Not much to be said about Morgan God Damn Freeman.
Craig Ferguson in the house.
What I love about these chronological compilations is that you can see the guests slowly fall in love with the show in real time. they all start confused and end up craig's best friend
oh yeah, mila kunis compilation is great too!!
i was literally going to comment that same observation cause its what i loved most about this compilation was how each time Morgan comes on hes clearly more comfortable and more in love with craig more than the time before which is why i came to the comments to check if anyone said it first lol
48:35
How they enter the stage differently and more open each time tells a lot.
@@bcjammer Kristen Bell as well. I was pretty indifferent to her until I watched her 4-hour compilation. It literally made me fall in love with her. Now I hate Dax Sheperd.
Everybody loves Morgan Freeman, so getting to see him goof around and have fun is basically a gift to humanity.
Yeap , gift it is, this f****r is funnnn😊😊😊😊
50:35 Morgan is already fully in love with the show, it's so great to see that. Morgan rightfully remarked to Craig that "nobody else does it". Aside from the opening monologue and guest introductions, Craig ran the show without prompter lingo, without cue cards, and without notes in front of him telling him what he's supposed to talk about, and nobody else does that in late night TV. If you watched Colbert, Letterman, Kimmel, Conan, Fallon, Meyers, Leno, Kilborn - they ALL did/do that. He sometimes briefly touches on talking points but otherwise just has real conversations with people, and it was an amazing run. I miss this show so much, and Craig still remains criminally underrated and underappreciated.
Expressed very well. Nobody comes close to Craig's innate talents. He does it all. And he does it very well. Incomparable. Thanks for your comments.
I agree with you but also say that absolutely loads of people appreciate Craig Ferguson, however he has the type of fame that is cool.
Totally agree. Loved that show...would often stay up late to watch even tho I knew I'd be tired at work the next day.
I was so disappointed -- not to mention perplexed -- when it was cancelled. I think someone made a huge mistake. Craig stood out among all late night hosts. How he ran his show was unique, creative and genuinely funny.... and Craig seemed to do it with such ease.
☹️
@@sessary Craig decided he wanted to move on so it was his choice. I believe he wanted to stop 2 years before but was persuaded to go on a bit longer.
@@sessary yeah I wouldn't have wished a longer run on him. But he was brilliant and he and Conan are the best of the best to me (Seth Myers if he doesn't wear a suit is tolerable, the rest are suits and so on the string of the execs)
This is the only talk show I've seen Morgan Freeman be comfortable and have a good rapport with the host. And his sense of humor is awesome too.
besides Graham Norton on BBC
I noticed that too. I've rarely seen Freeman comfortable with the questions asked.
@@MakeSomeNoisePlaylists He was not comfortable on Graham Norton.
@@FarmerFpv its crazy that he told you
You can tell he likes Craig
The few times I ever see Craig get uncomfortable and awkwardly quiet (besides the awkward pause), is when people genuinely compliment him for his talent. He gets so uncomfortable he looks like he wants to try to deflect the conversation to a different direction. Craig is definitely a humble guy.
he is a lovely guy
As are most normal people who aren’t millennial narcissistic scum.
i think that it has to do with him being an addict....addicts have low self esteem low self worth issues.
That is being a good host
I think Craig always tries to bring a light, funny touch to everything throughout the show. When someone compliments him, there's not much he can say to create a joke out of it. I think he acts like that because simply saying thank you is not funny enough. He also knows that boasting on his own show has absolutely no meaning. Accepting compliments surely is not funny and it's the opposite of his usual self-deprecating humor. I'm not saying he's not humble. But, there's not much more he could do in that situation apart from trying to deflect the conversation, humorously-wise. That's how I interpret his reaction.
Craig is the type of guy that can get along with absolutely anyone, and bring out the best in people. I wish he'd stayed on the air much longer.
Craig Ferguson by far is the most genuinely funniest late night talk show host ever.
Ever.
Watch it. That's Johnny Carson.
