Thank you for this video! So easy to follow and very thorough. Took about 15 minutes to replace my mirror; something I never thought I could do on my own!

Just did this repair using the A1 part. It was easier than I thought it'd be thanks to the great video. The A1 part works as well as the OEM part. My research showed their price was good. There are very minor differences if you look closely but none that matter. I was a little concerned that I'd order the wrong model, heater vs. non-heater. I have the heater type. I took the old one apart and could see the heater pattern on the back of the mirror glass. Also the extra pins on the connector or the number of wires tells you which one you've got (I think it was 5 or 6 vs. only 3 without the heater). Another option is to check the owner's manual that came with the car. I've had the car for 9 years and didn't even know the mirrors were heated. I've got a charcoal colored car and by luck the color matched well.
Great video, however the step involving the removal of the trim around the window/door lock control is redundant. The under lying plug could be disconnected after removal of the door panel.
So, I got the fact that you swapped the cover, but I need to maintenance the mechanism as well as the swivel. My swivel was stuck because the car was from the northern half of the continent and I am Southwest. Anyway, it stuck and i did not make a narrow clearance, so the bezel cracked and the mirror splintered. I keep spraying the replacement I got in the 'yard with silicon spray, and, yet, there is no difference? I suppose there is grime and fume condensation or anything. Maybe I steam clean it and let it set for a few days before installation?
Very good video , yeah need a 10mml you can get all the stuff you need for tops 30$ then the mirror another 50$ saves yeah time and money if yeah do it your self so easy and I’m only 17 fixed my moms car
Thank you for the question. The pins are related to the mirror options your original mirrors have. When purchasing mirrors, the options need to be a 100% match to your OE mirror options to fit and function correctly. If you know your OE mirror options, we can take a look for you. +Harish Joon
Thank you for this video. On a side note, this is such a bad design. I'm no engineer, but it would have been so much easier if the wiring could have been disconnectable from inside the mirror instead of behind the door panel. Then all you would have to do is remove the back side of the mirror to unplug, saving all the work in getting the door panel off. Maybe I'm being too critical. Too much time on my hands these days....
these DIY video's are a boon for us single moms, who are always strapped for cash, and always get taken for a ride, being a woman(No offense to all feminists). Someone broke my side mirror in a parking lot, after seeing how much this would jack up my premium, I want to attempt. to do this on my own--This weekend, with the parts I ordered from you guys($64) I should be able to do this by myself, thanks to this video. :)

At 2:38 I did break some! A little more instruction about actually locating each fastener would have been better. Otherwise a great helpful video.
I think the video cut off before he reinstalled the bottom light on the door
