- I have loved fishing all of my life and being able to take my children fishing on our own boat is priceless to me. My son and I head out early and fish off the coastline in Cornwall and catch loads of fish. Proud dad and happy memories made. In challenging conditions we catch some wonderful fish and take some home for food.

It doesn't matter, if you catch anything John, as long as James does, I started my pair off on float fishing for mackerel, off the rocks, and this one day, I was so busy, I didn't touch my rod, for the first couple of hours, best Father, kids day ever 🤓
That happens most days when I take Hannah and James out. Yet I still get a ribbing for catching the least number of fish 🤣🤷🏻♂️
If fishing sessions like this don't inspire people to go sea fishing nothing will, truly brilliant and the relationship between father and son is epic.
If you have to explain things like this to people, they wouldn’t get it even when you did.
John - It's a shame you could not deploy a thrown cast net through that pilchard fish cloud for bait. Your boat may not have been large enough to handle their weight! Please have a Happy New Year and keep the videos coming our way.
Should I send James a poncho liner to help stay warm on those blustery winter boat days? I'll need your address if so.

I got to do this maybe twice a year ( and the catch and cook) with my dad at Flamborough. And it's the best memories with my old man ! James is such a lucky lad!

I'm not at all surprised James nodded off; between the waves rocking him to sleep, the hot water bottle making him feel all warm and snuggly, and him being much too little for coffee (I love tea, myself, but sometimes a cuppa just doesn't cut it 😅), Morpheus hooked and landed him~🎣😴😆 LOL, he's gonna be giggling over that tuna that stole his fish for ages! 😂

Very much enjoyed the under water footage, great it gave a moving panoramic view of those passing shoals..
That board you made for your pots and filleting/rigging up has worked really well apart from a few expected scuffs it's proved a valuable bit of kit..
Aye mate, it was built to be sacrificial. To take the damage instead of the boat. In that regard it has been brilliant.
I can see that from all the scuffs but I imagine it was originally just for the pots but came in handy especially when you're rigging up for those skate HUGE baits
