- Quick video on how I removed rear camber shim plates to fix positive camber. On passenger side, I just unbolted 2 bolts that hold upper control arm inside to the frame, while hanging the hub assembly with straps and a floor jack, that was a bit easier. Definitely helps having extra person to get the 8 bracket bolts off and on.
Damn i have the evo too just need a humvee now like you
Great informative video . What kind of half shaft is that?
CV Axle is from ebay new 90-110 bucks, I had to do 3 on mine.
How's it doing with the shims out? Mine still has the positive camber and I think it's causing the tires to wear and vibrate. Basically since they're always trying to make an "outboard" turn, and are forced back straight. Make sense? I'm going to air bag the whole thing soon so I can have a soft ride and large cargo capacity, so maybe that's the time to take the shims out. I suppose the camber could be remedied by lowering it a bit since ride height will be adjustable with the air bags, but I think since I have the 40s on it, it will do better with the "correct" camber setting taking place at the higher ride height. great video!
Hey new subscriber here, it is hard to get your humvee street legal in Washington state? I’m in Washington state as well.
Hey thanks for the sub, I didn’t have any issues registering it in WA. Dmv might ask for something that has weight on it. So I took mine to a truck stop put it on scales and got a print out. $14 bucks.
