- This week’s vlog is full of exciting events and updates! We’re almost done with the kitchen and bathroom renovations, and it’s such a relief to finally use those spaces, even if there are still some finishing touches. I also chat about juggling family life-Simon is away for business, the boys are home from school, and Coco’s riding lessons have had their ups and downs.
I couldn’t resist a trip to Waitrose for some gorgeous tea towels that match the kitchen's colourways perfectly, plus I share some festive goodies that arrived. I chat a little about my Christmas courses, perfect for anyone feeling holiday stress, with practical tips I’ve refined over the years.
I also attended two fabulous events. Up first was the relaunch of 'In The Country Magazine' where I met the wonderful Holly Thomson, who celebrates modern British countryside life. It was great to meet Holly in person and support her as she reintroduced this wonderful quarterly publication. Her passion for country living really shines through in each issue, making it a gem for anyone who loves rural life.
Next, a Trinny London event for their new Take Back Time eye cream. The highly knowledgeable team walked us through how the product works to target fine lines and puffiness, and what really stood out to me was the inclusion of innovative ingredients like proteins and ashwagandha-Trinny is definitely one to watch if you’re looking for effective skincare!

First off, your kitchen is stunning! When I got a glimpse today as the video began of the green cabinetry and sunshine spilling through the windows-it all made me so happy for you! I love it and as we are renovating and moving in a new to us home ourselves, gives me the hope that ours too will one day be finished up. Thoroughly enjoyed your vlog as always. I am so pleased all coming together so well which is down to you and Simon I am sure. On reflection think cream tiles are probably sensible to future proof things. I shall look forward to some dressage outings there are normally plenty of low key ones just to get the two of them out without pressure. Their flat work looks as though it has really come on in leaps and bounds. I am also looking forward to progress on the stables. Hope to catch up on Tuesday. Enjoy half term with the family special times that go too quickly.😊

Lovely vlog as always Charlie! I'm 2 weeks in to a 3 month journey living in italy! I'm enrolled in an italian language school in montepulciano for the month before i go north to Florence in November. Your vlog is making me miss England but in all the best ways! I love how your home has turned into a warm and cozy place! Love the green cabinets in the kitchen! You look great too , Charlie! I’m the same age at you and I can totally understand where you are coming from with weight. My problem is my mid section. 😢 clothes fit a bit differently in your forties 😅. High cortisol levels are a result from stress. You’ll level out!
Trigwell cosmetics powder is brilliant for setting makeup and eliminates shine. Like you, I do a lot of filming and noticed the constant shine on my forehead 😩 but that powder has completely changed it.
