One thing I discovered while playing this map is that the hibernating bear set kinda goes hard in medieval. On top of the high damage of warrior spirit mini crits and healing, that high damage also means you get a ridiculous ammount of random crits.

I do think they should combine Degroot and Burghausen. Make Degroot like the opening stage, then once you capture the castle you move on to the Burgh. Four stages of medieval chaos and fun:)

With 20% more damage it's able to one hit 8 of 9 classes in the game with a crit and melee has a higher chance for a random crit as well." Valve Employee A: "Good point. Let's make weapon switch and walking slower, instead of giving it the "No Random Crits" debuff. It's not like there is an entire sub class or a secondary, that makes those debuffs worthless."
I love the Killing Gloves of Boxing on this new chart. It's a lot of fun. And it's a Sniper's paradise, since there are a lot of safer sight lines for him to shoot. I love medieval mode and this new map is a huge energy boost. If we ever get a proper Valve update with new weapons, I pray that the blacksmith finally gets medieval weapons. A jarate catapault. Hum.
And this is why random crits need to be removed from the Skullcutter. The movement speed debuff is partially negated with booties and a shield, so you are left with a sword with a 20% damage buff and random critical hits that can one shot most classes.
@@Alxium you got to think about all load out possibilities, if you run stock but with the cutter, having it out makes u the second slowest class just slightly slower than the soldier. No one would use the the thing if it wasn’t for random crits. Especially when the eyelander is a thing

Brick has discovered the exact reason I dropped $30 on a strange skinned pro ks sckullcutter. I even use it when I'm playing normal Demo. It's just so funny.
Brick idk if you've already done this but on a normal non medieval server you gotta play as scout-knight (use the three rune blade, no guns, and crit a cola maybe)
i prefer using the madmilk and the sandman together in medieval. both of them slow enemies hit which makes it easier to swarm them, and ofc the milk heals everyone who lands a hit on the victim
id say that they should let the loose cannon in medieval mode also medic is insane in burghausen i went god like with the crossbow and amputator THE FRICKING AMPUTATOR it has a 20% damage PENALTY same with the warriors spirit it has a similar problem to the skullcutter where it crits every single time you can also stop the gate like in degroot keep but only with crossbow arrows

delfy will go all the way to find a exploit on this map 😅 just like the one u can inf make the control point not be capped by other team if u stay on it crounched as scout in ceilling.

There has always been a movement speed reduction
@@jc_art_ reading the weapon history, since it was added in 2010. The speed penalty used to be passive until it was changed to “when active” in 2014.
