A beautiful guitar with a beautiful tone as well. The inlay work on the neck and headstock is incredible, just a pity that this was not shown in the build sequence along with the rib contouring. Outstanding craftsmanship throughout. My appreciation for showing your skills, sir.

Beautiful. I find it hard to put much confidence in much of this however after seeing the old switcheroo at the end. Where did all that inlay come from? **POOF** hours of abalone inlay that was not there two seconds ago!

As far as I can think of, the only well known Japanese guitar makers are Yairi, Morris, Astorias, Headway, Yamaha, and Takamine. If guitars are to be compared, they should be compared in the same price range. Not that I am Japanese, but all Japanese guitars in the higher price range are excellent.
Perhaps the person who made this comment is impressed by the careful workmanship of this individual maker, though…^_^
THe thing must remember is not only the individual makers, but also all those who work for the guitar makers, work with conviction.
That is a lovely guitar, and has a really nice sound.

@@micheloderso I think the producers of the video are out to highlight Japanese craftsmanship and are not trying to do a 'guitar build walkthrough'. Still, it was pleasure to watch. Their other videos are great.
@@marekbage Yes of course. I love Guitars made in Japan, i own two Ibanez made in Japan. The craftmanship is undiscussed and outstanding. But if you title a video "Making of ....." - a special Instrument, and you see the Production of 5 Guitars then you should be irritadet.
So great to see a builder bend by hand. Everyone has gone to machines and hand bending is a dying art. They dont even teach it in the luthiery schools. Ive been hand bending for 40 years.

По моим ощущениям обертоны гитары идеально подходит для игры в среднем регистре. Очень сочный звук, резонанс прекрасный. Диапазон нижнего регистра чувствуется "размазанным и не собранным звуком", регистр верхней тесситуры неплох, но хочется слышать больше "светлоты в тоне звука", не хватает обертонов высокой частоты.
В целом, отличная 🎸 😊
