Wonderful! Not only was this a joy to watch for the level of skill and craftsmanship, but I love your workspace, the fact you’re in your slippers and hearing you sing while you work. You make it look effortless, the end result is stunning. Bravo!
This is so inspirational! At home, with the minimal use of machinery, making a guitar that eats other guitars for breakfast, and singing in the process 😄 you're my idol hahahaha
There is something so soothing about watching a really skilled person doing what they were born to do. Your video also shows the incredible amount of work that goes in to creating an acoustic guitar! What a pleasure to watch
Weiter so! LG Thomas
please keep meaking videos like this, was so relaxing that i didnt realize it was almost an hour video. Anyway flawless guitar I truly love it. Saludos desde Uruguay
Absolutely fabulous. So much patience and love for every little thing. Each handcrafted instrument keeps the warmth of hands and has a unique sound. Thanks a lot for making live instruments and for putting a piece of your soul into them. Best wishes from Russia
Wow. Some of your methods are ingenious. Best guitar build video I've seen. I have all the wood for a build but I find getting started a little bit daunting. You certainly have put this in perspective for me. Time to get glueing I think. Beautiful guitar too and it sounds great. Really well done.
Well, try out the steps with a scrapwood guitar first and you'll learn a lot from that. My first one form scrapwood took me about 6 months, building from time to time between my real work and life, with only the ordinary tools I had at home. Now I need a week for a guitar, in between real life and work, so you certainly will get the idea of it quickly. Something that helps me is to always remember that with a material like wood you almost can fix anything that goes wrong. ;-) Good luck with your first build.
Wow! You really know your shit!!! I especially like the relief cut on the top of the body. I bet it makes it very comfortable playing..especially playing while setting down.. its a beautiful guitar
I absolutely loved this video. The attention to detail and the design and craftsmanship is wonderful!!! I am so envious of whomever will be the lucky winner of this guitar!!!
Thank you for sharing. Looks great and sounds wonderful. Quick note....... Your humming on some of the shots was so relaxing and therapeutic. Take care, be well and be blessed for sharing your skills with us.
When I saw the intro video I thought it would be nice to watch the build, but you really blew my mind!!! Gorgeous guitar, very thorough craft and detailing, Congrats
I must say, I find the combination of stark professionalism and a certain home-shop vibe very interesting. I also much prefer this over watching someone do sloppy work in a fullblown workshop. Beautiful instrument.
Beautiful guitar build. I love watching you build these guitars, learn a lot, it's fun just like playing music. Keep building, soon I will be trying this on my own. I have a great teacher in you the rest I'll figure out in time. Thank you:)
Hello Gabriele. Your videos are very inspiring. I have appreciated your creativity and quality of your guitars and the ingenious tools and jigs you have made. I have been daunted by feeling I could not build a quality instrument at home, but you proved to me that it can be done and without extremely expensive tools. Thanks and I look forward to watching more of your videos.
I really enjoyed watching your build and wish you could do more videos. Your guitar turned out beautiful and looks so comfortable to play. Your attention to detail and selection of materials is outstanding. Please do some more builds for us to watch. Thank you.
You truly seem to love your work. That guitar is a work of art and you should be so proud. I am sure Ben at Crimson Guitar will love it too. Sorry, but it will get quite a few bids and you will have to say goodbye to it. Don't worry, I am sure the next guitar you build will even be better! By the way, this video was better than anything I could find on tv tonight.
Wonderful! I watched pretty much all of the build videos in GGBO 2020 and I'm certain you would have made the top 5 at least. I've kept fairly up with GGBO 2021 and IMHO you're a country mile ahead of all of those to have made a video so far.
Incredible! Its a great competition, and I watched so many videos last year but to be honest I think I enjoyed this more than any of the ones I watched, despite there being some exceptional builds. When the build went from looking like a more standard acoustic, to then adding more and more detail and complexity I was hooked, and the final result is modern, yet still classy and tasteful. You would be a worthy winner!
Love it, not so scared to build one now, I had a maple back & sides Guild Jumbo F-50 but someone thought they deserved it more than myself, miss that ole girl, I loved watching you make this modern Jumbo, top notch.
I stumbled on this after I put a pickup in my acoustic guitar. I was feeling pretty good about myself doing my own work. My lofty opinion of my luthier skills has been put in check haha. Kind of like changing a lightbulb and thinking your an electrical engineer.
Nicely done. Great all around build skills too. Some personal preferences you did I am not a fan of but the inlays and binding are spot on. The sound of it even thru a camera mic sounds really nice and warm. Nice work on the edit too. Not to long with a good mix of different parts of the process. I think I will take some of what you did and apply it to my final submission as well even though I am just doing a kit build.
beautiful build! meditative to watch you work! wonderful outcome! congrats! Also funny to listen to you sing and whistle at 4x the regular speed haha, cheers from Bavaria
Great video, enjoyed that. About to go and watch the 2022 version! As a fellow builder its great to see the way others do it. Was very impressed by the simple side bender. Love the fretboard inlays.
Loved the video, and so nice to see you incorporate the Laskin arm rest and top hole. Beautiful work. I just built my first guitar from a kit and am about to give a full build a go. Should be interesting.
Bonjour Gabriele, je viens de découvrir votre travail, et j'ai beaucoup apprécié cette vidéo. Travail magnifique, instrument superbe, vraiment que du bonheur !!! Merci de nous faire partager tout cela !!! Cordialement, Th. Hello Gabriele, I just discovered your work, and I really enjoyed this video. Magnificent work, superb instrument, really that happiness !!! Thank you for sharing all of this with us !!! Sincerely, Th.
One of my best guitar build video by far. I hope to someday be able to make beautiful instruments like this one. Lots of cool tone woods are available here in Uganda.
I spent the whole video wondering why on Earth you left the circle inlay with an incomplete spot. It seemed so odd for someone taking such attention to detail and with such incredible craftsmanship. And then I saw that the neck covered that spot and it all made sense. Thank you so much for your work, it was entertaining and enjoyable watching your skills.
I absolutely loved watching this. It's very calming to see such craftswomanship go into a guitar. I'd be really curious to see what the auction will end up being.
A stunning beauty, love the entire process with attention to the small details and the originality and aesthetic twists. Hats off Gabriele !

