    Great fits right there, Sir!
    From the map, one could see that down south the states are not too far from each other as the distances are close!

    How can they divert traffic to the opposing travel lanes without informing the opposing drivers that their travel lanes are being shared? Why do they allow people to trade along the highway? Is access into Nigerian highways not controlled? The trailers are too heavy for the pavement which is under designed. Nigeria need to develop railroads to convey goods. The road sub grade was not well prepared resulting in the alligator cracks that you talked about. Also, cracks that developed on the pavement should be filled with bitumen to prevent infiltration of water into the sub grade that will degrade the sub grade.

    I think that road was done by Dantata construction company some years ago they probably did a shody and low quality job thats the reason the roads are buckling .Julius Berger would have done a better and high quality road work. Btw that road should have toll gates only for trailers because they are damaging the road with their heavy transport and the money realised from the trailer toll gates should be used to maintain the road.

    Could you please advise which route is better when traveling to Ilorin by road: the Abuja-Lokoja route or the Abuja-Minna-Bida route?

    • @Bigwillz
      @Bigwillz  Місяць тому

      I honestly have no idea as I've not traveled either route to Ilorin. One thing for sure is the Minna - Bida road as of last year when I traveled that route, it was one of the worst roads in the country. I think going through lokoja is not bad since I've traveled up to Ekiti via this route.

    The way truckers are messing up our roads is alarming. I don't know why our leaders aren't addressing it. There should be trailers parks provided by government in every city and the trailers make to pay little money to use them. There is just something wrong with us in moving forward. No leader has a vision for this country in any way. It is so annoying. I am not happy with that.

    • @Bigwillz
      @Bigwillz  Місяць тому +4

      Our leaders like you said have no idea on how to move us forward. They don't.

  • @user-yz8jj2gu7h
    @user-yz8jj2gu7h Місяць тому +1

    It is dangerous for the trailers to park along the highway. Someone should build trailer/truck stops for them to park, rest, and purchase fuel. Why do people dump garbage along the highway? Don’t they have solid waste disposal facilities? How do they expect visitors to ever visit a place that dirty? Where is the health department officials?

    • @Bigwillz

      Very valid questions.

    Nice one! It's a shame,watching Nigeria is like watching a 10th world nation,no organisation,no planning,no vision.Abuja to lokoja a road leading to Nigeria capital city should be nothing less than 8 lanes.Why is it so difficult for federal government to banned truckings from parking indiscriminately by roadside?They need to build trailers parks at strstegic places,build market hall and ban shanty shops as well..What is ministry of works actually doing?Dave umahi is been going round and saying a lot but l cant see any improvement on ground.Apata is rock translated as peter in the bible.The original word in the bible is Apata.Thank you.

    • @Bigwillz
      @Bigwillz  Місяць тому +2

      @suntanglory, you've said so much. And everything you've said is true. The government is doing nothing to improve anything. You will think with the number of years we've had democratic government we should have seen some improvements.
      Thank you for watching and contributing. Very much appreciated 🙏 🙏 💕 💕
