Are you actually playing the game on an xbox? because the original Xbox version is compatible with 720p, not 640x480 the information is wrong. The only thing needed is to use a component video cable and enable 720p on the console's dashboard. This is one of the games compatible with hd resolution on the old xbox.
Edit: The PS2 version had a cool unique feature where if you take a picture of your face or anything with a camera and send it online, you could use that picture for your custom skater. This would have been the best version if this feature still worked, but sadly, the email address that was used to receive pictures from players has since been disabled, making this feature useless. So the choice is easy: the Xbox version looks and sounds the best and it has custom soundtrack support which is a nice touch since you can use this feature anytime and not worry about it being disabled like the photo feature the PS2 version had. Original comment: On PS2, it has a cool unique feature where if you take a picture of your face or anything with the EyeToy, you can use that picture for your custom skater. For me, the PS2 version is my preferred version because of this feature but if you don't care about this feature then the choice is easy: the Xbox version looks and sounds the best and it has custom soundtrack support which is a nice touch. If you can get past the lack of EyeToy support which a small handful of games utilize on PS2 then that version is just about as good since it does have an exclusive feature that makes up for it.
@@vegatdm Are you sure it has better graphics? It looks very similar to the console versions. If anything, textures in the PC version aren’t as crisp as those in the Xbox version and the lighting also looks off in the PC version. Everything looks bright on PC whereas the console versions have a more accurate lighting model. Also mods aren’t my thing personally and I do not care about them.
@@revenge1205 PC literally has higher resolution textures. the lighting on Pc is the same as PS2 and GC, xbox uses different shaders and looks shady in a lot of places like manhattan and the night part of russia. even if mods arent your thing they still exist.
@@vegatdm Not sure where you’re getting that from tbh because if you look at 0:31 you can see that the grass textures on PC are slightly blurred. The original Xbox handles sunlight shading the best because it looks the most realistic and if you ask me it adds more to the immersion. The way shading is handled on the PC is strange because it’s clearly subdued and it doesn’t look as realistic as it is on the consoles. In my opinion this takes something away from the atmosphere of the game.
I love the ps2 version the most just because of nostalgia reasons, however I thank the Xbox version is the definitive way to play this game, the PC versions colors are just too bland to me and it's hard to setup an Xbox controller if needed and the camera is weird. The GameCube version is fun as well but the ps2 always comes in my number one place simply because that's what I played as a kid
i like how gba versions arent just 2d left and right and how fluid it is but yeah other versions are way better btw Tony Hawk game without music feels weird lol :D
I have played that on GC, PS2 and PC countless times, even if PC was an Australian only release. Maybe I will get it for Xbox too, it's playable on 360 afaik.
i like PS2 version, which one is your favorite?
The xbox version is objectively better though (720p, widescreen, locked 60fps)
PS2
Pc
PS2
Version Xbox is better running in 60fps
I was always surprised at how playable these games were on the GBA.
Let me tell you they 're fantastic.
Except of the Simpsons road rage.
I didnt think it was playable when I was 11 but now im 25 and changed my mind

What do you mean? The xbox is just a ported version of the ps2 version.
I have played the PS2 version of this game.
Can you do Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3?

I always loved the gba intro song on this game… literally one chord and the guy said duh duh duh duh over and over lol
It's actually a 15-second loop of the beginning of the song "A Day at the Races" by Jurassic 5.
PS2 and GC have 16:9 widescreen support. Just go to "screen mode" in the options menu.
What cables and scaler do you use to connect your consoles to your capture card?
Emu
