Really beautiful “mini”. One misconception i sees lot on for reflection is about the flaming sword. I see many using red or yellow to highlight on the arm and legs closest to the sword. Looks good. But fire isn’t a color. It’s pure light. So in reality it should only illuminate the areas closest to it. Just a tip ☺️
New to painting minis. Are you using a plastic cup to stabilize your mini? How’d you do that? Awesome video btw! Just got blood rage a while back and going to refer to your video to paint the fire giant tomorrow :-)
Thanks! Good luck to your painting! I am using a plastic cup. It's just a generic plastic cup I bought from the local store. I use a plastic cup and put some ticky tack on the underside of the miniature to stick to the cup. This really helps handing the miniature while painting.
Probably the best painting tutorials I've seen on YT. Well done.
Amazing tutorial, I'm going to draw a lot inspiration from it. Thank you. 🙏

Only can say WOW 😮. Great work 👏🏻
Looking forward to more Blood Rage in depth tutorials!!
Thanks!! I'm finishing up another model from Nemesis then looking at painting the Sea Serpent soon :)
Re: Odd numbers of skulls. Odd numbers are inherently more "random" to humans, because they aren't usually symmetrical.
Ah, great point - that totally makes sense, thanks!