@@kingzucode rather Dick Cavett, regarding serious personal discussion and interaction.
Conan also
The 3 Cs of late night: Carson. Craig. Conan. In that order.
I'd be hard-pressed to think of another talk show where Morgan Freeman would be this comfortable... maybe Graham Norton
Maybe not. Morgan Freeman was very much comfortable with Craig compared to when guested on the GNS for the first time in Season 21.
Probably Parkinson
I see Morgan Freeman in a new light. I never knew he had such a sense of humor. He seems like his real-self when he's with Craig, who brings out the best in every guest.
he's usually a horrible guest, quiet doesnt want to participate. sought of never looks particularly enthused.
archilonshadowheart7 yea i can kinda see why though. They always want him to "perform", like some show dog all the time
I wouldn’t have discovered Craig Ferguson without your channel. Bravo!
Glad you found here man :D Thanks!
Same. I didn't know a man could make an awkward pause so funny.
The goat
Same
It was a glory to see it in it's day; wished I had watched more of it when it was on air...
This is the first real interview I've ever heard. Such a relief to hear two smart people talk about subjects other than football, politics or money.
Type 'RHLSTP' into UA-cam search and I think you'll find you've hit the motherlode..!
that’s why I loved craig…all his interviews were like that. he’d make some jokes sure but really most of his questions weren’t joking. he’d ask a serious question, wait for a response then make a joke but then reel it back to serious. he was so amazing at interviewing!!!
I miss this show so much. Love Craig Morgan and loved the spontaneity of this show. Craig made you feel like you were all sitting around in your living room, having drinks and goofy conversations--priceless. NO ONE does it as well as he did...crazy and over the top...but LOVED it!
32:35 The fact the Morgan completely rendered Craig speechless with his compliments really speaks volumes to me about how Craig must've been. Such a down to earth guy, no ego attached whatsoever. Good god i miss this man
That's a crazy way to talk about someone who is alive and still working
That just proves Craig is truly humble
I only just discovered Craig Ferguson a few weeks ago, but I am a huge fan. Morgan Freeman is one hundred percent correct that nobody else just sits down and hold the conversation like Craig. Thank you for posting these I watch them everyday.
A great way to spend almost two hours. Personal and philosophical conversations between two incredibly chill and humble dudes, all for us to watch.
Really ... really loved this. You could see the progression of their friendship with each appearance, and how much MF embraced the uniqueness of his personality and the show. Laughed a lot ... Thanks again JLF
Yours is one of the best comments I've read on this thread.
Exactly what I thought 😍
absolutely heart-warming to see the progress. You could tell after the first appearance that they really hit it off, but the warmth just increased tremendously every time.
@@nogglebeak And ... 4 years later ... I STILL watch Craig's vids made by JLF. (he's the best at Craig, everyone else just copies). And now that Conan is gone ... where's the friggin good Late Nite shows? ...

Robert Doea. Thaaaaaaaaank you
The fact that MF fully embraced Geoff was INE of my favorite things about this show...and that he was on so many times...!
Look away for a moment when Josh talks with Freeman and see if you can tell who's who!! He's amazing!
It was clear on the 1st appearance he was adjusting to a show that he actually enjoyed. After that, he just continued to enjoy himself
Get rid of the jimmies...they are not funny or entertaining
@@brendasears8668 the Jimmys only work to cater to the narcissistic tendencies of celebrities, research and forethought in going to their managers and regurgitating the same boring stories they cook up to promote this “image” into people’s heads. It all boils down to more acting.
Craig throws them off by actually talking to the person, not the image. RDJr’s appearance is another good example of this. I think some celebrities would be uncomfortable with the format of the show, the less down-to-earth and more jaded they are.
Morgan Freeman is the exact opposite of this kind of celebrity, that being obvious by the amount of appearances he’s made, and how much he enjoys talking about the things that are REALLY going on in his life.
Craig’s interviews are the best PR one could ask for, by humanizing what the population tends to view as an object. I will die on this hill. We lost the best talk show/interview show on television and I’m really sad about it.
