What an impressive you man Dave is. In this emotional and challenging situation, he was able to set firm and appropriate boundaries. "I still like you ... I don't love you." It seems he understands the universal truth that you can not be in a healthy adult relationship when the one you love is an active alcoholic. You are admired and loved by so many people and blessed with many unique gifts, and impressively you are a hard worker. By isolating yourself in your bronco, you are in mortal danger. You are living with the only person in the world that wants to hurt or kill you. Sadly for most, there are no words that others can say that will motivate us to take the steps needed to live a sober life. Only the person with the substance use disorder can make the decision that enough is enough. With sobriety, your life possibilities are virtually endless. What to say that will give you the comfort you need. Sigh and a prayer ... I could speculate about why he said he loves you, visited his sister, drove to see you and then said he only likes you. Looking for good. He likes you. Which means at least in part he has forgiven you. We might love someone we can’t forgive but we don’t like them. His mom is dying so he is hanging onto the family he has. His sister is probably a real need he has right now. Not only her love but her presence. He might be afraid her love won’t be unconditional and he just can’t bear loosing another relative. He might know she will never forgive you so he can’t choose. It’s good you helped him not have to. Your final love gift to him. So what do I pray for you? That you hang on to what was beautiful and great with Dave. That you resist letting your heart harden. That you cry when you need to and you laugh, look up and look forward when you can. That you continue to be “Unstoppable” and that you take time for your Jesus and His never failing love for you. When He forgives, our sins are wiped away, never to be remembered again. And that you stay strong and not be misled or taken advantage of while you make your way out of this current weak state. Maybe Morgan, you have to finish your journey for you. So much still more to do, so much to see, so much of you to work through. I just did a 4 week journey covering 12 states, and it’s been quiet, and internal and soul searching. You still have some states to fill, people to meet, experiences to help you figure it all out. Dave was there at a time where you needed to learn somethings about you. Take the lessons, there is so much more to learn and embrace. It’s about you. All you. Take care of you.

My heart aches for you. It aches for Dave. He is a good man, he was good to you & for you. You were a better person with him, your better self. I've never seen you so happy & at peace. Is it really worth whatever you think you gained for what you lost? My biggest regret in life (& I have plenty) was leaving my husband. I thought I wanted more/different in life. He reminded me of your Dave. He was a good soul & loved me purely & deeply. I have been loved many times, but never like that. He is no longer alive, so no hope there. If you truly want a life with Dave, make it; but don't go back if you're only going to hurt him again. He deserves better than that. 💖
I disagree. She wasn’t and isn’t ready for this. She is an addict who hasn’t taken her sobriety serious long enough to not be a dumpster fire for someone else. She has to care enough for both of them to stop this. If she truly loves him, she will leave him alone until she is more competent in her own sobriety. I was born to alcoholics. I married one. They were also cluster B. They damaged me in ways in which I am working to recover, yet the trauma is severe enough that I probably never will.

My reality is drinking while being casual & somewhat fun mysteriously morphed into flashbacks of last nights mistakes, arguments, fights, hazy dreams of mishaps, and gathering the strength to peek out the window to see if the vehicle was outside then wandering outside slowly to see if all 4 sides were the same as yesterday morning. I finally tried not consuming spirits for a while & decided it was better for everyone including myself. In many respects even tho I continue to say no I am not an Alky but I choose not to consume spirits for the past decade or so. Life may not always seem easier but the mornings of trying to remember or having to be reminded of what transpired finally went away and never were missed. Much happiness & many well wishes to you and your critters in life's journey's.

Love can be a difficult thing to manage on it's own. I can see in you that you're a good woman who may have come upon some realizations about yourself. Loving the rack on the Bronco at 1:40 Somewhere in Ephesians its mentioned how the tounge can be a weapon. After we say something hurtful we are required by GOD to apologize. It is also written that the person receiving the apology does not have to accept. It is that person's decision. At that point the burden of the words said are no longer on you. Its when the person on the other end does not fully accept the apology, which is their right and choice...Thats when the real pain comes in. Imagine when someone fully forgives you when we did wrong...makes us happy and relieved. Before you know it we may forget about those words in a short time. However, the other way around...well it sucks and shitty is how it feels. Lesson learned and i know im not the first to say that but what im trying to do is put it all in a structured way with context. Also Love Is... Giving All of yourself to another expecting Nothing in return
Found you a couple days ago and started binge watching because Ive always liked those broncos and beautiful woman. I feel the emotion in ur videos and it makes me afraid to even think about breaking up the family my little 4 year old girl has already grown to love. I'll always love her mom just because of the gift of family she's given me even if I'm not always the happiest I hope I never lose them. I hope someday I can travel and explore as you have. For now I can only hunt, fish and explore the woods of washington

It's going to start being cold at night here. There are some free camping areas in west yellowstone. I don't know if you want to see the tetons while you are there. If you are going to visit glacier there are limited free camping areas here. The east side of glacier is closed but the west side is open.

After we say something hurtful we are required by GOD to apologize. It is also written that the person receiving the apology does not have to accept. It is that person's decision. At that point the burden of the words said are no longer on you. Its when the person on the other end does not fully accept the apology, which is their right and choice...Thats when the real pain comes in. Imagine when someone fully forgives you when we did wrong...makes us happy and relieved. Before you know it we may forget about those words in a short time. However, the other way around...well it sucks and shitty is how it feels. Lesson learned and i know im not the first to say that but what im trying to do is put it all in a structured way with context.

I feel the emotion in ur videos and it makes me afraid to even think about breaking up the family my little 4 year old girl has already grown to love. What a awesome gift you received "LOVE" both giving & receiving. Learning from "LOVE" & being loved is hard for those who have lived with without love before. Its strange, odd, scary ect... It's going to start being cold at night here. There are some free camping areas in west yellowstone. I don't know if you want to see the tetons while you are there. If you are going to visit glacier there are limited free camping areas here. The east side of glacier is closed but the west side is open.

We were at devils tower and in the black hills the same time you were (108 degrees in the badlands when I stopped with my dogs in my truck!) This is an awesome journey, if you ever come back through Wisconsin you have a place to stay on a farm or in town 😃. Good luck and safe travels
