Same here, I clicked on because of the thumbnail picture. I don't know why I like them other than they are interesting to me. I wouldn't really have a use for one here on my farm in the United States. If I lived in a city, I think I would try to get one. I've seen other videos of tuk tuk's in every day use and several camper conversions that are really neat.
Lobe the honorable mention made in India as it's like an apartment on wheels quite nice and doable depends on the suspension and shocks it would have but is an answer for the homeless as they'd have a vehicle and a home too..The Boreas XT-12 is a very nice one since it's easy to store and is very practical for camping for short durations..or in an emergency..there are others I can't remember now..but loved that German made van one called the "space shuttle on wheels".... It's got everything for long term and easy to get around don't really look like a camper so it would be discreet..
You mean like driving and cooking is dangerous. Here in usa or california at least everyone has to be seatbelted in a camper or rv and no riding in trailer being towed either. So no getting up to use microwave when moving.

I love how Amricans think that you need an SUV to pull a 568kg trailer. Here in Europe you would pull that thing with a Volkswagen Polo and still be about 400kg under the maximum allowed towing weight for the smallest Polo variant.

The Indian camper is the only one I was interested in! Honorable mention? Should have been first prize! It needs a whole video of its own. By far the most creative and thoughtful. Wind profile would be the only downside in high winds, but I'd use one in a flash!
I agree, there wasn't a lot footage to work with and I'm pretty sure we used everything available. I'm looking forward to featuring it again - as soon as enough media is made available, I guarantee, we will give it a longer segment. It really does deserve an entire dedicated video. I absolutely love everything about it.
Why does some of this most innovative Campers come from outside America? Guess U.S.A. Camper manufacturers will improve when the market place demands. Like the auto the U.S. auto industy selling decades old designs underneath chrome and sheetmetal....
Many outside the states designs come from necessity! Our American roads are wide and huge compared to say Europe or Asia in a lot of areas! I guarantee a lot of our American campers won't fit down say British roads!
The answer is a caravan for v.w. bugs if they had a roof attachment. Plus the v.w. could go in 360 with out unhitching to make parking it wonderful. Just don't know the name of maker.

I'm not sure what video you watched but I would not call any of these "a box on wheels" . You can only fit so many bells and whistles in a camper so small.
I prefer the one no.6. The price also reasonable. It has an air-condition, refrigerator, comfortable bed, small kitchen and most importantly they are all inside the cabin. No need to open everything outside the cabin(which will be troublesome when rainy) Only there is no toilet...

Microwave is better because cooking on open stove only when you have stopped on camping ground but other time then microwave is a choice