@@RomTheVacuumedSpider I think one of the big dividers sometimes is "British vs American" talk shows where British are generally more unscripted and loose, versus American ones are a lot more rigid and filled with segments and games (non-jimmys who are guilty of this: Leno, Conan, Ellen, Arsenio). It makes sense that Craig's show is so loose then. A couple of American talk show hosts that i think did really good with interviews were probably Jon Stewart and Dick Cavett, but those are probably the only two I could think of off the top of my head.
I am so thankful to you for this channel. We were robbed of this show in the U.K. No other talk show compares. This bromance is so lit!
Happy you found here bro! Enjoy!
Thank god for UA-cam ehh!
You can have James Corden back.
No, seriously.
The irony of the UK not having Craid available...
@@thisismagacountry1318Senor Corden was such a vessel for advertisment. Craig talked to ppl like they had a brain and intelligence. We r lucky that all this is still available online for years to come.
Craig Ferguson was my absolute favourite chat show host, and no one else comes close. Thank you for all these wonderful uploads. Awesome.
It's always so cool to me when I see how everyone just genuinely likes Craig. A monster talent like Morgan Freeman still falls in love with Craig enough to do the show 10 times and always seems genuinely delighted to talk to him.
This is such a series of intelligent, yet entertaining conversations between Morgan Freeman and Craig Ferguson. It somehow shows how CF has evolved as a talk show host. I enjoyed each "episode".
Thanks for making and posting this video (and others like it), The JayLeno Fly.
Carry on. Godspeed.
Thank you, JLF. You've done a great work on these past CF interview videos as well.
@@TheJayLenoFly I met MF in 2003 at Flighr School Hawaii. I was there working on my private pilot's license and he was logging an IFR flight with an instructor. He had a town car waiting for him un the parking lot the while flight.
He is exactly as he us here. Jovial. Funny, and the center of each conversation un the room. We shared a flight instructor, who shared that he was the best student he had. I truly dig this dude
Talking about AI at least 7 years go.
Craig's comment at 1:24:05 after their conversation is 100% why he's such a treasure. Not just the awareness of the conversation, but the awareness of the conversation's impact on the advertisers, and then making a joke about it.
This dude was way too quick for America.
Agreed!
So talented. We loved him here in the US Midwest.
Freeman and Ferguson, what a team. They have a pretty solid rapport and mutual sympathy. It's a joy to watch.
Dear Fly: sometimes at the end of a hard day, especially, I remember your uploads and can't thank you (or Craig) enough. 🙂🙂🙂
Aren't you one of the wittiest guys on this planet, Mr. Ferguson? Such a delight to be introduced to your shows!
I always knew Graig is a good person, but to be approved by Mr. Freeman.. you have done something right in your life.
I love watching Morgan Freeman, he looks so much like my late father... it brings me a bit of tears but I enjoy his talent so much 🥰
When I listen to these two guys I regain faith in humanity. They are real good people. Would love to have them as friends.
This is a 2 hour love affair, and it's real. I have never seen Morgan so outgoing with anyone else, ever.
it's so heartwarming to see how much these two enjoy each other.
"Hard to play somebody you never met."
"But you played God"

Many people know God and have a personal relationship with him. Read about him through scripture
The series with Morgan Freeman is my new favorite. He is fascinating and his thoughts intriguing. Their discussions were entertaining and thought provoking. They made me laugh and left my mind buzzing and wanting to know more. Thank you!
Craig is/was such a great interviewer, yes he can act weird and goofy with the right guests but with Morgan Freeman he really is a good interviewer through the serious important topics.
Morgan Freedman giving Craig that compliment was spot on. Very touching
Thank you, The JayLenoFly! Your uploads of Craig's shows, and how you have curated, cared for and showcased them, is much appreciated! Once again, genuine THANKS!
50:35 The quiet conversation with Geoff. That was absolutely sick. Ugh, I love this.
It's pretty damn cool how you can see how the friendship develops as the shows progress in time. Great stuff!!!
