Now that you've heard all the women, react to "Disney Heroes & Villains Medley" for solos from all 6 Voctave men. Voctave's rendition of "Somewhere" from West Side Story features solos from all 11 members, so check that out. 2 of their best works to date are "Over the Rainbow" (from The Wizard of Oz) and their epic "Prince of Egypt Medley" (audio only). Their entire catalogue is truly exceptional.
Kate Lott is the soprano who hits the whistle notes and sang Snow White. She hits an f6 twice in this song. In the early days of Voctave, they did a collaboration with Kirstin Maldonado (PTX) and her ex-fiancée Jermey Michael Lewis doing called Disney Love Medley. In this video, they are standing around a piano practicing and Kate hits a whistle note, causing both Kirstin and Jermey to stop and be in complete awe. If you really want to hear Kate hit a high note, listen to Voctave’s Mary Did You Know with Mark Lowry. She hits a G6 in it. Prince of Egypt medley and Great Movie medley really shows off her skills beyond holding a whistle note. You cannot go wrong with anything they do. If you want to hear more from the other soprano, Tiffany Coburn, check out The Impossible Dream. They did a live version with an orchestra and choir. Glad you enjoyed this. And yes, their name is short for vocal octave. I think as a group they have at least a 5 octave range.
I may be wrong, but I don't think Kate lott hits a whistle note. It sounds like she uses head voice but is operatically trained. Many sopranos are capable of using head voice above F6 and only use whistle register around the end of the 6th octave/beginning of 7th.
Cool thing with Voctave, they sound exactly like this live. Other groups have their videos with a lot of post production and then live it’s good, but missing elements. On mic or off mic, Voctave sound like this. These men and women are literally some of the absolute best in the world at this art form.
Voctave might not be as well-known as Pentatonix. Home Free, and VoicePlay... but from a vocal talent perspective, Voctave is the best a cappella choral group I have heard. Disney? They do it! Classics like Somewhere over the Rainbow and the Impossible Dream... they KILL it. Fun medleys, sincere ballads.... they do it. Pick anything from their list. Great reaction!!
I had no idea that you hadn't reacted to this group yet... This is an amazing rabbit hole to go down and I mean that... I see some good songs suggested in the comments already but I would add that you should check out their Christmas songs as well... Especially " Where are you Christmas"... Great reaction guys... I truly hope you play some more voctave... We will all be looking for it...Keep Being Awesome !!!...
Definitely check out Disney Heros and Villians so you can get a taste of the male vocalists. There are many many things to checkout down this rabbit hole. The Great Movie Medley, Disney Prince of Egypt is just sound track, no video, but I'd wait until you become more familiar with the singers so you can identify each part and who is singing. They did a video with Kirsten Maldanado from Pentatonix and her once Fiance Jeremy Michael Lewis call Disney Love Medley. They did A Million Dreams with a huge acapella choir. Ashley Espinosa, who sang Reflection on this video was pregnant at the time and still up there singing. The "Snow White Girl" is the one and only Kate Lott. She is one of the most amazing vocalists I've ever heard. Also, every single one of them either currently works for or has previously worked for Walt Disney World in Orlando. They, especially Kate Lott, sing in the acapella group Voices of Liberty at the World Pavillion America at Epcot. There are actually some UA-cam videos of Voices of Liberty you could watch . Anyway, I have never heard them make a bad song. So have fun. Yes it is Voctave as in Vocal Octave.
This is the group that EJ. Cardona is in. He is the third guy from the left. He has done two videos with VoicePlay. Go The Distance and I Can't Make You Love Me. His younger brother Omar Cardona has done a few videos, minis, and shorts with them and was on the Voice.
I AM A VOCTAVE SUPERFANATIC AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE VOCTAVE AND HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING AND WATCHING THEIR CAREER FOR YEARS!!!!! Here Are The Next Videos Of Theirs That You Guys Absolutely Have To And Must Watch And React To : -THE GREAT MOVIE MEDLEY -DISNEY SHOWSTOPPERS -DISNEY LOVE SONGS WITH KRISTIN MALDONADO (From PENTATONIX & Her Ex-Fiance Jeremy Michael Lewis FEAT. VOCTAVE!!!!!
Now that you've heard from the ladies of Voctave, you'll want to meet the guys. The "Disney Heroes & Villains Medley" introduces to the men of Voctave. Other recommendations include "Someone Like You"from "Jekyll & Hyde", The Great Movie Medley (a tribute to John Williams), "Where are You Christmas?" (tissues at the ready, please), "O Come All Ye Faithful", and "Remember Me" (form "Coco"). Voctave is incredible and you can't really go wrong with anything they've done.
This group is awesome - most (if not all of them) are current or former members of the 'Voices Of Liberty' at Walt Disney World, and the guy on the far left is an award-winning barbershop performer as well...!
If you want to hear Voctave at their best? Please listen to "Mary did you Know" featuring Mark Lowery, who wrote this song! Truly an outstanding performance worth listening over and over!!! Great reaction guys!!!
They have so many songs that will blow your mind. I recommend; O Come all ye Faithful, O Holy Night, Prince of Egypt, Where are you Christmas, Disney Love Medley w/ Christin Maldanado from PTX and every song they do.
At the point where you paused, Kate ( the Snow White singer) hit a sustained F6, and sang it as if it was normal to do ! F6 is a ridiculously high and hard to sustain note !
Pretty good, huh!?! Voctave is an incredible a cappella singing group. They are a little different than the other great groups like Home Free, Pentatonix and VoicePlay in that they are larger and have no beatboxer. But for pure harmony, they can't be beat. Your previous commenters have already provided a lot of good suggestions for future reactions. I would recommend (in no particular order) Disney Love Medley, which features Kirsten from Pentatonix, Disney Heroes & Villains featuring each of Voctave's men, O Come All Ye Faithful, and Mary, Did You Know which features Mark Lowry who co-wrote the song. You won't be disappointed with anything they've done. I look forward to many more of your reactions.
Hi guys! Wonder if you can listen to one of my favorites. I'm a rock fan, the song is called hallowed ground (with lyrics) the band is WASP. IT A ROCK BALLAD.
I know you guys like Skynyrd listen and watch Molly Hatchet live and video of “Dreams I’ll Never See “ Ronnie Van Zant was going to be there producer until to horrible day
Well that is indeed some world class lip syncing! This group does a ton more Disney stuff, so I hope you indulge yourselves and enjoy this amazing collection of vocalists.
I felt the same way, but that's genuinely how some people best process and enjoy music. But yeah, it's hard to watch and does make me wonder whether she even heard any of the music. If not, hopefully she listens again to enjoy it without a camera rolling.

