It is much better to look for good second hand telescopes where one can make a real bargain. I have bought SW 114/900 EQ2 for 35$ or Bresser 70/700+Astro 3 for 16$. Much better beginner telescopes. A sturdy mount is as important as the optics itself ! Just read some webs about byuing used optics.
But there is one top 50mm telescope : Zeis 50/540. But it is quite rare and it is just lens, 2 eyepieces and a helical focuser.

Maybe, but this telescope isn't recommended. There are other good telescopes from celestron u can buy.

Were you able to see anything? If so, what did you see?

      Only the moon,
A cheap binocular will also show you the moon in the same way.

@@TheAlienTechs do you have any recomendations for a begginers telescope?

@@bibiniechybi1617 If you don t mind second hand optics, get at least 80mm refractor,100mm is much better. Or 114-150mm newton on at least AZ 3 mount. If you want to overcome some learning, get equatorial mount (eq2 or eq3 equivalents). And the most recommended telescopes are 150-200 mm dobsonians! Very stable, easy to use and they can be for life.

@@bibiniechybi1617really late but maybe you’re still searching? Any Celestron EQ telescope will do, they’re not too expensive, and they’re useable unlike the 50az

@@TheAlienTechs The mount fastener was put in on the WRONG side, the left side of the 'scope facing forward. Another reviewer made this error too. When you put it in on the RIGHT side, it's far better.
