I have 4 XL and it's a fantastic phone. Love the face unlock. Just wish the battery life was better. If this phone had a extra camera lense and a bigger battery then this phone would have been complete.
I bought this phone when it was new and still am using it today. Everything about this phone is perfect except the battery life. it's so short that I would answer that it's NOT worth buying anymore. I've been using it since 2019 and the battery has degraded enough to get me 3 to 3.5hrs screen on time. If you want an older Pixel I would suggest the 4a or 5 which have much bigger batteries. The 4 isn't worth it unless you are fine with carrying around a battery pack everywhere.
I was a long term google user all the way back to the Nexus and I swear my pixel 4 was the best phone I've ever had so fast and smooth the camera was insane
you are better off with 3x or more tele but telephoto zoom lens is crucial optical choice when you want to compress the far away subject or.. just portrait landscape shots with background far away. that's why I want to pixel 7 pro in a pixel 5 size. there's a key factor why iPhone 13/14 pros exist.
I love my pixel 4, and I don't want to upgrade because I love the face unlock feature so much, I use it to sign into alot of apps as well, it's so much quicker/easier than fingerprint scanner
@15 yo with no limits I actually just replaced my battery myself because the original one was starting to swell and was making the back bulge out. But now with a new oem replacement battery it lasts all day for me, and I play some games, facebook/youtube/snapchat a lot and it lasts all day from 7am to around 7pm with about 25-30% battery remaining. I have a few things changed, like adaptive lighting so it only gets bright when needed, I changed the displays refresh rate lower so it uses less battery also. There's a lot of videos on settings to turn off to not drain the battery as fast
@15 yo with no limits it was a third party battery from Amazon, but it was one that had the highest reviews and was the same size as an OEM battery, and was literally $15 bucks for the battery and all the tools needed to swap it out. Don't fall for the batteries that say there bigger than factory ones because they usually don't work lol ask me how I know!
I had the little 4 and I've had a bunch of Nexus phones always been a fan of Google and stock loved rooting my phone's but the way Android has grown into what it is today I don't feel a need to but I'll tell you one thing my pixel 4 was the best smartest phone I've ever had awesome camera also software great build and perfect size 5.7 inches I lost mine and really wanna get another one just don't know if it's worth it or just get a pixel 5 for now what do you guys think
I have the 4XL. And try playing Fortnite on it on low. 100% 30FPS and still lags :/ even lowered 3d resolution and does the same. But play PUBG mobile and call of duty and plays the games on the highest settings
I still use it. Great size! I keep RAW+JPEG setting on always, incase I capture an important shot I want to use. The RAW photos out of this thing are comparable to phones of today.
Hi what's the usual battery temperature when using the phone moderately I recently bought a refurbished P4 but it gets warm to touch pretty fast thank you
Why do you have so less subscribers? You deserve so much more.
Keep it up and good luck !
Brand new for $259 on Amazon, very tempting
Yes I have my oh so orange pixel 4!!! Classic!!!!
Does the phone overheat every second when using the camera!
I love this phone, one day i'll get one.
I feel you on the pocket ability. I catch myself putting my Pixel 6 everywhere else besides my pocket because of the size of it.
Bro your hand is so big
Bro... Your hands are so big
It's a gift...and a curse
My camera just failed after 13 update..bummed.. I love the 4xl so much so I returned mix pixel 6… greatest phone of all time

How much does the battery last? Does it last a full day?
@@khixrForgor mine lasts all day
And I love the matte finish with the liquid air case and the Google fabric case for special occasions great phone loved mind
Maybe you should consider the pixel 7 pro. Still has face unlock, the big screen, infact, a much bigger screen, and way better battery
@@AmmarVanKorsha True but the face unlock can't be used with banking apps and such on the pixel 7 unlike the Pixel 4
Thank you. I am considering getting this phone.
Unlimited google storage , face unlock that works, great form
Good phone, nice size... Just had to go back to 3xl because of the battery...

Thanks for that
3 to 3.5 hours screen on time after 3 years it's not bad .

How's the battery in 2022 bro ?
I like keeping phones for 3-4 years maximum.
I had pixel 4, i sold it. I get eyestrain all the time🤣 switched to Xperia 1♥️
Have a pixel 4 XL. What can we do now that Google terminated security updates? Possibly graphene OS?
I mainly use the Pixel Experience. It's pretty much stock google.
@@techspec1 do you get security updates on the custom ROM after EOL?
@@kimiATI7750 Yes certain custom ROMS provide security updates. They will usually tell you if it is included.
have the pixel 2 and looking to upgrade for a small fee, this may fit the bill
I’d go for the XL version for battery life if you do pick one up
@@techspec1 thanks, but I don't like large phones
youll get unlimited cloud storage for using pixel 5 backwards right?
Yes I have unlimited storage for photos and videos
@@techspec1 Alright! thanks for the info. I forgot to subscribe wait
I want to get a second phone because i work in a hospital but I’m stuck between getting this, a iPhone 8 or iPhone SE (2020)
Is it worth buying in 2023 considering the Android updates for next 2-3 years ?

Hi. Love this video! may I know what is the theme that you are using on your pixel 4 in this video? I like it. It's minimalistic.
Thanks! I always use lawn chair launcher. The icon pack is called Delta
just bought for 100$. worth it!
where you bought it

Is it me or thr phone looks smaller
it's because the dude has HUGE hands 😅
What happens when Google stops supporting security? Now sure how that works.

It gets a little warm to the touch when using it, but not really hot
A definite no, why? Motherboard is a ticking time bomb and will fail
