I just purchased this speaker (partybox 310) and I have yet to actually crank/Jam it out but man oh man the clarity of sound out of this (semi)portable speaker is truly amazing so far! I really glad I got this over the 100 or 300 as I can tell you having the wheels and handle really helps out with moving it around as opposed to having to carry it as it weighs about 40 pounds! I almost bought the Billboard Dual 8” party speaker (actually I did purchase it from BJ’s prior to thinking further about it and returning it to BJ’s Wholesale Club). And really really glad I returned the Billboard speaker and got the Partybox 310!!! So far as I said the sound quality is amazing and so glad I did not compromise due to price as I know down the road I would have regretted it for sure! Being that this is. a JBL speaker 🔊 and being IPX4 water resistant (rains allot in Florida plus splashing around the swimming pool) is a huge huge plus!!!Very Happy day one!!! Thank you so much for all your videos you aided me greatly in narrowing down which speaker to buy..... much gratitude 🙏!!!!

The bass port shape is going upward inside the cabinet so it s a reason why water cannot be inside in case of rain or water projections . It s why jbl recommand only to put vertically the speaker in case of rain in order to let water come out of the «vertical shape » port due to gravity
I bought the 310 and have had it a couple of days now. This is my first bluetooth speaker and I love it! Great midbass and clear highs and mids. Did I miss something? What were your first impressions after listening to it? It sounded pretty good to me - very clear. Of course smaller than the 710 and 1000, but it its own class the 310 looks to be pretty good.
I have 2 of the 310's and they sound great in stereo I took them to a Halloween party and had the cops called because of the volume. What I like about it is using the guitar function so I can play without an amp although you need a pre amp to play guitar through it. I use my Boss JS-10 trainer for a preamp and effects, The only draw back is when using the microphone you can't use both of them at the same time it's only going to come out of the speaker the Mic. is plugged into, I run a vocal transformer through mine and I thought I could get them both to play through that but nope you have to run an aux. cable between the speaker's for both to play the vocal's at the same time with one mic. The sound is amazing and my neighbors can't stand me when I decide to practice my guitar in the middle of the night. LOL It's over all a great system for portable use and if you are using half vol and no Bass boost you can get around 17 hrs of battery life, I've never gotten 18 hrs out of a charge.
Great reveiw!! I looked it up and it is in fact Ipx4. Ipx4 is splashes from any direction so I'm assuming it would be fine if a little got in the bass port. For the same price I would rather have this over the Boombox 2, because I rarely actually submerge my speakers.
I love the JBL Party box 310 I bought one Last year in August 2021 last year I had one Listen to it and I fell in love with it straight away but I already paid for the TIMAX 40 Bluetooth speaker but I had to wait for two mouths before i get it because it hasn't arrived at the time but Noul Learning in whangarei told me about this JBL PARTY BOX 310 and once I Bluetooth my phone to it played one song from my play List (Papa was a rolling stone Kevin Karlson remix) i was hooked the Dj Mix I played from my play List some people in the shop at the time was allso hooked I couldn't walk out the shop without it I allso turned it on outside while I was waiting for my uncle to take it home for me because I had my Mountain bike outside the shop at the time but soon as I got home I showed my Aunty Laura what I got but at the end I gave it to them as a Early Christmas present because I all ready had my potable SRSXB43 BLUETOOTH SPEAKER in my bag and I couldn't walk around town with that but clearly this jbl party box 310 is the best
i have had it for 5 months and its a realy godd spekeer for the price and it have held up great have had it in a tracktor the whole winter and it havent had any problems yeat

300 and 310 is like 5-10 decibel difference cause same speakers just a little bigger exit on the 310 so sounds a tiny bit better, and I just got one for $430 on sale from $500 on amazon

I’m trying to decided between the PB100, PB110, and this PB310. Is the 310 a lot better sounding then the 100 or 110. Is it worth the extra cost?? If not what is better the 100 or 110???
It's IPX4 rated so splash-proof and I assume some dust won't hurt it at all. However, I wouldn't recommend using it in a wood workshop or similar with a lot of dust involved. This goes for just about any party speaker regardless of name.
@@jeevansatav Hard to say. However, using light and strobe will slightly diminish the battery time. LEDs don't really eat much current, so my educated "guesstimate" would be 10-15 min. worth of power at 12 hrs continuously use.

It Sounds Good but I do agree that jbl should have put another Tweeter at the bottom. Just like the flip 4 and charge 4 it sort of sounds like those.

For small gatherings, like spoken word and music open Mics in a gathering of 40 people, would you recommend this or Partybox 110 be sufficient?
The battery life on the 310 is significantly better than the 110 and in my opinion it definitely can entertain 40+ easy so definitely grab the 310.

Yea, those wheels sound like roller blade wheels but I would have preferred them to put bigger wheels for more ground clearance but still dope💪🏽💪🏽