This is probably the best-looking acoustic I think I've ever seen. Man alive you're doing good work.
There is something so soothing about watching a really skilled person doing what they were born to do.

What a pleasure to watch
Of all the guitar building and guitar repair videos I watch, yours are absolutely my favourites. That’s a beautiful build. Thank you.
You're welcome. It's nice to see someone likes it. :-) [Humbled and blushing.]
Amazing job, very well done Gabriele.. Pure Art!

Finest luthier on the internet, imo. You do amazing work, true traditional craftsmanship, not one corner cut. Thanks for the education.
Well, as I said before, I'm not really a luthier but a hobbyist. But thank you very much for the kind words. Cheers, Gabi. :-)

This is the most beautiful guitar you've made of all the ones we've seen on the channel!
Well done,
Turned out a beautiful end result - I love it!

Awesome. I really enjoyed watching the build! The guitar looks awesome!
Superb Work Gabriele!

Beautiful guitar. It was a pleasure watching this video. Superb luthiery!!! Well done!!!
Some really beautiful work. Sounds great too. A very different way of braces and such thinking outside of the way most guitars are built.
Lovely video. I like the mix of jigs and freehand. There is a part of you that will always remain with this guitar. ❤
Beautiful craftsmanship from a sure-handed luthier. Thank you!
The sign of a master of their craft is they make it look oh so simple. It’s not. Superb build indeed.
I stumbled on this after I put a pickup in my acoustic guitar. I was feeling pretty good about myself doing my own work.

This is a great example of why a fine guitar is so expensive!!! Beautifully done!!!

I dig the accuracy of your craft... and the makeshift solutions too. 2 thumbs up on the car battery as a bench weight. Very pretty result.
One of my best guitar build video by far. I hope to someday be able to make beautiful instruments like this one. Lots of cool tone woods are available here in Uganda.
You left me totally speech-less, incredible!
