The part that ALWAYS gets me is when DeeDee says "Get your hands off me" and NO ONE is actually near her at that point 😂😂😂😂
I'm crying 😭 😂😂
She knew it was coming
That was her guardian angel trying to stop her
😂😂😂😂
Phil's look after she says that also always sends me!! Haha!!
“Take your hands off me” (hitting an imaginary person) 🤣🤣
Someday I wanna be invited to such a wedding
If that happens, I really hope you're only a distant relative or don't have a close relationship with the groom or bride or else you won't be able to enjoy it.
Me too
@@kezia-lemonthorne2507 lol
@@kezia-lemonthorne2507haha true but it looked like Claire was enjoying at first 🤣
@99 lets hope not
To bad Ted Mosby wasn't there. He would have told Jay that you don't never ever bring an ex to a marriage
I think this wedding was before that Ted.
Also he would've tried to make a toast and cried
I do agree though,
No matter how good your relationship are or your feelings are, I think the best attitude is to never invite or come to your ex wedding.
You could still congratulate them if you trully feel happy for them, but should never come to the wedding.
I have been to a wedding where this did work out well, primarily because there were young children involved and it was felt the mom should be there with her daughter.
@@danielbalderas9796 true because he was happy for anyone he knows getting married
Anyone else find it kind of funny and sad that while DeDe was the one who left Jay she’s the one who acts like the person who was dumped
Ex wife: " I am very happy for them"
No ex wife is happy when their ex husband gets married before them
I was, it gave him less time to keep bothering me
Nice
Much less when it was the ex wife who asked for divorce but he end up marrying again with a top model
I have to disagree because my mom was fine with my dad getting remarried before her. She said that he is his new wife’s problem now.
Ha! Ha! Ha!
“What? Did you take your Claire pill??” Always gets me😭
Ok so for anyone who didn’t understand what Gloria said at the end (I couldn’t at first for some reason usually I can understand her with her accent) she said “during the vows to my first husband, drug dealers burst in and assassinated the judge”
I had to listen to her twice before I was able to figure out what she said.
Damn. What the hell. The judge.
…yikes
Maybe you think she's exaggerating, but it can definitely happen.
Respect for Jay. He stuck it out in an unhappy marriage until his kids were out of the house.
Yeah loveless marriages sound miserable.. plus its not a healthy dynamic for kids too😒
& all it did was mess them up
Right, and he did it because he knew if he left he wouldn’t be able to see his kids again
Dede technically left Jay, first...to 'find herself'.
Oo really! Those are just excuses made by men so that they can get themselves a young wife disregarding the one who has been through sickness and health with them. Disgusting
I remembered this scene. Dee Dee was nuts! 😂😂
It's DeDe*
It’s dodol
Stop using the slur ''nuts''
"I'm Gloria, keeeees me, keeeees me"😅
Hah, hah, love that the drummer did the "boom-tish" after Dee-Dee's joke!!!
At Glorias first wedding someone took out the judge at this wedding Dede managed to take out the cake 😂 Shelley long was the best part of this episode
"He couldn't wait 10 mins to runoff with Charo." 🤣🤣🤣
what's a charro? like the mexican ?
@@Fever._Dream 😂 no, she’s an actress from the Love Boat. It was a show in the 70s. Her character was a little flirty. She’s hispanic but I can’t remember which country.
She’s really funny & talented. I guess Dee Dee was comparing her & Gloria based on looks.
@@Fever._Dream actually, Dee Dee said "Charo", short for "Rosario", a TV actress from the 70's; "charro" (with two r) is another thing, a Mexican horseman typically dressed in an elaborately decorated outfit
@@penbunk it is with one R lol.
I forgot and spelled it with 2 instead
@@Queenmariacorvinus I love her and she still look good even till this day.
I never realized that Phil laughs off Claire’s sexual harassment in this scene… huh, weird
Also, his guilty chuckle after "horny Colombians" was off-key...
first seasons he was a bit mean towards her.
It's comedy fiction
First season, he was kinda slimy. Thank God they wrote that out
@@Saukingalpha yes, I know that it is a sitcom. Did you want to add anything else?
