Lovely content once again. This is the city where I spent my 1st 10 years. My dad was the last Manager of the Kingsway Department Store at the corner of Beach Road and Ahmadu Bello Way before they closed down. @bigwillz, let me blow your mind with some trivia, do you realise that the bridge you crossed at 11:12 has River Kaduna flowing beneath it. River Kaduna has its source just behind the NASCO complex.
Remember being driven to Kano from Kaduna to pick someone up from the airport. This would’ve been around 1972 and the car was a brand new Rover 2000! We went through Jos and Zaria but didn’t stop; I wish we had. Kano was like a different world: camels being driven in the roads and very dusty as it’s on the edge of the Sahara. I live in Australia now and, thanks to Covid will be travelling the country instead of holiday in abroad! 😳Every cloud.
Point of corrections, there is another route from Maramba Jaama you go to North East through Barkin-Ladi Pankshin, Kanke route and another Mangu Lere route as well
19:30 Old Airport Junction, lol leads to old international airport in Jos which is now a Nigerian Airforce Base. So happy to see these places again. Thank you for the video.
@@moham.279 Not sure if the military still uses the colonial international airport but the runway and other airport things are still there enclosed in the military compound.
its sad you guys were not giving full descriptions of the areas you drove by. Its not just a long drive through jos but where and where you are, and the guy sitting with you claiming to be Jos breed don't even know anything about the town...mtsheew
