones for that task.

Agreed in ear never worked for me but since the AirPods 1 2 and 3 they been the best noise canceling like you said got some AirPods Max or Sony xm5 for that

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

I have both the pros 2 and regular 3, both just as good and useful in different situations. If I had to pick one it'd be the 3 with magsafe, they are the go anywhere do anything airpods also cheaper.

My only question is how good does the Pro ver 2 sound compared to a Quality set of Studio Headphones for music. Can the Air Pods just remotely live up to and compare Sound Quality vise or are they mainly for wireless transfere and all the noise cancelling and other gimmick features. I personly use a pair of Beyer Dynamics DT 700 Pro X at home, which I of cause only can use with my Phone with a Lightning to headphones adapter which is only practicall when you are fairly stationary in one place..

I don’t understand how no one is talking about the mic quality situation is it like certain units just have bad mics cause I had the 1st gen pro for years and could never make a phone call on them because of the mics I was hoping they would fix that

I had 2nd gen and battery life was terrible. I’m happy with AirPods 3 but like my old AirPods I had to buy tips with hooks for them to stay in my ear.
I’m thinking about buying them but I’m afraid they won’t fit well

Very entertaining videos E. I have the AirPods Pro however I always had issues with them when having calls or recording voice notes. I got them replaced but the issue was still there. I can never use them and must take them off when I get a call. The sound is not clear to the caller. Any ideas on this? I believe I should do calls with it? Any solutions perhaps?
This is just a common issue. I have both the pro's GEN 1 and AirPods 3's. I feel like I go back and forth with them. I only use them in the car when driving, or when in quiet environments like home office or areas without background noise. There are no perfect earbuds for calls- and Apple is still the leading company for them. I as well have issues from time to time with them not dictating Siri requests or notes.

The AirPods 3 may sound good in quiet places but it may amplify noise in crowded places making the Pros 2 better in noisy situations.
@@305dadecounty305 Thank you for your comment but I am using the Pros 2 and it is not that good in noisy places as well.
I noticed the pro2 sound more compressed because it’s eliminating that air conditioning sound you can hear in the other ones… but if they don’t cut out much more noise then that I would rather have the more natural sound of the pro1 and just deal with the noise in other ways…

I bought AirPods 3, so far so good bought them on amazon prime for 139 pounds. I don’t care about noise cancellation but the only problem i am having is AirPods coming off while running so now ill spend 5 pounds and but silicon for good fit

I have the AirPods 2 and 3. The 3’s are much better for my needs. They fit better, don’t fall out, and the battery lasts much longer. I love the Spatial Audio which makes them sound much better than the 2’s. I’m happy I upgraded from the 2’s to the 3’s.
@EricasTouch Are the airpod 3's good for workouts or do they fall out. Would they also work fine with a android phone?
@@ezm257 I have never used AirPods with an Android phone so I don’t know that. You would have to try them while working out. I only use them at home and I’m disabled and not able to do a typical workout.
Best noise canceling I have experienced
The Pro V2 are my favorite. I also had the Pixel Buds Pro but I'm fairly certain they're made by the same place that make Raycons.

@@ThisIsE I did with the Pixel but never noticed until a UA-cam add for the Raycons. They look identical in shape except the Pixel Buds have the gold contacts vertical and Raycons are horizontal.

I bought AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2 and A/B’d them for several weeks. I preferred the sound of the AirPods 3 every time. They have a vibrancy that doesn’t exist with in-ears and the high end just wasn’t really comparable on the Pro 2’s. Noise cancelling also isn’t that important to me in most situations.
I don’t really care about noise cancelling either. So if you were me and between the AirPods 3 and Pro’s 2, you’d pick the 3?
Ive been stuck in this dilemma for hours trying to figure out which one to pick. All i needed was the reassurance that the 3’s sounded just as good as the pros. Thank u for ur comment, ill be going with the 3’s.

Did you see better call quality on the GEN 1 pros or 3’s? The GEN 2 didn’t sound good compared to the previous models.
I find the quality very similar with the exception of the added benefit of NC on the Pro model
I have a pair of AirPods Pro. My left AirPod keeps crackling and almost interference noise which doesn’t stop until I wiggle it and even then it doesn’t fully go away. Why is this?
