Sad to see people call these yesteryear greats copycat. Anyone with a fairly decent understanding of composing or playing would know that you never just think of a tune out of your head. The western audience seems to have grasped this concept since they appreciate 'sampling' and music arrangement (or as they say, music production) is given it's due. RD, in the peak of his powers, was at par with any musical maestro of the 20th century. His understanding of Rhythm, instruments and his skill set of arranging music is god like. I bet he is among the very few who's compositions will be enjoyed appreciated and favoured by fans of the actual sample. A true musical genius with the irony being his style, which is often copied but NEVER replicated. In fact I was simply awestruck by the sheer flow of his music, while I was cooking in the morning listening to a song called "Aisa Sama Na hota". That song is a good example of what I mean. Pay attention to the music between the lines.

Well Conservatism is a social philosophy which implies traditionalism. And I don't believe in sticking to traditions for the sake of it. In fact it means little for me in itself.