"You are an extremely talented man" - WORD OF GOD.
Thankyou for preserving this very special underrated series.I really miss this show... Feel like the world would be better with more Craig..jus sayin
I've gotta get this off my chest... Morgan Freeman is my spirit animal. Thank you for putting this together, JayLeno Fly!
Thats one heck of a spirit animal If I may say so. My pleasure, please enjoy!
Craig Ferguson is my spirit animal …
That was an awesome segment. Morgan Freeman and Craig worked really well together, p,aging off each other very well.
Morgan Freeman is an icon! One of, if not THE best and most talented actors ever. Would love to meet this man, what an inspiration
I am a newcomer to Craig. Thanks mainly to your channel. I'm Irish and had seen very little of him in the past. I have digested shedloads of your vids. He is an awesome chat show host and better than any of the other mundane generic crap on US TV. It's amazing to see how at ease the guests are.
I could have written your comment, and when I grow up I hope my letters get as big as yours.
@@kepcar 😂🤣😂
Craig: "I lie a lot"
Freeman says nothing, simply turns his head and casts a long glance towards the exit lmao
Thank you The JayLeno Fly, this is without doubt my most watched channel. I have lost many hours watching your fantastic work! **SUBBED**
Very happy you like my channel bro! Thank you very much! :D Glad you subbed!
"Craig...You are the crazy we need"!!!
Thanks for posting these.
I could listen to Morgan Freeman read the ingredients off a box of cereal - and I'd be happy.
When Morgan realizes he could say "fuck", that's when he knew this was a different show. The very next time he came, he already had a different way of presenting himself and slowly he starts to understand this genius art form only Craig does, free flow conversation with improv comedy snucked in every few minutes with anyone. You can be a millionaire A-list celeb or a random guest who couldn't get a seat for The Price Is Right, it's the same treatment from Craig.
Halfway through this video, Morgan and Craig definitely became friends and I'd say maybe he even watched the show and truly understood it's concept, Craig's silly unique humor and knows why he has to do it again and again until it's no more.
And that's why, Morgan Freeman, who is one of the best actors ever kept coming back. He could have easily said no to his agents but he didn't. That made him more likeable for me. Yes it's not hard coz its Morgan fuckin Freeman but anyone who does this show more than 5 times is cool to me. 10 times, you're a fan of this show and I honestly think Morgan is.
Balls and careful Icarus.
True this!
Both tall men, love to fly, lots in common... they must be fast friends to this day!
Totally! I’m just watching through this now and I definitely see what you mean when Morgan felt right and comfy with the show. After that he just eased into it and really seemed to enjoy hanging out. No one on contemporary American late night tv cultivated ongoing rapport with folks the way Craig did. Most every guest spot felt like just an episode in a continuing friendship.
I was reading this right when it happened!
Every Craig interview sheds light and brings new hope for humanity.
31:48 Craig’s humility as he is getting praised by a legend is incredible and makes him who he is
Craig was underpaid, overworked, not supported by CBS, yet he brilliantly deconstructed the late night format. When you see Colbert walk off camera for a moment or "play" with the camera, that's Craig's influence. But there is no one, no one like Craig who did it faster, smarter, funnier or more genuine. So glad he's here for others to discover. Sorely missed. Deeply grateful.
brooo i don't know how you do this ...but thank you ... and god bless you
Comments like this definitely helps achieve all of this. Thanks man! God bless!

Ur drunk arnt you :-)
Morgan Freeman is in the dictionary, next to the photo of Extremely Cool. The man is flat out Cool. He is one of the few people in this world who is enjoyable to see and listen to. I get such a kick out of Josh's dead on impression of Morgan Freeman and then watching Morgan's reaction is priceless. Watching Craig yank his chains is priceless and Morgan just flowed into it as each appearance progressed.
11:30 This is why Craig is such a good interviewer. He's actually listening.
These videos get me into the "groove" before my presentations. If you are a native speaker, you would never understand how important and useful it is :D . Thanks, JayLeno Fly and thanks Craig.
