You are absolutely frickin right. I went to a PT for my sciatica problem and of course i left with a handful of exercises. And of course i diligently followed to a tee.......and 5 months later, worse symptoms than when i started. After some time i realized it was the exercises that were aggravating not only my sciatic nerve but my piriformis muscle as well. I stopped doing them, went to my chiropractor for adjustments and body balancing. I started to see improvements after that. You just explained why!!
HI, I have had sciatica for the last 5 months. I had a hydrodissection done on May 17th and a steriod injection done 2 weeks ago. My numbness in my foot is getting better and my sciatic nerve does not hurt as much as it did when I first started, so do you think that I am slowly healing? Thank you
just found this video its 5/29 I have been off work for 3 weeks Iam a 61 year old male that woke up 1 morning and could not get out of bed. I do pick up heavy objects at work pain started in my lower back as that went away I started getting like lightening bolts down left thigh its terrible leg is numb cant walk when i stand straight up. Went to my doctor and he give me prescriptions that's not doing anything at all. I feel depressed angry. I have never had back problems before this.30 years ago i got in a motorcycle wreck and broke my left tibia and fibula and have a rod in my lower left leg.so not really sure what to do at this point thanks.

Is trying to walk a short while each day very beneficial when suffering with sciatica?
The RIGHT movements and motions are lotion for our bodies. IF it is not painful, then yes, walk as you can.. do not push through pain...
Yes change

Nerve flossing is typically very painful!! when working your painful side, you can actually aggravate further
No
Physical therapy made my symptoms worse
The wrong PT will do that and I am sorry you had that experience
