I like Nikon’s approach to not trading quality for size. All these weak arm creators that keep complaining about the size of lenses as if they represent all photographers has been crazy. I was upset when Sigma and other brands started catering to these ppl. I’ll take my larger, superior quality Nikon S lenses over the competition. The only compact lenses that I will spend money on are Sony GM primes.
I must say that you are really becoming quite innovative with your subject matter..... What's next? Price per pound analysis? Damage test when dropped onto a concrete floor from a height of 6 feet? Survivability when microwaved for 60 seconds? Keep pushing the envelope.......
@@tiltoll weight is coming in the next episode of ridiculous ways to measure a lens hahaha. It’s already done actually ZWade Photo Full Members of the channel can already watch it haha
I like this idea. However, square inches is two dimensions. Think square feet of the floor plan of a house. The square inches of the maximum circumference of a given lens is pi times radius squared. The volume of a cylinder is related: pi times r squared times the height, but that’s cubic inches. You have multiplied height times width. I’m not certain what that measures.
Oh man don’t over think it THAT much haha. All I did was list all the lenses with their spec dimension length and diameter info in one place and the price per square inch is just an entertaining useless addition to make the main point not boring. When I’m shopping for a new bag, I don’t fool with inches squared or volume, lol I look at the inside dimension of 19 x 12 x 6 inches or whatever. I need to fit A B and C lenses and A and B camera. all I need is the width and length of these objects to get an idea of what I can fit. Don’t even really need height because most the Nikon stuff will probably need to lay down sideways ha.
@@ZWadePhotoLol, I get it 😂 I like the all the ways you compare all the Z lenses. My intent was not to troll, but to help prevent any trolling when this video is available for everyone. Keep up the great work! 😃
Next video.
Which lens smells the best after you had it deep fried.

Price per found is already done. Just haven’t edited the video yet. Lmfao
I like the microwave idea….standby let me check the logistics lmfao
Please update this by volume. And since you have to do it anyway: Go metric. :) … and dont skip weight.

I dream of Z mount 10-20mm, btw is Z8 frame grid separated by 16 sections? Thank you in advance 🙏

Should have calculated volume, cubic inch!
Thanks for watching
Ok so I got a Nikon 80-200mm f4 Ais and that results in 2 dollar per square inch😅😅😅