When you watch Craig talk to people you get a sense that he's a genuine person, that I think is where his charisma is from
I've been watching and listening to these while doing homework on the side. I use to watch Craig when I was younger. I miss his show dearly. Thank you for these! They really make time go by whilst doing anything.
How have I not had this in my life until now! I havent laughed this hard in a long time! Thanks for putting this out there!
What great shows, never enough of Morgan Freemon, the best. One of my favorite actors of all times. Craig you can retire now after this show, cause, you can’t top this one.I am disabled and bed ridden so I guess I will have to wait till his new movie comes out on TV. You are a precious treasure! Being the daughter of an Aeronautical Engineer who designed the cockpit and fuselage of Air Force jets from 1954-1972. This makes him even more precious in my eyes. Thank you for your talents.
I can watch and listen to Morgan Freeman talk for hours ! Amazing person!
The transformation of Morgan not knowing what he got into to falling in love with Ferguson, Geoff and the show was a thrill to watch. This made my day -- six years after The Jayleno Fly 😀😃😄😁published it. Thanks for doing this!
Same, perfect stuff for a lazy afternoon
CF is awesome. Thanks for replaying his show in youtube. I miss this show. Best show ever.
When Craig and Morgan started singing The Supremes I died!
Yes!! Oh my gawd!! I would have thought it was rehearsed but it clearly was not! I love these 2 men together.
Morgan Freeman had a good singing voice too.
Truly heartwarming to see their genuine connection blossom over the years.
Morgan Freeman preferred coming to Craigs show than any others because of his (Craig's) talent and the unscripted nature of the show.
Maaaaaany actors made this their favorite late night show if they weren't just about promoting themselves.
The synergy between these two (and Craig and many of his guests) is just so amazing. This is why late night TV SUX! I sadly never watched him when he was on, but if it wasn't for The Jayleno Fly, I would have NEVER found this gem of a person!
According to IMDB, more than any other late night show.
this is gonna sound pretentious as fuck, but i can't help but love how craig treated conversation as the art that it is, no matter who was the guest, every single word would matter and be interesting
I think thats a good observation, I believe it to be true.
You're out of here, bucko, we're replacing you with the younger, more energetic Jimmy Fallon fly.
Why would that sound pretentious?
I agree
Yes. A deeper respect to what we experience every day. Definitely.
Craig is the only Late Night host to really, really understand his guests. His humor is just spot on. When at 11:35, he asks, "Were you scared? Were you crying?...... Were you crying???", and he then pats Morgan Freeman on his shoulder to comfort him, I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING!!! Nobody could honestly do that without having some trepidation and Craig is as comfortable as can be. It's these moments he has with guests that make him so enduring.
That would be a great show if Craig and Morgan wander the earth solving crimes. I'd watch.
Yesssss please!!!
Plus teaching their ethics..two men who have morals and willing to stand for them
Pitch that to Netflix. I’d watch it.
THAT....wood be amazing!
They have such great chemistry together
I don't think I ever missed a night watching Craig made my night so pleasant and this has been so great getting to see these great shows again.
32:10 basically the essence of the show. It's cool to see someone like Morgan give Craig his props
Mr. Freeman is one of my all time favorite actors. His voice is superb.
This is the best bromance I ever shipped lol
Yes! Was hoping Morgan Freeman would pop up here. Well, that's my next 2 hours sorted.
Grow up.
People like Ace1 NEVER grow up.
I was wrong about Mr. Freeman. I'm removing my comment.
No need for that. You made a hasty judgement of the man or confused him with someone else or whatever. Nothing wrong with that. We all do that from time to time. And you fucking admitted to being wrong. In a youtube comment section! Kudos for that, sir.

Never seen morgan so at ease with a chat show host “I your friend” he really does like Craig
Craig had so many guests that returned many times, but he's so personalbe, so no surprise.
I feel like I'm watching a kinda private regular conversation and it's cool as hell.
