@420 hollow if you jump from a window with the legs together and vertically it's very likely you would survive, specially considering that their office is on the 2nd floor, so it's not a bad idea at all to jump. The maximum that would happen would be serious injuries on your butt or on your legs, but if it's a real emergency it's a risk you should take.
The office ladies covered this in their podcast: The cigarette that Dwight smoked to start the fire was real but fake fire. The camera man falling was totally on accident and it made it in. No one else follows standard safety protocol unless directly prompted by Dwight (though, to be fair, Dwight artificially trapped them and cut the phone lines - most people would panic at that point). @@THESLlCK higher education makes idiots amirite? I know I am dont bother debating.
Dill Bill yeah just about. College puts irresponsible people around irresponsible people for an insane amount of time. What do you think happens when dumb people hang around dumb people? Influence matters boi.
bruh, they're panicking.
In a weird way, this chaotic scene describes how people would ACTUALLY REACT when a fire comes in reality. Dwight was right. PowerPoints are boring.
Gotta steel the vending machine snacks.
Wtf...that lunatic blocked all emergency exits :D :D
Yes sirr
Why WOULDN’T they pay attention?
Actually, many studies have shown that during a crisis, a group tends to be organized. Panic creates chaos and chaos means less chance of survival for the group
3:40 That's the first time I've seen an overhead projector used in decades.
"This time smoking will save lives."
Stanley nearly dies of heart attack
Moral of the story:
*listen to power point*
power point is boring
Lazycookie 713 why didn’t they put them at gun point 😒 so obvious I mean it IS America lol
No matter how boring
Lazycookie 713 true, but I’m more interested in ur picture. Sander Sides for the win!!! :D
Moral of this story: Hire psychologist for HR to check mental health of candidates.
"So, our employee made masked from face cut from CPR training mannequin and tried to burn office for lesson. What should we do?"
3:43 the way Michael desperately yells “help” takes me out every single time
It reminds me of a bird squawking at you from up above in it's tree
Steve Carell has one of the funniest yells ever.
True 💯💯
Me too!
Same here! 😂😂
2:55 I CAN'T 😂😂😂 I LAUGH HERE SO LOUD LOL
My favorite part LMAO 😂
I love that part, it's so ridiculous LMFAO
2:02 “I forgot my purse” *LEAVE IT WOMAN!* “ by far the most underrated line in this entire scene
its funny tho😂😂
"PowerPoint is boring"
L E A V E I T W O M A N
Get outta the way go go go go go
that was playing when i was reading this😂😂😂😂
2:17 “Okay, we’re trapped. Everyone for himself.”
Now, that’s leadership!
100% accurate portrayal of the corporate workplace
"Everyone's for himself." They were not woke back then.

@@tf3217 ooo so sorry to offend your choco-sexual identity
Bruh the chaos went to the roof when he said that lmao
THE FIRE'S SHOOTING AT US
one of the best lines I've heard
One of the most American thing to say
I mean...
I was crying when said that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Fire was of the basketball American variety 😂
kevin breaking the glass of the vending machine is the epitome of comedic genius
3:05 Kevin breaking the vending machine is probably the wisest action he ever did in the entire show.
This and the time he showed Angela's husband a mirror
He rect the hell outta that vending machine RIP
He's got his priorities in order.
if i was in his shoes i do the same thing
yep
2:24
Dwight casually asking "Have you ever seen a burn victim?" is absolutely hilarious.
IT KILLS ME EVERY TIME. and his calm "What's the procedure?" throughout it all
Funniest line tbh
I thought he said "have you ever seen a burnt bishop?" 😂
Lol Dwight also said that in the fire episode in season 2
The camera man is not having a good day
I like how nobody's suspicious about how calm Dwight is
@Aaron Noah He made the entire office think there was a legitimate fire
Aaron Noah they mean the people in the show don’t become suspicious
Honestly knowing how dwight is, I feel like even if he didn't had set up the whole fire drill thing, and it was real, he would still be calm, he has a kick off these things and has been probably experienced in outrageous events like this.
@@evolutionmax9791 In a sitcom like this, you're bound to experience outrageous events
Evolution MAX well, when Ryan started the fire he was yelling and panicking when no one else was, so
Kevin looting the vending machine whilst the office goes insane is pure Kevin
No matter how many time i see this, the cat falling through the ceiling will always be the funniest.
and the way Angela screams for it when it hits the ground
YESSSSSSS
It got yeeeeeeted
Hell YEAH!!! and Michael saying "everyone please calm down!!!!'
Save Bandit !
"The fire's shooting at us" was the best part gets me everytime
David Samolkin LOOOOOOL ikr 😂😂
literally everything else was gold apart from that lame fire shoting at us line
David Samolkin ygrtg xxx
not even close to best part. too obvious of a joke. weak casuals think that was funny.
WHAT IS THAT WHAT IS THAT AHHHHH
Angela throwing the cat and yelling "Save Bandit!" only to have him fall through another ceiling panel was a massive laugh out loud moment. Just so bloody funny given the character of Angela and the situation.
Dont forgot her first thought was running away instaead of saving bandit
I'm not even the biggest fan of The Office but this is maybe the funniest 5 minutes of TV I've ever seen.
Phyllis: I forgot my purse!
Stanley: *_Leave it woman!_*
@KiddRogers Phyllis and Stanley >>> Jim and Pam at being work spouse
... And then proceeds to grab snacks from the vending machine
@54321 Subscribers Without Videos oh! I apologize for getting the characters wrong. I'm new to the sitcom
Quinn Lyz I swear he says MOVE IT WOMEN
That was kevin
Dwight: "Use the surge of fear and adrenaline to sharpen your decision-making!"
Kevin: *robs vending machine*
Smart move, he have his priorities alright.
Kevin obviously has the most IQ out of all of them
@@joannajoanna3660 I reckon the whole accountant department did money laundering
He's like save the snacks
His goals are beyond our understanding.
I can’t get over Micheal yelling for help😂 Imagine seeing this from outside
Hilarious
😂😂💀💀
😂 pretty funny
Jaden Blake yes and him throwing the chair and the window not breaking 😂😂
Everyone’s talking about how Dwight gave them no chance of escaping and the funny lines, but I wanna know how NO ONE noticed Dwight setting up the fake fire.
No one is suspicious of Dwight's calmness because they know he would act like this even if it was real
Shut up !
Facts
litterally
True, they even thought it was real until Dwight revealed it to be staged.
No he wouldn't, he'd freak out. Do you remember when Michael drove his car into a lake? Michael was rational but Dwight was in panic.
I love how everyone runs, multiple times, past the two fire extinguishers: one by the water coolers, another by the old copier by accounting.
Yeah but there are no visible flames to put out, a fire extinguisher wouldn't really be helpful in this instance.
*There was no fire for them to extinguish nor could they even get out to see* 💀
They could have sprayed the door handles with the fire extinguisher so it would cool off.
@@d0nlab
*I'm sorry but metal melts so the door handles would not be working properly*
"The thing I'm most concerned with is damage to company property"
-Dwight, Season 1 episode 1
Well by training collegues for fire safety he is preventing damage, isn't he?
Yeah, but safety first.
Yeah I remember him saying this when Jim planted his stapler in jello.
😃
Employees are basically company property when on the clock
3:24 "THE FIRE'S SHOOTING AT US!!!" God help me that gets me every time! One of the funniest moments in Television history.
