And it turned out I was 100% right and then the therapist would log on every week to cry and ask me for help…. While her brain was inflamed and she couldn’t even keep straight anything I was telling her…. And that she wasn’t even granted a sabbatical or disability when she begged for it even though she had been trying to convince her clients before that the system is not as bad as everyone was telling her it was…. Is something to laugh cry about? Do you not think YOU might need a therapist to talk about why you weaponize therapy as an insult for people?
My shrink got COVID about a year ago and then developed multiple emboli (hypercoagulable state); totally got effed up. can't even see patients anymore. i think i'm going to the fruit-stand to buy a coconut. Give that a shot and see if it helps. lol
Yes! I love Ryan Gosling as much as the next person but this sketch could easily have fallen flat if he didn't have a strong scene partner to play off! Dismukes deserves his flowers too!

They shouldn’t have mentioned her in this sketch. It feeds her attention meter.

@@pjmathison9787 I hated the "new" cast on their first season after the huge turnover a few years ago. I didn't even try watching after the first couple shows and I have always been a big supporter over the years whenever people would say "SNL is awful," or "they need to be canceled and put out of their misery" but when McKinnon left I was one of the naysayers. Their second season I didn't bother to watch many episodes but then a good host would reel me in and I saw they were getting a little bit better. Last season I was almost all the way back, there are still a couple cast members that need to find a new gig but overall they had really meshed well. And now, this season has been an absolute revival and I couldn't be more happy. Kudos SNL!

Sometimes it's really hard to tell if breaking makes it better or not, some of them are just a failure of good writing but others are good and are kind of ruined by breaking.
The whispering really made this so funny. And Ryan is cracking not because of himself, but because he is in the moment thinking of what he is putting poor Brad through and it's hard to look him in the eye. "So. Didya see Jojo Siwa changed her look?" is one of the funniest small-talk guy-banter lines ever uttered.

Nice to see another Andrew Dismukes lead sketch. This was my favorite sketch of the episode - good buildup and ending and strong performances.
