Pretty good! Also great idea redoing the steering components. I did the same upgrade on my truck myself recently. The pitman and idler arms were worn on mine as well, replaced them , steering is much more precise now. There is alot more "float" though at higher speeds on the taller wheels. Takes a little getting used in to. Some awesome looking wheels/rims combo.
Looks great!! Can you give a list of the exact parts used for this kit and where to get them, including pitman and idler arms? As well as the wheel brand, dimensions, offset and tire size. Thanks!
Looks great. I would love to run 40. We do a lot of off road in tight trails. As is I rub the roof and windshield into limbs. I can’t really go higher. So it is a catch 22.
was there a specific reason you went with the 39"' vs. 40"' Mud Hogs? Both are 13.50's. They are almost the same cost. I'm getting ready to order mine and was curious about that?
I just picked up M1123 And I was thinking about putting the same springs on there, how do you like the ride and do you think you put too much angle on the axle shaft itself. Is there anyway you can get a couple of pictures of the angle because I can’t find any. Thanks
I just bought an M998 and wanted to put 40s on it but I’m not a big fan of body lifts. I like the spring lift option but have you had any problems with anything as a result of doing a suspension lift rather than a body lift?
Haven’t had any problems, in fact it drives a lot smoother with the new springs. Very happy with them. Just be sure to upgrade the steering components that I talked about to better handle the 40” tires.
leave it factory height the HMMWV clearance is all under the vehicle 18" with factory tires and suspension. You will mess up the balance and mobility of the HMMWV putting a lift on it and the 40" tires will destroy the drivetrain.
Depends on the tire, but most likely. The stock 37 Humvee tires measured like a 35” at best. These 39s are a true 39”, as big as most 40” tires measure. So lifting for me was a must without doing a lot of trimming.
The truck looks awesome. Did you have any issues with the hub bore ? On the spec it shows 122mm and the humvee are 125mm I’m not sure if the 3mm will make a difference.
Was getting a HMMWV a good investment? I’m looking to buy a M1123 but I keep getting told it’s a bad investment and a waste of money ?? I just want it as a toy, maybe taking it to the beach a few times a yr but manly just a weekend cruiser.

Love the new look!
Looks perfect on those big tires. Nice work!!
Thanks!
What’s wheel and tire set up I’m ready digging the look of your rig .
Coming soon .. karet vulkanisir khusus trek jalan ton..
Where there any other modification that had to be done or would recommend?
Not suspension wise, I’ve done a lot of other things to it tho.
That’s so sick!!!
Come take it for a spin!
Nice one.
Where can I find those 4inch higher springs?
Thank you
They’re from a company called Military Truck Works. I linked them in the description of the video.
did you changed the shocks for the 4 inch spring? Or will the oem ones work without any issues?
I just changed the springs (and the steering components that I mentioned) and haven’t had any issues.
What kind of rhino rims are they? Thanks
Arsenal!
Did you have to adjust your TCM when you put on the 40s
Nope
Love the content
Thanks!
Hummer power!
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Nice build. What shop did you take it to,
Thanks! Salty Gears Offroad in Salt Lake City.
Pretty good!
Thanks!
Hey bud, how smooth of a ride is it now? and can you hook me up with all the part#'s you used?
It’s a really smooth ride now, I really enjoy it. Send me an email and I’ll send you links to all the parts I used. raptorsofinsta@gmail.com

Looks awesome... Do you remember whether it was new HUMVEE pitman and idler arms or after market?
I got them from Hummer Parts Guy, which are all genuine parts. Whether they were new or refurbished I honestly don’t know, but they looked brand new.

What’s the specifics on the wheels? What backspacing do you pick to get closest to stock?
Here's the specs on the wheels! BLACK RHINO ARSENAL 20X9.5 8/165 ET-18 CB122.1 TEXTURED MATTE BLACK
@@raptorsofinsta awesome, so -18cm is the offset?
@@raptorsofinsta I guess I don’t get the wheels bc stock they are +50 offset with 7” backspacing
Are those the stock rims? I just bought a hummer H1 1996, I like this setup! Where can I get that lift kit?
They’re not stock, they’re Black Rhino. If you’ll send me an email I can send you over all the build details and links. raptorsofinsta@gmail.com.
What is the offset of those new wheels?
These Black Rhino wheels have a -18 offset.
Since it’s only a slight bigger than the 37s . Is it a must to lift it?

Thanks. No issues that I’m aware of.

It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve enjoyed owning it! Just listed it for sale if you’re looking.
Nice video! How is the ride quality after installing the springs? I was wondering about buying these myself🤔
The ride quality is noticeably smoother, I would recommend them for sure!
@@raptorsofinsta Thanks for answering so fast👍🏻 I would for sure consider them, only negative is I am in North of Europe🙄
4" lift?! How long b4 the CVs blew apart? 50 miles? 😅
Haha. I drove it over 1k miles no issues. Don't own it anymore tho!
And what is all that for ...to run to Dollar General & back in once was a frontline combat HMMWV???🙄
Yes
😁👍@@raptorsofinsta
A non-body lift.
Correct
