For us old guys, pros make pretty darn good hearing aids too.
Nice I’ve the 2 of them I keep going back the Air pods 3 because they are lighter , but the pros sounds better as you said thanks 👍
Do the 3’s have BAD sound leakage or is it only at loud volumes

Nice review, but I was hoping you'd compare the mic and call quality as well. For me that's as important as listening to music.
I love both them. Usually I use the airpods 3 for calls, ma also I like the sound of AP3, for me better then Airpods Pro 1, but not better then Airpods Pro 2. I use AP Pro 2 for listen music and to exclude the world outside when I travel in train. The AP Pro 2 work fantastic, in particular with audiogram, performed by the app Mimi.
Had pro twos I don’t like the silicon, just ordered the third generation
I use gen 3 and I would say it's good even it doesn't have a silicon tip Im still able to hear good bass and good sound quality but I might choose pro cuz of the ANC and Transparency
Against everyone's advice, I advised my friend (not a fan of in-ear earbuds) to replace his Airpod 3 that he was complaining about (difficult to be in his bubble in a fairly noisy environment), with Airpod Pro 2, but to use the xs tip contrary to what the tip test will tell him.
Today, he is the happiest person.
Thanks to the xs tip, it doesn't have an occlusion problem, it has more bass in the sound 🔊, but most importantly, in noisy places, it can be in its bubble thanks to the ANC.
For those who will still have a slight occlusion despite the xs tip, just switch to transparency mode, it also gives a wider soundstage effect.
Ps: he paid $180 for his Airpod Pro 2, not $250.
Do you have any recommendations on where to find airpods for cheaper? (not completely worn out tho)

The AirPods 3 don’t hold a candle to the pro models

I have the 3 and one of my ear canals doesn’t hold on to the pod very securely. My next set will be with the tips.
but you should get the earpods pro 2 cuz the first of the pros got recalled for problems like lossing singal alot and hearing a static in the ear bud if the sound around you is too loud.
Well hope they make anc for Airpod 4. Still love the non plastic feeling with airpod 3 compared to the pro but the with ANC on pro, the choice is nice comfort feel with airpod3 with no ANC or the plastic rubber in your ear with ANC with the pros
I don’t think they are gonna be able to do that without the seal. I like the feel of the 3s better. Not a fan of the silicone in my ear. Luckily ANC in not something I like either. I need a bit of that background noise coming through.
@@jasona.2044 well hope one day perhaps they can just tapped off the silicon at the rounded side end of the airpod 4 for anc, well to bad, don’t really like the rubbery feel but that the trade off for using anc i guess😅
I just cannot use the Pro 2 for calls, it's just an unpleasant experience to hear yourself muted or artificial, I use 3 for calls or in quiet environments as nothing beats not needing to shove something into your ear and the Pro 2 for most other things (and my Max when I want to really enjoy some music, they are still way better than Pro 2 for immersive sound). You really need all 3 :)
Can't wait for Apple to release the AirPods 4 with USB-C Charging.
Same here. I still have My Airpods 2nd Gen. The Pros were never a good fit or me.
@@maribs87get foam tips, it’s much better as for usb c ..I just charge wireless so i don’t think that’s any reason to wait . That are great headphones

Pros are far better in every way. The silicone inserts are a must for not falling out, the sound quality is better, the noise cancelation is better ( to ignore the people at work that just won’t STFU ) and the better case design.
Unless the silicone tips hurt or annoy you. I would love all the pro features without those tips.

About the AirPods Pro second generation. I’m also annoyed by the chirping when charging, low battery, connecting and stuff like that, but I’ve disabled it in the settings and now it only makes the sound when I asked for it in the find my app since I misplaced them quite often.
Need the silicon tips, to seal, and so they don’t fall out.
I don’t like ear tips, they always hurt my ears. And I have no need for noise cancelling.
Plus, I wear one Air pod all day because my iPhone is my business phone.
I’m not a big music aficionado, but I am satisfied with the sound on the AirPods 3 when watching a movie.
People can’t tell I’m using AirPods. The sound quality is perfect for my use case.
well if the hurt then change the ear tip size cuz the pros 2 come with extra small ear tip.
How do you not find the speakers useful

@@kellyroyal9579 when the battery drops below 40% it will play a sound whenever you put the AirPods back into the case
Basically when the indicator light turn orange due to low battery on the case
I’ve been using iems for a very long time, I got the AirPods Pro 2 and I love them, but they took so long for me to get used to, the silicone tips feel so awkward and I use silicon tips with almost all my iems, am I the only one who thinks the way they go in your ear is really weird
I’m about to ditch the pro 2s and get the regular 3rd gens bc of this. The way the silicone tips go in your ear is really weird. I have to really force them in and if I do it wrong they click when I move my head. Sometimes they move a bit so even if I put them on correctly they still do it. It’s the most annoying thing ever. If I want anc I’m just gonna use my Sony headphones.

yes i have the transparency mode added with conversation boost is so good it's like a hearing aid
@@myotheracclol2248 cool! I use that when I’m not at work. I also saw an article about this a couple of years ago, I think it was on MacRumors. I’ll go find it again shortly.
They have the best transparency mode without a doubt but even then I don’t think it could even come close to substituting a hearing aid. Hearing aids amplify outside sounds whereas the AirPods make it the same volume that it would be if you didn’t have anything in. It’s supposed to make you feel and hear like you don’t have them in at all.
What about phone calls, zooms in the car at the cafe, haha😂
I have yet to purchase AirPods because of the concern I have that they will comfortably fit and never fall out. I stick with my PowerBeats with the ear hook for security. Anybody else have this issue?
same here , i recently went for purchasing but the fact some shorts were made about it falling out of ears made me rethink about it , as it would be an replacement for my cheap realme buds idk should i consider buying it or not i am still looking for its comfortability factor
I have both the AirPods Pro 2 and the AirPods 3. I love them both and I use them interchangeably on a daily basis. The Pro 2’s have better sound and the 3’s are more comfortable.
Litteraly my brother has airpods 3 and i have airpods pros so this is gonna make me know if mine is better or his

For me the original airpods are even more comfortable. AirPods 3 are a middle ground between sound quality + features vs. comfort for me.
I egree the shape of the airpods 2 was superior
I’m a musician and bought both the AirPods 3 and Pro 2 last year and A/B’d them for a week. To me the 3s sounded much better. It would be great if they were noise cancelling, but the high frequencies specifically sound much better to me on the 3s.

I bought it at the dollar store for $4 and it's the same and works great.
You really can't compare them, sound quality, comfort, control, everything is better from the Pro 2

Never choose AirPods 3. I have all the AirPods, and I actively avoid them. Just get the Pro 2 or if you don't want to seal the ear, get the AirPods gen 1 or 2.

@@roymatthewpingol9026 Dude is just salty about how the new 3rd Generation AirPods are made using the same Audio Chipsets, are identical apart from the silicone and cost about half the price of the 2nd Gen AirPod Pro’s so he cant brag about audio quality being better for clout anymore 😂
