The fact the RAM would include the fifth wheel prep package, on a 3/4 ton truck with half ton payload is mind-blowing! For that kind of money, I would buy a Ford F350 with the Tremor package, and actually get decent payload!
Nice truck, my last 3 trucks have been Ram. My take on 2023-2024 HD is Ford wins with more power, more payload (off road trucks) larger cab and longer bed. All for lower MSRP. That rebel is a cool truck, but that price.

This truck screams for someone with a longer commute down the highway and who lives a little more off grid. This would work well as a commuter in Wyoming. The price would have to come down at least 15k.
That payload is HILARIOUS 🤣🤣 That's only 400ish pounds more than my Ram 1500 Limited (that I traded…because the payload sucked lol). Ram REALLY needs to get this straightened out.
The only way I can see the price tag is if someone is cross shopping a TRX. But wants to tow, look cool, have diesel reliability, and better fuel mileage. The trx is fast but fuel range is really bad, and cant tow much.
Bought this same exact truck for 91k in late March this year 2024...3700 miles in 68rfe ship the bed...currently in shop...had less than 2 mos...yes hydro blue is pretty
I paid 88.5K(msrp fully loaded) for my ZR2 HD and it has the power running boards and the spray in bed liner. My last 2 trucks where rams, but they are fast becoming a joke.
They must have changed the payload, i just got this truck for right at 60K, diesel, payload numbers 3150 not 1479 on mine. Maybe they made a change? Nice solid truck though.
i dont think you understand pay load and trailer tongue weight. for example a flatbed gooseneck trailer 14,000# will have 1400# tongue weight. so that truck will haul a lot more than what youre thinking. if nothing else you'll probably exceed the total combination weight rating of the truck and trailer before you exceed the payload of the truck with tongue weight.
For me, the Rebel package has been a huge miss since it came out. Barely more than an appearance package. If they were going to allow this to have such a low payload they should have made it more “Power Wagon”- like, lockers, better underbody protection and a big tire option. Even if they insisted on sticking with their 10k GVWR It would have been better.

And the 6.7 HO, or save $ and get the 7.3..a 7.3 Lariat Ultimate will run around $84k and give you more than 3900lbs payload.
Explain how you think this REBEL not a POWER WAGON, has a half ton tow capacity!.....know before being a keyboard warrior!!!!!

That is a JOKE! That same vehicle in 2019 was $63k. Stellantis is rapidly running CJDR into the ground.
This has nothing to do with Stellantis
Don’t buy it if you can’t afford it
Does that $98,000 price include a buy one truck get 2 free, deal?
Just say it like it is you’re broke and can’t afford not even half of that

This has been on the lot for a while like that AEV you reviewed , but unlike that, this one isn’t rusted out.
Even without a diesel, $87k for a truck is insane. RAM has priced themselves way out of the market .

Needs 37” tires for that price. I say just deck out your own 3500.

I can drive down to my local Chevy dealership and get a zr2 HD for 85k. No way this thing is worth 100

Jb in your opinion what’s the best 1500 on the market right now?
It would look great with the Ram Box
Price is a Joke! 😂
I have a 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel Cummins and I am loving it you buy this truck for these reasons
Yes I am not cheap 🤑
It’s not about being cheap! It’s about having a brain!
@@aesho46 jokes on him, right now Rebels are like 15-20k off, they can't sell, so dude paid more in 2023 than someone will now for a 24.
Price is a joke! Thanks for another video JB.

98k and no bed liner?!?!?!
Cool truck. I like the blue.
These prices are ridiculous. Consumers are to blame for indulging the OEMs.
Pass… I would wait for the new Ram trucks coming in the next few years… redesign, newer engines, and newer transmissions

98k 🤣🤣🤣. Not worth a penny over 80 and I’m being super nice!
90k cant even come with a spray in bedliner. Stellantis is killing this company. First the hemis now 100k price tag for 60k trucks unreal
Looks like a Ram 1500. Who pays $100k for that truck?
Not worth the price it’s a joke
You just said that the 2024 GMC AT4 3500 was the best HD truck on the market. SMH
For 97k cheap bilstein 4600 shocks 😂 for that money they should put at least bilstein 5100 . No bad liner this is a joke
Warranty is garbage for that price
That payload tho. Lol?!
