I stumbled upon your video after watching Sorastro's video, thinking, "Yeah, I don't really want to do all the wet blending around the off center lighting source concept." My son and I will rely on your method to finally finish the Hoth expansion and get these figs on the table. It's been too long. Thanks for a great video.
I consider myself an expert at painting miniatures and models, but I always enjoy seeing how others paint the stuff I'm working on. Thank God, this video popped up today, because I got all the remaining Imperial Assault expansions I needed this past week on my birthday, and the Hothead set with the repulser tank was one of them. This video gives me a better idea as to how it should look once painted. I'm taking a different approach than you did, but that's the best thing about this stuff, anyone can paint minis using any method that works for them.
Thanks for your comments! I totally agree - there are so many great video tutorials and painters out there and it's great to find different methods and ideas! Thanks for watching and for your comments!
I agree! I was watching this video thinking, "Why are you doing that? Just do 'this' instead?'" But that's the great point; there are so many different ways to paint a great product. Do what works best for you. Thanks for sharing your method, Nerd Paints!
Love the final look with the red panels weathering and snow! Looks fantastic.
great work
Thanks!!
