- Pikmin 4 has been out for a good while, so let's see what the community is doing so far on Twitter. Some may have glitches, some dandori issues or just straight up modding the game there and there. Still has some nice reactions from people who are a fan of the series for years or just new to the series itself.
Hope you do all enjoy this nice compilation of the Pikmin 4 experience here. Might do a Part 2 if this gets enough traction.
Please don't harass or make fun of anyone in this video. A lot of new people in here are their first time playing this game.

my favorite part is at 3:22 where you can just tell the player is too shocked to register what just happened. no words were spoken but you can just imagine the sigh being let out. that moment of resignation and defeat

To be fair the gimmick for that enemy is that you target its gold instead if what you want to target.
I had no idea you could do that what? I 100% the game without knowing that lol.

the game doesnt really tutorialize it very well. there's no part in the story where it forces you to change targets with ZR, i only knew it would keep you on the same target if you pressed it once for most of the game

i think the game is trying to show the unreal engines solid objects, removing comprehension of sight and textures. Notice the water itself did not shine red, but the floor underneath did.
once during my first playthrough of the game i accidently used the charging horn when trying to find out the controls and lost all my pikmin in a cave
That seems impossible with the amount of tutorials they give you

Interesting that my 100% playthrough was entirely devoid of glitches. I guess these are decently rare. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for dandori issues…
I just had a moment where, in Plunder Palace, my Pikmin could _not_ get the Porquillion corpse off its platform.

Also love the captain desparately swimming to try and catch up. Think we might have the next Michael Phelps on our hands there!

I have to wonder what in the world these people are doing to encounter these bugs and glitches because I’ve only ever encountered one bug, and that was the nectar stunlock.
I'd argue that's not even really a bug
Emulator I’d imagine. I’ve played on console and emulator and some of the glitches, like the red flashing one, are a thing that happens on emulator
@@tnzwelk "Backup" copies that are running on real hardware can have issues too if not set up correctly. Don't ask me how I know this

1:30 same thing happened to me except the dude was in stun, when he recovered, it shook off every pikmin in the air and caused the onion to drop off the edge.
Did the onion get teleported back tough or did it just vanish?
My favorite glitch I've encountered in the game so far was when I managed to get the Waterwraith stuck on the exit hole of the 3rd sublevel of Engulfed Castle
Felt very nice to haul the remaining treasures unopposed while it just sat there like an idiot :>

One time my sister did something which made oatchi completely stop animating or responding to the whistle or any commands and you could go push him around and swap tk him but he just would not move, idk what causedit but it had something to do with when he transports gold nuggets in a cave, also had the screen go completely black one time after i hit skip on the water raith cutscene which was fun
The super fast captain thing isn't really a glitch, it's just dumb how they can only move that fast when having to catch up to Oatchi.

Pikmin 2 - Flying Bulbear
This is a glitch when the game physics engine just goes out of its way and starts breaking. The glitch has to do with the physics engine going faulty and this one specific Spotty Bulbear. Once the physics stary to break, the glitch happens off-screen, and the Spotty Bulbear will start to moonwalk, and pursue the player. I've seen the glitch in a video only once.

I once got a glitch where if you go through a warp hole (or whatever it’s called) while carrying a puzzle piece (could work with other things) and have one other puzzle piece lying at the exit of the warp hole (by using oatchi and press b at the exact moment you can press b) when you warp to the exit you drop the piece you’re carrying and pick up the one already lying on the ground.
My guess is that the treasure is now in the “air” and makes oatchi unable to carry it, thus making it grab the treasure under it.
Btw i was only using oatchi (hero’s hideout) (I didn’t want to attack moss the whole time so I didn’t use any pikmin)
Have a clip of it too (saved on Switch but don’t know how to post that) (also don’t really care much about it cuz it really doesn’t matter) (not like theres much if any time loss to it)

I wonder what’s the max for every single number in this game (like Pikmin count Sparklium and ect.)
Pikmin is 9999 of every color (good luck getting that much with how nothing respawns on the overworld), 999 of every Pack item, and I imagine 99999 Sparklium.
@@dalejhunter1actually, 9999 pikmin ISNT the max! That’s just what it shows in the onion menu, if you go past this limit, and check Status Report, it’ll be higher then 9999.

That boss was a nightmare for me. I should've used a shock admitter to stun it...
In my second pikmin 4 run I sent the blue pikmin get the wogpolland he went to the onion but did no drop the wogpoll he just continued sliding to the end of the map
10:45- no, I don't believe so. The game treats Pikpik Carrots like they do Pikmin, with collision, throw physics, and weight. It's a little feature that can be discovered if you like to search. The Pikpik Carrots even crush Albino and Dwarf Bulborbs!

I found this glitch randomly, I found out if you blow yourself up next a ledge, the glow pikmin will stop working, from what I now, it works well with the cave with Man at Legs
Oh yeah, you need the glow pikmin to die AND fall off a ledge for this to work
I won't say anymore but they break when you mount oatchi

For the purple onion you can bonk the onion down, the main goal is to get 10 purple pikmin for the final gate. Also max carry doggo helps alot.
in heros hideaway there was a red pikmin that glitched under the ground near the base and i couldnt call it back so i had to lose one red pikmin that day, yeah thats the only glitch i have encountered in pikmin 4 yet, if i encounter another glitch i will edit this if i remember

How did chage yellow Pikmin in to sponbob
This is not a bad idea for a later game Pikmin ability 5:42 to tell you the truth . Would be really cool for the next game to have a new Pikmin with the ability to instantly teleport whatever you tell them to take back to the ship for you and instantly teleport materials to a bridge and and start building it for you. Maybe that could a reason to introduce bright "Orange Utility" type Pikmin to the game.
That’s make the game too easy though, defeats the whole purpose of transporting, oatchi, and just the fun of it.
I know one glitch where in the mud pit on one of the sublevels it's said I had missed one treasure but after checking the treasure catalog it said I had em all so I got stuck at 99% if anyone knows how to fix it I would be glad to know how
