In my opinion jbl should add sound EQ to the partyboxes, so you can use the bass, treble and echo for your music, just like on the new sony speakers where you can Equalize the music in their app.

The wattage and output of the speaker would make a battery impractical. It would drain the massive battery quickly, wear out and ruin the battery life fast too, and if you want a massive battery with the speaker it’ll at least cost a few hundred more dollars.

Just bought one today, was thinking of bringing it back because the sound and base is so powerful. Only reason why I didn't is because this party box is the only speaker available In my area. Connected microphone as well via Bluetooth and works very well. The lights are cool as well, lite up my living room. Bought it with no idea it was going to produce that much sound and base. Don't even need the base booster. Overall, for the price it's a really is a great speaker.

One fine evening my cousin got the JBL pb 310 and brought it to show us at our house, i was in awe as i had never experienced such clear and crisp loudness in my life except in those assembled china products which started distorting at higher volumes.
My dad liked it so much that we got one of our pwn the very next day, the JBL pb 310...we heard pretty good music but there was a dissatisfaction on my father's face, when i asked him he said that it was not loud enough and bass was not that powerful (even on charging, i.e a full 240RMS) and in showroom he saw the 710 besides the 310...i guess his mind was stuck there
I resonated a bit with him on that point...so we started narrowing down the pros and cons of 310 vs 710 and concluded to choose btwn either we want portability (as of battery in 310) or extra performance (bass)...money too was a point to consider but dad told that if we buy something like this we ought to keep it for atleast 7-8 years and thus that extra premium of 20k becomes a moot point
Now coming to 310's battery associated portability feature...any battery in the world is going to deteriorate at a point in time and afterwards we have to use the device on constant power supply only...so why not do it from the start!!
And also we werent't going to move the speaker around much plus my father has 2 sons who can carry him as well as the speaker anywhere he wants 😅😊
So finally we returned the 310 the very next day and brought in the 710...rest is history 🔥🔥

i have to disagree with the overkill part.
my parents in their 60s bought the 710 and i would say it’s perfect! they use it on the porch while sitting outside near the pool having a “fika”.
when they have guests it’s perfect for their parties, the Samsung N950 atmos system was not even close to cutting it out for them.
if they play music inside the house some sit in the kitchen and chat there while others enjoy the bass shaking quality that is JBL in the living room. no need for bass boost at all that will distort music.
if you got a house i would wholeheartedly recommend the 710, it is NOT overkill.
since i live in an apartment i might be drawn more to the 310, dragging it to my outside area which is about 20-30 square meters or so and have music blasting in the summer 👍🏻

So, I'm torn right now. I'm trying to decide on getting the 710..or use some car audio equipment I already have and just convert to use for in the home. I have a double din touch screen CD player, 6 6x9 3-way speakers, 2 12" subwoofers in ported box, all being powered by a 1200 watt amplifier. The amp would be the only thing I'd have to buy. I will get my mids and highs from the 6x9s and my low end from the 2 12" subs. I just dont know if it will be as good or better than the 710. I'm not concerned about running a mic or guitar as I'm only using it in my garage gym. So, I'm not worried about it being portable either. What's your thoughts

Of course it will be better than a portable Bluetooth speaker, sure the 710 is impressive but a home theatre setup will sound better depending on what speakers you are using, but you can’t bring the amazing sound around with you like you can with the party box 710

A pair of 710s is plenty loud enough to DJ a small to medium size venue. But, they just weren't designed for this purpose. Without a pole mount, you can't even get these in the air above the crowd. Placed on the floor, the sound will be deadened when it hits bodies on the dance floor. People also have a preconceived idea of what professional DJ equipment should look like, and the partyboxes just don't fit that image. If you already have some professional speakers, I'd just spend the $800 ,or $1600 for a pair of 710s, on adding to your light show. -Former DJ

Passing the 60% volume will defienetly cause less bass. This is true for my Car speakers, car sub, boombox, go3, PB 710. Overall all JBL Products. I think it is for the woofers safety.
I think the 710 is more, than enough for personal use, but if you prefer looks the 1000s led is gorgeus

@@LightVibes - Stereo gives you two separate channels of sound where Mono sound is singular. Stereo sound allows for a better quality of sound. For example..when listening to a song you may hear instruments or special effects go back and forth between the speakers. If you have a nice pair of headphones you can probably do a UA-cam search on differences between mono and stereo and it will show you. The sound is definitely much better in stereo.
