This interview got better and better as it went along. I want those books! Although I'm from a younger generation, I sooooooooo agree that the classics were FAR BETTER than most recent content.

This early part of the interview, I can relate to. There was a period, right before I wrote "FERGUSON" when my son was watching the original film "12 Angry Men", as I begin to watch it with him, I found myself Intrigued by the story. I noticed how relative the narrative was with what was going on with the influx of young Black males being killed by law enforcement, and how personal prejudice lead the jurors to overlook facts in the case, just like "12 Angry Men" it inspired me to write "FERGUSON."
Long story short, inspiration is all around us, if we pay attention. It's very interesting how his journey was birthed the same way.
Steven did miracles with the editing and as usual, you were flawless with your tactful approach to asking the right questions Harvey ❤️

Harvey, this was a very compelling, deeply moving and fascinating interview. I didn't know about Geoffrey Mark and I was so impressed with soulful honesty, vast knowledge of entertainment history, and his deep integrity. I especially enjoy, Harvey, your interviews with gay men, in the entertainment industry. You are not only preserving entertainment history, but gay history, as well.

What a beautiful and very kind thing to say! Thank you SO MUCH. I hope you’ll check out my other interviews with renowned gay men: Ray Klausen, Lee Wind, Jerry Mitchell, Randal Kleiser, Larry Fulton and many more!!

@harveybrowstone - I don't think that there is a book written about Lucille Ball that I don't own, going back to the first one ever bought in 1980, when I was 12 years old, "Loving Lucy" by Bart Andrews. When Geoffrey's book. "The Lucy Book" came out, I couldn't put it down and continue to refer to it whenever a question about a TV appearance comes to mind. You know that I am a big fan of yours Harvey, this is another great interview. I was enthralled listening to Geoffrey talk about not just our Lucy, but Merman, and Ella both of which I love.
I've watched the interview 3 times, but really I'm not obsessed😂 LOL.

I couldn’t agree more about Geoffrey’s book “The Lucy Book”. It’s the definitive reference book about our beloved Lucille Ball. Geoffrey is such a colorful personality, and was a real pleasure to interview. Thank you so much for your loyalty and support of our show. I have the most wonderful viewers in the world!!❤️

Mr. Brownstone is a wonderful interviewer. I've been very impressed with his work. But I'm sorry, I've met Geoffrey Mark and have spoken to him at length. The man is an absolute pathological liar and completely fabricates or greatly embellishes stories. I caught him in several lies over the course of a few hours in Palm Springs. I do not trust a word of this interview about his "career", and I am disappointed that the is given any kind of a platform to spew his lies.

@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 you are wonderful. Truly, the way you prepare, the questions you ask, the way you let people answer a question. Really first rate. I’m disappointed in the guest, yes, but not you.

Thank you so much for your very kind words of support. As far as my guests go, all I can say is that I always do the best I can with what I’m given. I can also say that Geoffrey Mark’s books are first rate, especially his Lucy and Ella books.
