There are so many things to dissect in this scene which is what makes it so funny. Every character is portrayed accurately and there are so many randomly funny moments
These scene is so damn great that they literally play it in every CPR/ first aid class in the US. I know this because I have sat through multiple and they ALWAYS play it once they get to the section of the class where you learn about chest compressions.
Aside from the obvious funny bits, the few seconds Stanley spoke about not being able to quit and retire is really depressing and the reality for most folks. It's so easy to say that we can live comfortably and quit our jobs and hope to retire, whatever that even means anymore. Unfortunately, the truth is, some can't and they will be working up until they die. That's what's sad.
But the AHA often references Stayin' Alive in their courses...which makes more sense than eye of the tiger because without CPR, likely the person will die. So stayin' alive is the ultimate goal...

There are so many things to dissect in this scene which is what makes it so funny. Every character is portrayed accurately and there are so many randomly funny moments
These scene is so damn great that they literally play it in every CPR/ first aid class in the US. I know this because I have sat through multiple and they ALWAYS play it once they get to the section of the class where you learn about chest compressions.

Aside from the obvious funny bits, the few seconds Stanley spoke about not being able to quit and retire is really depressing and the reality for most folks. It's so easy to say that we can live comfortably and quit our jobs and hope to retire, whatever that even means anymore. Unfortunately, the truth is, some can't and they will be working up until they die. That's what's sad.
