I never touch the head settings!I know people are going to question this statement, but in my hours put into it I get best results when I just use the,on my bogner and can play with all the settings this amp provides. This may not be for every one, but if you start chasing tone, bass, an sect you,Lloyd never be happy thus making a easy tube amp complicated. I have found the right settings will deliver all your needs. I had an opportunity to ask the great Buddy Guy on one of many concerts I’ve seen him in with different tube amps, and how he got that same sound? I quote Buddy Guy, who said,it has a lot to do with your pick, or finger picking! So to save a ton of hours dialing in amps and applied it to my picking? Lightly pick a string, then with more and more aggression pick the same string! As the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn was quoted, it’s in the hands man. As for the pedal on this amp I traded up from the smaller pedal to the largest. I have no regrets at all! Thanks God Bless.
Let’s make this amp real simple? It’s a true tube amp.It allows me to play the 60, 70, style catalog of music. It is the most misunderstood tube amp on the market, meaning that if I want to play that head crashing metal head music I can. With our little three man band I can use the pedal board with very little set up I can get any thing I want and it’s insane settings get the rare Hendrix stuff and not be a novice in the Hendrix catalog of his music. Another quality about this amp, it is built like a tank, and not as sensitive as the majority of boutique type tube amps. One other nice quality is Bogner was a big part of the tube amp. I will say it is not a Bogner but neither is the extra two or three grand.
This is the one Line 6 amp that I love. It can hang in there in a rig with a JCM-800. The Spider series solid state combos are fried dog turd do not buy. If they released a 100w power amp with Helix preamp models and no effects, it would change the game.
nice riffs man but a tip ... learn to play along with the chords don't just spin a bunch of riff together. Say something with your playing meet the chords as they come.

Lee I just got the head I need to know which floor board to use the short one or the long one with the head?
I use the larger board shown in video.

I used it when I had a blown fuse in a JCM-800 single channel. It can hang. Just don't scoop the mids like a metalcore arsehole
