I have the same splitter: love the splitter, but the design causes the split log to nearly fall onto the fuel tank and/or hydraulic reservoir filler cap. Using your design, I built a similar setup. The table prevented the fuel tank issue, plus really saves my back. Many thanks for the vid!
Thank you. But if you make one. Add a second pair of hole in the middle. And yes the table dose keep the logs from hitting those. I do plan on adding a smaller table to the other side. I keep dropping logs on my feet. Lol. Good luck.
I’ve watched lots of log splitter vids and checked out the price of log tables and other extras with your ideas and equipment it’s so much cheaper and custom! Fantastic
That’s why I made it. Was way to much money to buy. I do a lot of welding and fab work. I thought it was easy to do. I’m sure you can do it. The hardest part was figuring out the angels. As you can tell I screwed that up a few times. Lol. But hay we learn from our mistakes. Good luck.
Nice log table. I have the same log splitter. I made a table, too. Also made a log lifter attached to the end with a small truck bed frame and electric winch. Works great and saves my back. Love the log splitter.
American maker where did you buy that plasma cutter for 130 dollars it must of being in the 80 s ....Good buy I like to get one for that prize ...good video
I'm Subscribed brother, I'm an American Patriot as well an, Ill hit the like button for you, i appappreciate the nice connotent as well!! I have a Splitting firewood video you might like as well!🤘
Thank you my fellow patriot. It’s been so long since I have made a video. I really need to move my ass. I think I’ll make a comeback with a forge build.
Why don't you guy switch the back stop and wedge around modify it where it's a push thru and build a log lift and switch out the Valve into a auto return that also have one that control the log lift. I think you'll have on hell of a log splitter if you do these modifications.
You guys are already have the skills to make these modifications. I don't. Talking to all that have the same type splitter. All these designs and most likely made in China.

I bought one of those plasma cutters, used it for years cut 3/8 plate with no trouble. Try turning your torch into the direction of travel.

Love the log splitter.
Would love to see that work. Sounds like a good tool.
@@americanmaker8608 I hate autocorrect. Truck bed crane, not frame.

Thank you. It is most useful. Saves the back a lot. Now only if I can figure out how to get the logs up on it. Lol. Glad you like it.
@@americanmaker8608 I bought a LogOX . I only have an electric 5 ton log splitter for now . It’s a homelite but works pretty good .
Good job
Like your little machine shop
