partybox speakers only sound good indoors or outdoors with a wall behind for the bass reflex otherwise it lacks bass . For the outdoor an PA speaker will be more effective.
After this video's comparison. I decided to get the partybox because it was the cheaper option and also the better one. I have to say this speaker is super overkill if you will only use it indoors. I use it at work in a very loud environment. And even then I only use it at 50-60% volume because anything higher than that and it's almost painful. You can feel the bass from a long distance. I could never imagine myself getting a partybox 1000 or the ultimate for that matter. Dual 710s will be more than enough for personal use imo.
Its funny that Soundboks claim a 5 hour batterylife at max volume, when at the same time they claim it has 3 x 72 watt RMS amplifiers built in. So in all 216 watts of amplification. But the battery in only 100wh and so if the amplifier claim are correct, it should only be able to play at max volume, for about 25min. And this is only if the amplifier does this at 100% effeciency.

funny to see, GYMCADDY always, in every video, treats bass like you can "direct" its output. Bass is spreading trough the air like a ball, same output in every direction, not like a "torch". Bass always becomes amplyfied when the speaker is close to a wall or a corner. NO MATTER where the bass ports faces. thats simple 1x1 room accoustic knowledge.
Sony still needs to do better with their other speakers and make them sound louder it's cool that the xv900 doesn't sound as muffled but they still need to work on their other speakers which still doing a pretty bad job at
The truth is that the JBL 710 does defend itself very well despite only having 2 trebles and the Sony 6 gives the Sony a lot of competition, very good JBL 🗿
Can any one comment on how well the EQ feature works on the Soundboks? I love the industrial design, ruggedness, features of the Soundboks but prefer a warmer sound signature-
"The JBL 710 gets the loudest" Is that also for when playing at 100% volume? I've heard the Soundboks still gets a little louder than the 710 at 100% volume?
There is a german channel M1M that puts dB of the boxes under the vids. The 710 reaches the same as the soundboks and has an equalizer in the app with a new firmware where you can increase volume by 10-15% 710 has heavier bass though, and 1000 or Teufel Rockster are still a bit stronger. The 126dB of the Soundboks exists only on paper and doesnt stand a chance against the non-mobile boxes
Well you can easily say the Jbl crushed all!..even at your wrong setting of "punchy" setting..i believe you set this because your trying to make the soundoks give the 710 a run for its money!.. if you were to set it a bass boost 1...it would of blowed all of them out of the water!!..it did on the punchy!!..lol..sony with all the tweeters...where is the highs??...you are correct..the JBL has the best full range.the soundbox in this review..what a joke for $1000 it was terrible in sound..like I said..a bullhorn in a box.
The fact that the JBL is categorized as a Bluetooth / portable speaker yet it doesn’t have a battery is a manipulative marketing because most people looking at a speaker like that are looking for a Bluetooth speaker which the 710 is not. At that price point is ridiculous… the fact that it can only be ran when it’s plugged in should justify comparing it to other plug-in speakers and stereo systems/PAs at that $800 price point. if you were to compare it to other stereo, systems and PA systems that are plugged in at that price point, the 710 is extremely outclassed and sparsely featured. Don’t fall for it. if you want a Bluetooth speaker with a battery, then the two others are a fair comparison.
I thought the same thing until I played with the soundboks for about a week and learned that they sound best outside. I really was sorry I bought them until I learned how to use them. I have a video on my channel using them at my car wash and they really sounded good. The neighboring business owner came over and ask where the was. LOL
Ur last review comparing the 710 to the soundbox a year ago u said u preferred the sound of the soundbox , did something change firmware update , u also said the soundbox got louder but this time u said the 710 get louder ? Really like ur reviews just wondering
Why do UA-cam speaker reviewers always have to play dance or hip hop music? Not everyone listens to it and just for once it would be nice to hear comparisons on something such as jazz, rock, blues, funk etc.
