The greatest thing about Craig is that he made every guest feel like they were just having a casual chat as friends not on a "talk show". He never talked about what the guest was there to promote unless the guest did it first.

I've always loved Sir Michael. I really enjoy his British films, usually smaller, independent films in which his range and abilities are shown. He has always been a fantastic actor. But as he got older his ability to draw people in to his character's world seemed effortless and magical.
Michael Caine has always been a great man, husband and father, and a fantastic actor. I had a collection of 40-50 movies of him on VHS and DVD which I donated to my local library. My favorites are Harry Palmer series along with ‘Man who would be king’.
Michael Caine is my favourite actor. So genuine and real. I remember when he was interviewed by Norman Gunston (Australian comedian) and it was hilarious.
Every question.. Not a Yes Or no.. A , "You know it was very funny".. or " You know that is an interesting story" or "Theres a little story attatched to that".. It keeps the viewer intrigued and I bet the chat show hosts love Micheal, as we all do.
Mr Smooooth. Style, class, charisma, and a sense of ease and comfort. Michael Caine is like a fine wine which ages gracefully. Thank you for the compilation.

Blew my mind when I saw it, just before leaving a small town in Vermont; ended up in Atlanta a week later. As soon as I got a job I got a library card and checked this out- a mere forty pages and Kipling was able to develop this story which the filmmakers kept faith and did a rare justice to.
It's only the second movie Michael Caine and Robert Duvall starred in together. The first one was "The Eagle has Landed". I think it came out in 1976, and it's also a great movie.

Michael Cane has so many classic one liners here. "When I told my father I wanted to be an actor he naturally assumed I was gay." "You think 'I'm very good' and then realize no one else was." (about being in a bad movie)
Probably because Caine is a hero of his but Craig finds him awfully boring to talk to. Not a whole lot of back and forth here, no chemistry, Caine's not listening back... So he's just gotta be polite, try and remember the standard boring questions he ceremonially rips up at the start of the show and let Caine have the audience to himself. Also fun fact, I borrowed the audiobook read by the author " From the Elephant to Hollywood," from the library and I actually lost a disc somehow, unbeknownst to me when I returned it, so I was charged for the whole set of discs and late fees that I don't even own and it took me 2 years to be able to borrow any audio or visual materials again.
