Thank you for explaining everything to the detail. I just received my telescope and i can't wait to explore the planets and the moon.
Wonderful!
I have one, the thing I noticed is that so far I thought I would be able to see mars as a planet, and not as a red dot like an ordinary star, I don’t know if I need a best eyepiece than the original ones or if I’m doing something wrong since I’m a beginner in the telescope thing, I’m open to any tip lol
PSA: the Barlow Lens and the 10mm eyepiece are to be “sandwiched” together so that you can see Mars and Moon at very intense detail. The 25mm piece is only used for WIDE SPACE finding of an object. Once you zero in on a object you want to use, the Barlow Lenses and 10mm EYEPIECE sandwiched together would give you the ability to see the “RED DOT STORM” on Jupiter and the terrain on the moon when it is a FULL MOON and clear sky. You will also be able to see mars clearly and not just a “red dot” like your laser pointer. In summary, 25MM by itself to FIND YOUR OBJECT, then zero into the detail of said object with Barlow lens and 10MM eyepiece “sandwiched” together, and inserted into telescope.
I have been using 10mm lense to look at Jupiter and I can only see a bright dot I am new to this and have no clue any tips?
@@IcalledmyselfEbecausewhynot use the Barlow lens with the 10MM. The app also has some viewing tips on it….check them out.
Thank you for the video, it was really informative. I'm planning on buying this scope but I'm also wanting to photograph more deep sky plus Andromeda wasn't very clear as I was expecting. Can you tell me what lenses I could get to help this? Thanks.
This scope is not for deep sky…its just a beginner telescope…
Astrophotography is most definitely possible with this telescope. So you can't see the more dim objects in the sky. But there are a lot that you can see AND using stacked images shot in RAW format, you can photograph them.
If you can find your target the first time, you can continue to find it between exposures, right? Take a short (say, 2.5 seconds to avoid star trails---experiment to find the best ISO and exposure time for your camera) exposure, realign your telescope using the StarSense app IF needed, then the next exposure, and so on, until you fill your DSLR (or cellphone, if you don't have a DSLR) and have just enough room for your dark, bias, etc. images. How to work with RAW image data is an entirely different topic with many UA-cam tutorials to not only get you started but get you well beyond that.
Then process your stacked RAW (future image) data in your favorite app for handling stacked RAW image data (Siril, Raw Therapee, and I think GIMP will work, too (since Photoshop does, and GIMP is basically a freeware version of Photoshop with a different UI - if it doesn't handle it out of the box, it will probably have a plug-in to do it), and others that are windows only.
With that information, I’m so damn excited
Such a thorough video buddy , so informative
Thanx🤗🙏
i got mine but i can’t see anything out of it, like not even down the street. i need help
Put 25mm eyepiece into a focuser, Don't use a Barlow lens, make sure the objective cover is removed, slowly rotate focuser knobs moving focuser all the way out, then in, until you reach the focus.
it needs to be collimated
Collimate it
You can low the exposure on your camera by pro mode if you have it just look on right and if you saw the plus at the top and at the bottom is minus thats the exposure
Can you suggest me best telescope for astrophotography under 20k or under 30k
Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope
@@PratyushKumarMishra-kr4gp That PoopSeeker is one of the absolutely worst telescopes and complete Chinese scam.
Really that whole line is made up from scams and mediocrities sold with brand sticker
And this StarSense model of this ad video has same scam optical design you recognize from tube being half the length needed for that focal length.
Any tips for the handphone camera setting for taking photo etc iso-
My experience with my phone is that, in normal camera mode the brightness is at the max,, which makes everything looks too bright..nd u can't see any details of the objects... try to reduce the brightness and play around with other adjustments in ur phone settings while taking photos....if u don't get any good results then try to take photos in night mode...
What phone do you have? If you have a android you can go to raw photos and use the astrophotography settings. Generally though you gotta learn proper iso shutter speed ND etc, seems like alot but there's plenty of UA-cam videos or a Google search can get you on your way.
Hello!) The tutorial is awesome) 👍👍👍🙂I have bought such telescope recently) Tell me please, how to take photos? How did you take raw photos? I didn't find such option in starsense explorer app.
SOLD! love it bro.. thanks
Will it work in cities with high light pollution ?
Yes, it will
@@ivanichandrey6286noo
only use 25mm eyepiece? 10mm or barlow lense is no need?
10 mm is okay. I didn't find Barlow lens useful for this telescope.
When we see a star, we need only one lense? No need to combinate both 25mm and 10mm???
@user-mr1dn3ml6c the issue with even with high magnification the apature is too small too allow alot of light to get a proper photo. If you have an android you can get decent photos if you learn how to use raw photo with a longer exposure time and stacking you can get decent photos. There's a whole other side of photography you gotta learn if you wanna get quality images
Sir through this we can observe Deep sky like Andromeda and can observe planets clearly send reply fast sir bcoz im going to buy
How can I use the application without a code ?
You can't use it without code.
Can we see jupiter and saturn planet?
We can see both as stars. Waste of product don't buy
Thanks my friend for this video. What is the support we need to buy to do pictures with our phone ?
Buy a phone adaptor for telescope
Helloo my starsense app cant locate itself what should i do?
Check location permissions on ur phone.
Try to re-install…..if it still doesn’t work then contact celestron on IG or twitter.
First time user, i see upside down things, your dish here is normal, what i am doing wrong?
U r doing nothing wrong, its normal..
Does this telescope have good optics?
It's complete fraud made by Chinese scammers and won't ever give sharp iamge at higher magnifications.
You'll recognize those from focal length being way too long for the tube length.
Newtonian simply always needs roughly as long tube as focal length.
it's a bird jones telescop, but it's not bad in my opinion.
it's not bad until it needs to be collimated, then it's easier to make it worse, than better.
@@A0111. you could collimate it without laser collimator.
@@mad_clown475 the best way is by using a defocused star. Better to avoid removing a lens from it's focuser, unless you have to clean it.
@@A0111. you mean star collimation?
@@mad_clown475 yes, of course.
I’m considering in getting the Celestron StarSense Explorer 130AZ telescope but I also like the price of the Celestron AstroMaster 130EQ & Celestron StarSenseExplorer LT 114AZ. Which would be considered the best bang for your buck?
StarSense 130AZ
Thank you.
I don’t see a red dot in mine
Check the battery of the Red Dot finder...if the battery is good, then maybe it's damaged
You need a moon filter.
Only filter needed for Moon is magnification.
You're only crippling resolution of your eyes, if you dim Moon to need scotopic vision.
Though at day time orange etc long pass filter cutting shorter wavelength scattered sunlight helps with contrast.
Your telescope has not been collimated, the mirror is not aligned correctly.
No matter what you do, you can't get sharp higher magnification image from this, because its optical design is literal fraud and scam.
Bro my budget is so low
Moon is ok but planets look bad, better watch photos on net, than this one😢