1:26 That drum sound. 😂😂
First rule never ever invite your ex to your wedding it will never end well 🤦♀️
Guess they didn't watch How I met your mother
yeah when dr.strange visited Chritine's wedding an alien came out of nowhere
@@rovanajean9550techllay, that’s not strange’s fault
@@Riley-id5ni Wanda is just chilling 😂
0:29 Cam God bless you
I wonder how many takes they did that in because I would of been on the floor!! 😂😂😂
Pretty sure that's why people say do not invite your ex to your wedding 😅
I love how the thumbnail looks like Mitchell is being thrown out
For some reason I was expecting Katey Sagal. I think that would have been funnier.
“Did you miss me?” “With every bullet so far”
Especially with her red hair, she would have been perfect
May have been to on the nose.
Also Peg was actually funny, where I think the point of DeDe was to be infuriating. It wouldn’t really have the same effect.
Way to downplay the actress... Shelly was great here.
When Claire tried to get up I straight up DIED
"""""Oh relax, take a Claire pill""""" epic writing
Never invite an Ex to your wedding ever
Oh my God this was funny. Good one cam. Nanna is really strong. I yiyiyi yi.
1:37 Phil’s face. Hahaha
It's amazing how much DeeDee looks like an older Claire.
For anyone who doesn't know, but she acted that way because all of the family members actually GAVE HER 3-4 drinks each.. not exactly her fault tho if u look at it from this angle..
Oh damn when was that mentioned, what did they expect at that point lol?
@@MistressAudio i believe season 11 but I'm really not sure but it does come in the later seasons
@@MistressAudio in season 10 in a episode call 10 years later
Lmao, it's not like they FORCED her to drink it all???
@@MistressAudio it was from the episode called 10 years that focus on Jay and Gloria's 10th wedding anniversary. It was revealed that Mitchell, Claire, and Phil gave Deedee 3 to 4 drinks to "help her" which they cause the incident. DeeDee was drunk the entire time at the wedding.
She even did the perfect Gloria Impression 🤣🤣
No, she didn't, she did a caricature - and that was the point of the joke
Shelley Long is a fucking gem 😂❤️
I ll never forget the part where dede mentions her date for wedding is young and healthy. I mean it doesnt matter if she was lying about having a date or not, or if the guy probably existed or not and if he existed but most likely dumped her before the wedding after dede explained to him who was getting married and why she wanted go with him😅😅😅😅. Pretty obvious why he wouldnt want to go
Wasn’t it mentioned in a later episode that Claire and Mitchell spiked their mother‘s drink?
No; Claire and Mitch, as well as Phil and Cam I believe, kept feeding DeDe drinks as a distraction for their own benefit. In total DeDe had around sixteen drinks from her relatives who didn’t know that she was also getting them from others.
OMG you are right. It wasn't DeeDee fault. It was her family. They got her stupid drunk 🥴🤣
@@michaelphilpott1651 She still could have stopped drinking/refused the drinks though?
pretty sure she would have had more than enough drinks without all those that were given to her
What season and episode?
Shelly Long is very funny in this scene 🤣
I’m actually really dying over this whole video
okay but that toast was pretty funny
People complaining about Phil has never seen this show. Every scene involving Phil plays on his naivety and gullibility to believe everything regardless of how ridiculous. He's very innocent and childlike. He's not a malicious guy, in fact he's overly emotional & sentimental and wouldn't intentionally hurt anyone since he feels emotions at a deep level.
Being gullible and naive is not the same as being emotionally deaf and dismissing your wife's valid complaints about being HARASSED (like in this very scene), writers f-d up with this line, end of it.
Yes he's all that but he's also a creep in the first season. And it is not funny, glad the writers didn't continue with that trope
Shelly Long is the best at acting crazy
Mannys look🤣🤣💀💀
"nana is really strong" 🤣
ooh...I'm glodia kiiss Mee...
aai ai ai ai ai.. 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nona's really strong...😅
Gloria is a good second wife..
