It really bothers me that a $80,000 Plus and you still have still add a Spray in line as an Option!
If people are dumb enough to pay 80K for a truck, they’re dumb enough to pay extra for a bedliner…

I saw a 3500 Laramie just like this. It was 92k, fully loaded except a spray in liner, bed step and side steps, also no air ride, but it did have a sunroof!

Thank the Lord above they still use the column shifter in the heavy-duty trucks! I don't know who come up with that stupid 'dial-a-gear' in the 1500, but I would not buy a truck with that 'knob'. Mirrors are still nice! Don't lose those good things Ram. Still keeping my 05 Dodge ram diesel with 5.9, no urea : ) I agree with Ben, they are very good trucks. I have had no issues with my 05, Dodge cummins. Can't believe it's just a few years away of being twenty years old ! Time flies. Thanks Ben !

I have a 2011 Ram 2500 with the Cummins and it still surprises me that they are using essentially the exact same drivetrain over a decade later.
If it's not really broke, dont fix it lol improve upon it. Introducing new power trains takes time, money, research and so much more.
@@malcolmn.5222 An Allison transmission would be a nice replacement for the 68RFE , but don't change the Cummins 👍

Needs the new cab with the flat floor like 1500. Cab is bigger as well
I don't understand why they double charge you for an engine. The base price says $64,930.00 and that includes the engine. Then at Options, it charges you again $9,895.00 for the exact same engine. Are you telling me you can't buy this truck for almost 65k with an engine? Seems fishy to me, but what do I know.
I feel like if you're going to splurge and spend 90k on a new Ram, you might as well spend a little more and get a Limited. Way better resale, has all the bells and whistles.

@jonathanmorales701 you can get a new ram 1500 with a higher payload capacity than a new cummins 2500. Anyone would buy one of these trucks with the cummins engine has no idea what they're doing and should've just got an older one or a 3500 instead. There is no point in getting this exact configuration.

Rams for good trucks I would just like for them to bring prices down a bit man they gettin like ford an gm raising prices through the roof just because you made good product doesn't mean you rape your customers that is the easiest way to go under
In my opinion my 17 Laramie 2500 is nicer. Seems like they mixed in some lower model features and left off basics like Bedliner

Yea. I just bought one Friday with a window sticker of 80440 and they discounted down to 57830 which is still ridiculous but I did have 40000 in trade and down payment. That helped alot
now needs 8" lift, 38" tires, 22" wheels.