Ya I can't stand a speaker you can't plug in and use batteries suck however it is a nice addition to have the option to use it even if for a short time without power so I have to have a speaker that can do both
I bought an ecoflow river pro for my two pb 710s, at half volume one pb710 draws an average of 50w, at 80% the peaks can reach 130w. I also bought an ecoflow river mini and could use it for 4 hours with one pb 710 on half volume with lights and bass boost turned off 👍

They're same at loudness,i think you would be happier with the 710, because has app and u can control lights and everything, the 1000 have a little more bass, but trust me,the 710 has enough
I like how you have speakers in the background when you do those slow panoramic like shots. Nice touch
I’m glad I got the 710 lol. It shakes my shop. And it’s 20,000 square feet. 50% I can hear it still in the lobby
its your own earthquake machine
@@GYMCADDY I tried it in my office and was worried it would knock picture frames off the wall in my office and my mom’s next to mine haha! This thing is wonderful 😂
funny to see, GYMCADDY always, in every video, treats bass like you can "direct" its output. Bass is spreading trough the air like a ball, same output in every direction, not like a "torch". Bass always becomes amplyfied when the speaker is close to a wall or a corner. NO MATTER where the bass ports faces. thats simple 1x1 room accoustic knowledge.
The difference is incredible between the 710 and the others. they're not even in the same league as the JBL.
Great info...thank you for helping me make my decision.
Glad to hear it!
sem dúvida, é o melhor canal de vídeo comparativo. parabéns pela produção do vídeo. excelente
brigado 😊
Sony still needs to do better with their other speakers and make them sound louder it's cool that the xv900 doesn't sound as muffled but they still need to work on their other speakers which still doing a pretty bad job at
Not bad, they are good sounding speakers, may be you don’t like the sound signature from Sony
@@gianniantonello1501 It's just sad that the XB43, which has a very good sound signature, didn't get a good upgrade.
@@AlexeMazzz you mean more loud? I am interesting to buy one
JBL is and will remain the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION 🏆.
Gotta respect Harmans
The Sound Engineers
Waiit the is portable power stations like the one from Jackery and Anker shouldnt it work to use the big ones with a 710?
The truth is that the JBL 710 does defend itself very well despite only having 2 trebles and the Sony 6 gives the Sony a lot of competition, very good JBL 🗿
Can any one comment on how well the EQ feature works on the Soundboks? I love the industrial design, ruggedness, features of the Soundboks but prefer a warmer sound signature-
eq feature sucks, actually lowers the overall volume
Yes I agree just sold my sb3 I wanted to try JBL but I miss my Sb it's so portable & loud as hell
"The JBL 710 gets the loudest"
Is that also for when playing at 100% volume?
I've heard the Soundboks still gets a little louder than the 710 at 100% volume?
You can never go wrong with JBL
There is a german channel M1M that puts dB of the boxes under the vids.
The 710 reaches the same as the soundboks and has an equalizer in the app with a new firmware where you can increase volume by 10-15%
710 has heavier bass though, and 1000 or Teufel Rockster are still a bit stronger.
The 126dB of the Soundboks exists only on paper and doesnt stand a chance against the non-mobile boxes
there about the same
Great review!
you mean i can connect my jbl on the go to my 710 and play it at the same time? using audio cable?
Use pro club for your shirts ! People love that thickness quality
JBL is more clear n loud..but the detail it's not what I want..Sony n sondbok
Partybox kills them all for volume, bass and clarity.
Soundboks comes in second position and sony in good loser.
Don’t fall for it. if you want a Bluetooth speaker with a battery, then the two others are a fair comparison.
soundboks just sounds like a shitty PA speaker made wireless. Pretty much what it is
Exactly
Its way better with eq
@@nicowank634 i find it hard to believe an eq with a limited number of bands can fix that sound signature
@@asduhaisjdjasd but it can tho i always lower the highs and sup bass and increase the deep bass and it makes a huge difference
I thought the same thing until I played with the soundboks for about a week and learned that they sound best outside. I really was sorry I bought them until I learned how to use them. I have a video on my channel using them at my car wash and they really sounded good. The neighboring business owner came over and ask where the was. LOL
I have jbl 710.....its bass is insane thundering
Wow, 710 is a killer.. The worse one is Soundboks..