That's what people do on discord
they scream and curse at csgo players
I feel u bro
This is my third time coming back to this compiltion and watching it from start to the end.
Today again, I thought I'd take an afternoon siesta listening to God's voice but Craiggy makes it so interesting, I'm up awake giggling away. So, today again I reiterate 'best talk show ever'.
2022, and it's still the best late night show we were ever graced with....
Ive been trying to find the episode morgan was wearing that tie out and commented he wanted to do what Craig did. And went further saying he was winging it thru and thru. That was the first time i really respected Craig's talent.
Thanx jayleno fly for this
diddududodat2u happy I helped 😊
Morgan is a Blues fan too. He owns half of Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale MS. A good place to hear some Blues.
Morgan Freeman is one of the greatest man and actor there is! He has such charisma that very, VERY few has, in that level maybe no one else. I love all his movies he is that good. Can't go wrong, he makes good job every time you can count on that. Mad respect to this man!
I keep comming back one or twice a year to run through craigs shows! Stellar conversation in this one in perticular 😁
You know it's gonna be amazing when in the cold open you are already sold to his genius sense of humor. Amazing guy!
Thanks for all these great compilations! I listen to them on my work commutes, and I'm laughing and crying and getting rid of the stress!! 🤗
I really love these compilations. Seeing the guests go from kind of unsure about Craig to being super comfortable and friendly with him is really nice. Like in the first couple interviews Morgan wasn't really too talkative, didn't seem to be feeling the vibe much but then from the third on he really opens up and seems to genuinely have a blast just chatting with Craig (and Geoff obviously).
Six years later, I'm only here to say that the thumbnail, alone, deserves an award.
I might watch the video, too. Again.
I love how reoccurring guest get more and more comfortable with each visit.
The great "Easy Reader" in the house!! This trio is fantastic! 👏👏👏👏
Best vocal impression of Morgan Freeman in the business, by far :-)
Probably the BEST interviews I've ever seen.
Grew up watching Morgan Freeman, the only actor that I love everything about him. Mad respect.
Craig Ferguson is absolutely charming and extremely quick. My favorite quality that he brought to his show is the authenticity of himself, and his true qualities.
His gift to the world is that he genuinely disarmed his guests, and brought out their real personality.
I have a better grasp of Morgan Freeman solely because of this show.
"Do you go sailing on your own"
"Yeah"
"Really"
"Yeah i'm one of these idiots, i like, ya know i.....ya know "
"Did you ever make friends with a little volleyball"
watching this friendly develop is time well spent
51:23 That guys Rooster laugh in the Audience....once you hear it ...you won't stop hearing it for the rest of the interview... lol
yeah holy crap it annoys me! What's his problem? Is he doing it on purpose or something?
@@JoseAntonio-dt9fq well I think he's just having a great time he just has one of those laughs 🤣
@Honky Tonk ya welcome lol 😆 😂 🤣
I was busy doing something else while Craig was on TV, and I'm sorry that I missed it. This content is wonderful and I hope that you make a billion.
Morgan so enjoyed the interaction with Geoff, he tapped him on the shoulder. Amazing. 37:57
That little child like personality that Morgan Freeman pulls out is just adorable. It allows him to be a good sport and undercut Craig's question also at 12:30 ish.
These two had such a great camaraderie, that you can see build over time. I did feel the first three or four visits Craig asked him too much about his boat and his plane when there was really no story or substance there to keep harping on it. But when they got talking about the bigger questions of life, death, physics, artificial intelligence, etc. it was great to listen in on their conversations. Another brilliant job The Jay Leno Fly. I am going to make this a weekly indulgence watching your fantastic compilations.
They're both pilots, I don't know if Craig sails as well but it wouldn't surprise me.
WHAT A GREAT COMPILATION!! And I thought Mila Kunis was my favorite of your compilations!! Nope! Thank you for putting this together!
Craig is so real and witty, his none script segments make it all so worth watching, he's so entertaining just by being his ol Scottish/American self, there is no talk show host like him.