Now you have to react to “Disney heroes and villains” by Voctave. Thanks for a great reaction! Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
Her singing along with that huge smile really makes the reaction!
Suzi living her best life and Travis loving everyone ❤
Thanks guys! I love this medley and I loved watching Suzi "sing" all the songs with such passion. 😍
I was just amazed that Suzi knew all the words to these..!! I'm guessing she has watched all of these with her kids? 😉
can't go wrong with anything they do. their version of Oh Come All Ye Faithful is incredible

It's the spot-on lip syncing for me - every single word - that makes me love this reaction! ❤
Yes, absolutely... I was very impressed that Susie knew every word of every song... She is a Disney princess in her own right.

If you want to hear the men singing, check out their Heros and Villians video :)

Their recent cover of Somewhere (from West Side Story) shows off each singer’s voice.
If you want to hear Voctave at their best? Please listen to "Mary did you Know" featuring Mark Lowery, who wrote this song! Truly an outstanding performance worth listening over and over!!! Great reaction guys!!!
If you liked this for sure check out the live medley they did with Kristin from penatonix
Git it, Suzie!🤠

Suzy!!?? You are into several genres of music. You continue to impress me.
You should react to Voctave- Disney Heroes and Villains Medley and Voctave Mary had a baby
This wasn't even a reaction...this was just her mouthing along the entire time.
They all have or are still singing with the Voices of Liberty at Epcot. Voctave is pronounced just like octave (oktiv).
Plees reaktion too Nick Pitera one Disney movie medly its amazing hes so cool 😊😊😊