I hope Marshal will go competitive too….
Ur last review comparing the 710 to the soundbox a year ago u said u preferred the sound of the soundbox , did something change firmware update , u also said the soundbox got louder but this time u said the 710 get louder ? Really like ur reviews just wondering
Hey
Going for the 710 thanks
Why do UA-cam speaker reviewers always have to play dance or hip hop music? Not everyone listens to it and just for once it would be nice to hear comparisons on something such as jazz, rock, blues, funk etc.
Because it’s the only one copyright free lol 😂
Jbl sounds best among 3.
what app do you used?
Soundboks all the way!
I tried a partybox 300 for DJing.
I was useless as there was a delay.
Does anyone know if the 710 has the same problem?
I'm using 2 110's for djing, no delay at all if you are using an aux cable
@@nickhoubrechts7343 must just be the 300 then
@GYMCADDY what do you think would be better for a portable loud speaker 2 jbl boombox 3s or 1 soundbok3? I'm trying to figure it out an I need help!
I think I would get two BB3's. this way you have more use options and you can get left and right stero sound going.
JBL sounds a lot better than Soundboks and Sony. Sony is the weakest one here.
Nice video bro 👏👏👏
You should add the Samsung MX-T70 to this comparison 👏👏👏
Samsung suona forte ma non è ben bilanciata amico
@@sonymhcv42 Thanks bro!
square speaker means proprietary and not replaceable
Very well produced video. Nicely done, sub’d.
One question, during db measurements was the equalizer turned on and set to max in the partybox 710?
U mad that he performed the best?:)))))
@@Sealsneak no, but i think it could be even louder...
what was the app you used to mesuer the sound
17:38 who else noticed that he put a jbl partybox 310 bass port instead of a 710
Wish there was more square speakers on the market
Il 710 winner e il suono è molto più chiaro
Ya I can't stand a speaker you can't plug in and use batteries suck however it is a nice addition to have the option to use it even if for a short time without power so I have to have a speaker that can do both
Usually Sony sounds better in real life than JBL, but in videos they sound like crap to comparisson
I’d like to know how many watts the JBL draws so I know how big a portable power unit you’d need to pair it with.
I bought an ecoflow river pro for my two pb 710s, at half volume one pb710 draws an average of 50w, at 80% the peaks can reach 130w. I also bought an ecoflow river mini and could use it for 4 hours with one pb 710 on half volume with lights and bass boost turned off 👍
@@tagemathiassen does a car handle it?
@@tagemathiassen excellent data, thank you. I have a tiny Jackery 300 so it sounds like I could get up to six hours at half volume with that, and it can handle the draw at max volume.
ecoflow river pro manages this without problem, the max consumption of PB 710 is 150W
people saying soundboks is the best but clearly JBL outperforms all of them
The JBL blows both the other speakers away!!!
What's the watts for each one
I only know the JBL 710 and it has 800 watts of continuous power input
JBL sounds natural all well balance, and sony and soundbloks the sounds quality is like a recorded music in cheap mic
I have a 110 and use it as my speaker for my pc cause it doesn't have speakers work really well tho and thinking about buying the 710
710 All the way with the new JBL EQ!
Aren’t all Bluetooth speakers mono?
JBs wins on a stereo headset
That jbl kicked ass on sound
It sure does
“Need to use war protection if you’re using the sv900 at full volume” buddy get real, you don’t need ear protection for a portable Bluetooth speaker, not even for the Partybox 1000 which is louder than all 3 of these speakers.
How much
Wwjat happens to the stereo sound??
JBL is far more superior than the other two
great video
For $1k, get the JBL 1000. It’s the king of the hill!
JBL just built different
