@@loladersin9972 yes and no. If you only throw 4 major of the same kind into it, then you can only get the same rune our again (either as a major or as a superior). Same, if you throw 4 of the same, of anything. Like 4 rare swords = 1 rare or exotic sword
People need not be scary to do dungeons for runes. Actually, if you need a set of Monl's runes, for example, just join dungeon random groups. I got my 6 runes in an evening of play.
My favorite part of this video is realizing how the candy cane weapon appearances came to be. I always wondered while watching your stream -- knowing full well you do not care much about item/armor appearances -- WHY you were using candy cane weapon appearances! Haha
Heal scourge is op, even after barrier nerfs. Its really the rez/pull utility that lets people play poorly and win. If people were taught without the heal scourge training wheels on, i bet they'd do better at mechanics. Im also a huge heal scourge enjoyer though :/
I would love to do dungeons but there not solo friendly and I never see any groups. I want to do all the dungeons and just can’t because I can’t solo them.
So this shows great ways to gear alts but what’s the best way to gear for multiple builds on your first character right after hitting 80? And this is assuming doing all content in order, no skipping straight to certain LW episodes.
is a healscourge a good way to run wvw in a tag or even in the down time server? i used to run full melandru and was fun not being dead when outnumbered 20:1 but i actually want to give something to the group lol
Heal scourge doesn't function the same in WvW. I believe the rez potential and shields are much lower, or something along those lines. Not sure on the specifics, but every zerg I've encountered has had a hard "no heal scourges" poilicy.
Heal scourge is not really good in WvW, transfusion can often end up making situations worse because it clumps downstates up making them easier to cleave out for opponents.
Do character slots ever go on sale? I want to try another profession but I already have 5 characters and the price of slots rn is frustratingly high for me.
Absolutely, and not even that rarely! You should definitely be exchanging gems when they're cheap and saving up for a nice character slot sale. You can check the wiki if you want a better idea as well.
to follow the other guy's comment, I often keep an eye on the gem exchange and just convert my gold to gem, and then when gemstone sales happen I'd have free gems ready XD
Kinda. Base game is free and has quite a lot of content from levels 1 to 80, not to mention pvp, wvw and other game modes. Dlcs are paid and offer more content after level 80 and elite specialization that change the way you play your class.

or buy the major runes or the kind you want (like monk) and use MF. That way its super fast

Using other options in the filters to only show exotic and lvl80-lvl80...just a good practice in general to not get scamaz by lvl78 or expensive shit.

Which healers would you recommend? I like the look of Ele and Necro, just not sure which one to focus on and get to endgame to build as a healer.

if it's a veteran group, yeah heal courage is unnecessary in group. Heal Alacrity Mechanist or Heal Firebrand is more better Heal scourge in group.