Note to self: Never invite your ex to your wedding. I saw the episode of Will & Grace where Will shows up to his ex boyfriend, Vince’s wedding and he didn’t want Will to come because he picks on him for the way he sits, the way he chews like chewing gum like an alpaca, the way he says Veranzanno Bridge and how his beard grew too fast
You Can't be selective about who comes to a Funeral (unless that person Messed up Real Bad)
You Can be selective about Weddings
Quoted by Ted Mosbey, "Don’t ever invite an ex to your wedding"
Little do some of them know what REALLY happened that day.
This scene must have been so fun to film
Did Shelly win an Emmy for this?
I don’t think she did - but she definitely should have!
Shelly Long is so funny in this clip, "cheers' to her 🤟💞
1:45 and then it got WEIRD!
Phil gets along with everybody while also being naive 😂
SHELLEY LONG KILLED THIS ROLE
Nana is really strong
As a child of a devorcees whose father is getting married for 2nd time I feel for Clare and Mitchell
I know they're different people. But whoever cast them did genius thing
Claire looked like Dede
And Hailey had similar face features like Dede 😍❤
Now that was sad and funny
So kids moral of the story- never invite your ex to your wedding
That ex was going through some shit and did not hide it well
Years ago I was lucky to witness a wedding disaster.
I was invited to a colleagues son’s wedding. Was initially a very boring modest affair.
It kicked off at the reception when the brides ex showed up with three other girls to crash the wedding.
Then devolved into a brawl between the bride and her bridesmaids against the wedding crashers.
Brides family eventually broke them up, police were called. Grooms side were aghast.
Best wedding I’ve ever been to.
I try to enjoy the clip several times but I can’t unseen that little cursor 🤦🏼♂️
Very good
Who the hell invites their ex to their wedding?
Shelley Long. Still breaking character from cheers. She can get drunk and bring along Sam Carla Woody Norm and Cliff
Manny is so cute
I wish it would have been katey segal who played the ex wife... In terms of irony!
And to make it even more ironic they should have made ed O'Neal John Teller (SoA)
They kept padding my butt
Someone is full of herself
Dede is the worst person.
Phil is a terrible husband. Wow.....
Nt cam getting kicked in the bellyand just not feeling it
I know it's over but I would have written. Jay looks at Gloria and is like honey I have bail money and we can get a refund on the honeymoon. You want her go get her.
Nana's really strong
Cam is right inviting an Ex to your Wedding is the worst idea ever I mean
She could have tried to kill Gloria or Jay
Can someone please tell me the season and episode number
S1 E4
This is pretty much my bfs family
…anyone getting second hand embarrassment
It's funny in a show but Phil is an incompetent person and yes the mother wasn't wrong. Imagine this happening in real life must suck. It's cute and quirky in a show but I wouldn't go to such a wedding.
They should’ve casted Katy Sagal
Dede made a stereotypical joke about Colombians
scene cut to manny
The way I see it , it would been ok if Jay had married a woman who was old and unattractive. But he up graded to a young hot Columbian woman. Nice work 💪
Wasn't Gloria 40 years old, or something? It's really not that young, lmao.
@@celian.6577 yeah but he was almost 70 I’m pretty sure. Gloria was younger than his daughter, Claire. So in context with his age, he married young
@@yazplatt He did marry a younger woman, and there is indeed an age difference between them, but that doesn't justify calling Gloria "young". A middle-aged woman in her 40's marrying a 70-year-old (I believe Jay is 63 at the beginning of the show) doesn't make her "young". She's absolutely gorgeous, though, so I definitely won't argue with the fact that she's super hot, but she's not exactly young.
@@celian.6577 younger than jay, that is the context.
For sure similar things would happen even if Jay married a woman who was old and unattractive since you see how toxic his ex-wife is 💀
Where was Alex
What season is this and ep
T01EP04
Cam😂
Phill's voice sounds different here
Why invite Dede in the first place?
Which season and episode
"Bruja"
Never liked Claire’s and Mitch’s mom
What’d ya take your Claire pill?
So shit I’d do 😂
1:47
She is not wrong
Gloria is a golddigger though lets be real
No there’s an episode in the first season where she says that she really fell in love with him
