Really amazing work, both this and the Rancor. I'm still fairly new to the hobby, and although I've been a fan of Sorastro's videos for awhile, it's really great to see another talented painter enter the IA scene. More painters making tutorials = more options to play with and see what works best for me. Happy to support you both on Patreon. I can't wait to see your channel grow.
Thanks!! I agree, Sorastro has some awesome videos and he's very talented. I too wanted to share some of my techniques and what I've found throughout the years works for me. Thanks so much for your support and comments!!! I'll be posting Captain Terro next on my Patreon page prior to making it live for the public just a heads-up. :)
Captain Sanchez also - stay tuned - I'll be posting Captain Terro soon and thinking either the Gamorrean Guards, Grand Inquisitor, or Jet Troopers next... we'll see
If the demand is there then for sure! I'm also curious how much people are interested in strictly paint brushing vs adding airbrushing to the mix. I just started a Patreon page where people can also comment and throw in their thoughts in addition to youtube (but I'll look at both of course). Thanks for your interest and for subscribing! I'll be posting Captain Terro next so stay tuned :)
hi nerd paints just wondering what you would suggest for a sprey station kind of thing at my house last time i sprayed i got in quite allot of trouble for the sprey getting everywhere.... eheh.... any suggestions
blacktest - great question. Cheapest and easiest thing I do is get a fairly good size box (mine is just a 13wx11hx10d box, cut off the top lid/flaps, lay it on its side outside and put your miniature inside and spray at about a 45 degree angle aiming your miniature in the box. I can post a quick priming video if that helps.
It all depends on the miniature. With Jabba I didn't because I used dry brushing quite a bit as the base. You'll see in my Murne Rin & Weequay Pirates videos I used a wet palette with my paints.

You've inspired me to post a priming video :) I just posted demonstrating how I prime my miniatures. Hope that helps!
Nerd Paints awesome that would be perfect thanks
Just curious, so you don't water down your base layers with water or something?

Thanks for answering. I will have a look at them ;)
Marlon Kruis - No worries at all, thanks for watching!! :)
