Bontofts is looking really lovely. I feel like, while describing the new tipping mechanism, you also found some new photo compositions and they not only show off the attractive model but also the lovely modelling you’ve done on this.

@@PrinceStreet Thank you Chris. Yes, there’s always a new angle to explore. Hopefully some more will develop too.

I realise that you may be using the compressor as a view blocker; but from my experience of working on compressor systems I would put the compressor on the ground level with a cage around it. I would not want to service the system up at track level.
The air pipes for the ram would be at the base of the ram. The air receiver could be this big if it was used to operate other systems as well.

Congrats on the tipping ram it looks and works well. How about adding a horizontal "rib" on the tipper then rotate the ram end "T" 90 degrees and pull the tipper back upright? That could fit in the scenario of your crewman on duty. I'm going to "steal" your idea and see if I can get it to work on Shadow Mtn and the shoebox project.

Thanks Tom. There is a separate small ramp that tips the skip back level just before the wagon gets filled.

I love the animation but wonder how you're going to return the car to its upright position? BTW - that mechanism would be pneumatic.

@@hirsutusi5536 There is a small ramp hidden behind some scenery, almost invisible to the viewer, that flips the skip back upright. Thanks for the insight on the mechanism.

Great work! Ok... tell the truth... how many of you tried to shoo that fruit fly crawling on the coach off the screen?
