Amazing video once again! The architecture was incredible and that auditorium/theater was incredible! The video flowed well as always and this one if edited by you was amazing! The intro gave me Proper People vibes again man lol.
Thanks Jeff, means a lot. The theater was incredible to walk up on, it really was a jaw dropping moment. Thanks man, I really appreciate the kind words. Would love to film with them one day.
I loved, loved, loved this! Your skills are getting better with each video, your proff should be extra proud. Sorry I'm late, was a little busy with something and time got away from me! I will catch up on last weeks video tonight, looking forward to it.
So so glad you loved it, definitely drop a comment on last weeks too!!! That means a lot to me, thank you for the kind words:) I’ll tell Bryan that, I’m sure it’ll make his day. This was one of, if not my favorite video I’ve edited and posted so far. Thanks for the comment and support as usual:)
Let's goooo!!! I've been waiting for this!! 0:40 beautiful view, and I'm loving the history of this place already 1:00 the whole entire place is just beautiful 😍 2:22 those curtains are in perfect condition!! 😮 2:37 a room once full of hundreds of loud people, all gone silent 3:06 that view is just incredible 4:45 bro i don't even remember the last time i saw a square clock either 6:01 those chalk drawings are beautiful 6:36 the walking dead 7:25 im a sucker for old architecture like that 8:00 that is a very beautiful floor 9:14 sup jenny and joe Yeah i don't know what's up with people putting dolls inside abandoned places lol, unless it's to comfort the spirit's there?? 9:19 looks like that butterfly wanted to explore with you guys 😂🦋 9:48 wow....that natural growth... that's amazing 🤩 11:26 wooden swings?! WOODEN SWINGS?!? thats so cool!!! Bro I've never even seen a wooden swing in person only the plastic ones 12:12 that bathroom looks like you can just start running the water any time 13:14 i don't know whats better that stairwell or those floors it's all so amazing! 14:35 makes me wonder ahy they took some stuff off but not everything 15:04 they really don't make things like they used too 18:05 a abandoned present?! That HAS to be a first!! 18:58 i wonder what they've been planning to do with the place 🤔 19:18 a room full of circled chairs will never not be creepy 21:10 RIP cat 🐈 22:12 beautiful view 22:31 it does look like a octopus 🐙 lol 25:05 reminds me of the painted walls at the prison hospital 26:07 y'all found the proper people's tub lol that's awesome 😎 27:09 finding a old record player like that is like finding a dinosaur, that's awesome 28:12 I'd have the same facial expression lol I've never seen a bathtub like that in person 🛁 amazing! 29:21 ao that's what those are... prison hospital also had those 29:56 looks like a machine used to clean something?? 🧐 Also this place is der than forest haven, since it was established in 1913 and forest haven was established in 1925 so this place has aged very differently from forest haven, crazy to think about 31:51 oh yeah, the morgue 👻👻 This place was a GEM! 💎 great video as always brother, love ending the week off watching your vids and always being here to support you!!
Appreciate you man. Thanks for watching, I can’t wait for our next explore together. Def hit me up to talk abt this place, soooo many cool aspects of it. From the morgue to the outside architecture- it’s all mind boggling. Appreciate you as always Tev
I remember when they began shutting down all the asylums and what the psych nurses were saying at the time about how society wasn't ready for it and couldn't handle all the mentally ill without them. All those people were turned loose and some ended up in prison or on the streets homeless.
It’s too bad none of the buildings were modernized and repurposed after being shut down- beautiful architecture on a nice piece of land. Crazy the horrors that happen on top of such beauty. Wish I got to be a fly on the wall to experience how asylums used to run. Thanks for watching :)
That’s a good observation, but it those shower heads were a good foot shorter than me- so unless all the women were under like 4 feet I’m not sure how they would have a practical shower? That and the institution was open for 30 odd years where they could have done smaller modifications? Confusing to me. Thanks for the comment :) hope you enjoyed
@@TheLukeExplores Okay! 🙂 8:05 We had the same tile floor when I was in school. I went sent to private school. 12:00 This entire place has the same architectural style as Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. The hospital always reminded me of an asylum and it always creeped me out. 15:12 Floor polisher from the 80’s. If you find a working one, I highly recommend trying to ride on this. 😂 22:00 I am very confused about the paint being so new. 25:25 Not the morgue. Just hydrotherapy. 26:28 Where bedpans are emptied and cleaned. Don’t ask how I know. 😂 30:55 Metal and autoclaveable plastic only in the autoclave. Again, don’t ask me how I know that. 🫣 Also autoclaves are used to sterilize surgical instruments for the living and the dead, and perhaps even for the monsters under your bed. 😮
@@rescuegirl 1. my private school was older and less modern but they had bigger tiles, confusion because as far as I know they never upgraded. 2. The mental hospital/asylum vibe is very similar. Similar instruments, and lots of suffering. Don’t ask me why they’re my favorite type of abandoned place 😂 3. The floor polisher was one of the cooler shots imo. I had no idea, I won’t forget that next time. 4. Even to this day, I don’t have much of an answer. I would say someone was cleaning it up but it really looked like someone lived in there for some time. 5. Got to love hydrotherapy. Tubs never get old. 6. Had to look up what bedpans were 😂 7. Would the autoclave spin or anything? Seems like an easy way to break a bunch of expensive equipment. 8. Hope you enjoyed. Thanks as always for the comment, look for my email this coming week. Hope you are well
@@TheLukeExplores Autoclaves just get really hot with a little steam and the pressure builds up in there. Anything that can burn turns to ash that gets baked on. Ever burned dinner? Multiply that experience by about 10,000 times. You get the idea. Modern facilities often have large signs that state stainless steel only. I will keep an eye out for your email. 👀
FYI guys I know I forgot to choose a chair of the episode AGAIN. I promise it will not happen next video!

The clarification that you’re not the fbi or police😂

The place was first built as a women’s facility you said - possibly why shower heads are lowered. Women usually shorter than men
